Lujia Village is located in Guilin City National Scenic Area "Guobin Cave" reed flute rock and a natural village on the banks of the Taohua River. In March 2010, Xiufeng District firmly grasped the historic opportunity of Guilin City "two changes and one integration", and carried out the whole village of 65 cottages to re-establish the whole village and implement the "renovation of the whole village style" project. After careful construction in recent years, a characteristic village of 98 scattered, white-walled and blue-tiled Huizhou architecture blends with northern Guizhou houses stands out. Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers away from the center of Guilin. It is a famous tourist village (one of the first 16 characteristic villages in Guangxi) built by Guilin. In fact, it is a newly built tourist village. The village is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The environment is very good. One of Guilin's "Old Eight Views", "Yangjiang Autumn Moon", refers to that place. The film "Traveling to the West" is also taken here. The buildings in the village are also a bit distinctive, with slope roofs, small green tiles, lattice windows, white powder walls, and bluestone slabs combining these architectural elements of traditional northern Guangxi houses. Most of the houses in the village have been opened up as homestays, tea houses and farmhouse restaurants. The special dishes are old tofu and tofu fish in Lujia Village, which are included in the intangible cultural heritage. Maybe due to the impact of the epidemic, it seems that the business of homestays and restaurants is very light and there are few tourists.
Crossing the wind and rain bridge across the Taohua River, I entered Lujia Village. What I saw was the Huizhou architecture of the blue tiles and white walls, scattered and distributed on the banks of the Taohua River. The houses are aggregated, the streets are straight together, and the paved surfaces echo each other. The bridges and flowing water, the pavilions, the landscape statues, and the green belt are surrounded. Even the paved names and signboard writing are quite artistic! As a famous tourist village, now all households in Lujia Village are doing catering, mainly operating farmhouse dishes, is a farmhouse concentrated area, with the reputation of "tofu village"! To eat in Lujia Village, you can't help but order a pot of tofu brain and a piece of tofu fish.
The village relies on tourism to live and live in peace.
It takes about ten minutes to play from the center of Guilin to Lujia Village. It can be said that dining and entertainment are integrated. It is a good place with mountains and water, pleasant scenery, and a quiet environment. It is also a good choice to walk here with friends.
