Worth a short side trip

Decent road to the overlook - though you do go by a couple of interesting abodes. The overlook at the road end is nice for photos of the surf and river.

Gorgeous views....

When you reach the parking lot, trail can be a jaunt, but so worth the trek.... views are breathtaking .

Beautiful views in every direction. The day we went was a little hazy. The drive was gorgeous. The hiking trail is and can be long if you are not prepared. The view is breathtaking.
