They Died For Us!
The cemetery at Normandy brings to home of the scope of how many men gave their lives for their country. Seeing row after row after row of crosses was extremely moving. It is a must see!

My mother's first cousin, Ian Philip MACDONALD, was killed in action on a night patrol on 19th June 1944 at the railway bridge just south of Putot-en-Bessin aged 24. He is buried in this cemetery.
