Kind of disappointed
Although our visit wasn’t in the correct season for the main attraction, we still had fun exploring the trails and tunnels. Overall, the preserve was alot smaller than we had thought. Trails were also...
Charming mini hike.
Lovely even after the flowers are done blooming. A nice, non-strenuous, shady walk in a historic area. Google Shenks Ferry history before going to understand the rick structures in the woods.
Better Directions Needed
Do yourself a favor if traveling here for the 1st time Enter River Road & Shenks Ferry Road as an intersection in your gps They have signs from there
Beautiful Area.
A beautiful and isolated area to hike. The variety of springtime wild flowers is one of the largest concentrations on the east coast.
Nice walk
Once you get here it’s very nice. The drive in isn’t the greatest and parking can be a challenge, but it is nice once you figure that part out. Would be nice if the signage and parking was better. We ...
