    伝説上の人物、初代天皇の陵

    神話の世界の初代天皇の御陵です。明治時代に塚山から治定変えとなって整備されたとのことで、周囲の陵墓の中でも一際広大で静けさを感じます。明治時代という時期における象徴的な意味でも、また政治的な意味でも橿原神宮と共通した雰囲気を感じます。
