Lovely view - stunning coastline
This is a great little side trip en route to Green Cape. The road is rough so be prepared and perhaps think twice if you have a 2wd. A short walk leads to a stunning coastal vista with rock formations...
Best to have high clearance vehicle
Went down this track - thankfully in a 4wd with high clearance. The track is rough and there are no warning signs. BUT it was definitely worth the trip. Spectacular scenery. Every corner of this coast...
Rough road in.
From the main road to green Cape Lighthouse, it is only 1.6 kms to Pulpit Rock, but the road is really rough, so much care needs to be taken. It is worth it though, as the views are lovely.
A surprise side trip
A quick right hand turn down a rough track after visiting the lighthouse was a hidden gem. We have a 4wd which handled the road easily but I wouldn't recommend it for a normal car. The view was amazin...
