Quick little stop with signs but no fort

Quick little 5-10 minute walk with a lot of markers/boards to read about the history of the area and the fort. Very brief stop but really cool information. Pay attention to ticks though!!

Not a destination

So this is a marker in a field. It looks like they are starting to build things up here to make it more of a destination. It has some signs that talk about the Fort. Takes five minutes to walk.

Visitor gazebo ribbon cutting

Attended a ribbon cutting for the visitor gazebo today. Nice shelter and information about Fort Pierre Chouteau unveiled today.

There are many informational displays at the site describing the history of the early fur traders. It is very interesting if you take the time to read.
