Long Beach
Very nice place to visit. A must if you are in the area, with nice views the aquarium and nice rest area by the see. The front line is cosy for couples and families.
Nice walk across from the Hyatt
We took a morning walk Dec 5th. It was before 10 AM so everything was closed. A lot of joggers and bikers on the sidewalk. Great view of the Queen Mary.
Ok, nice area
Ok. Not the nicest beach areas, cool marina, some overpriced shops and cafes. Nicer beaches to the north and south
Stick to Shoreline
Construction work underway limits the space, so pedestrians and cyclists are always fighting for space. Views are OK but nothing special and I'd probably just take a trip down Ocean instead.

It was nice to walk on the Waterfront and watch the great boats. Also to look at Queen Mary, and to walk through the light tower and the restaurants and shops.
