I love Whitewater State Park. They have an amazing campsite with a hidden lake. I love the trails, snakes, tadpoles, and butterflies. The snake was dark blue and 8 to 9 inches long. My favorite thin...
Very nice
Paved roads which was nice for dust control and little kids on bikes. Newer bathroom facilities too.
Beware of projected low temps
Things to know: -Staff was very friendly and helpful -We went on 10/20/22 for 2 nights. Tent camping with projected lows at 41deg. It was not 41deg. My guess is the temp got down to 28deg overnig...
Lots of steps great views
Only minutes away and much better than anything in Rochester... lots of trails and elevation changes. Only downside is terrible cell phone reception..
