Perfect for lovers of theater, dance and music! The grand scale Reynolds Hall housed inside The Smith Center has hosted some of the biggest Broadway productions around such as The Color Purple, Cinderella, Wicked and The Book of Mormon. Most shows run for a week long or even a month long depending on high demand. The stunning space is reminiscent of a venue you would see in New York City with an overhanging balcony level seating at the top and front orchestra seating on the lower level with state-of-the-art sound and elegant structural interiors. During intermission, dine on small fare in the lounge or browse through merchandise in the lobby. Jazz artists, local acts and headliners such as John Legend and Goapele have held concerts here, too.

For live plays and orchestra. Home to Wicked play when in town.
The most hotly anticipated cultural venue in recent Las Vegas history is a breathtaking, $465 million center that hosts groups ranging from the Israel Philharmonic and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater to the Cleveland Orchestra and London’s Academy of St. Martin in the Fields.
This performance arts center was built with the intention of serving the local community, rather than the tourists. This is the place to catch cheaper shows by acts more popular with Las Vegas residents and is a great alternative to the glam on The Strip.
Yes Virginia, there is culture in Las Vegas, and it begins at The Smith Center. Are we the Broadway of the West? Not a chance, but then again Rome wasn’t built in a day, or so they tell me. The Smith Center is part of the revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas. It ushers in a new era of Las Vegas a world class city. The facility itself is wonderful, Art Deco-ish but not the garish showrooms of the strips, (Don’t get me wrong I love those too.) i should also mention reasonable ticket prices and a great line up coming to town. This place isn't just for locals, if you are visiting check them out. Live it up you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!
