Turns out the museum had just opened for the season. Great history of the area and a helpful docent.

Nice museum

Great collection of Austin History. They continue to add things and keep it worth visiting. Its free, and worth the time to stop and see.

This is a by donation museum that is full of wonder things to look at. If you have time it is worth stopping by for an hour.
