Mersea Island - A nice clean beach
Very nice clean beach, clean water and nice and sandy. Dotted with colourful beach huts. Huge pub and a small cafe with a toilet block. Not so packed like other beaches in Essex. A nice day out.

Great walks along the beach. Food on the cafe beach entrance was excellent. Love the colourful beach huts, very friend lovely place.

Thoughtless dog owners.
The beach had dogs everywhere not on leads messing everywhere I thought dogs were not allowed on beach this time of year.spolit our walk.it seems these days if you haven't got a dog your not normal .
A great place
Went there on the bus, 33 minutes from Colchester. Short walk to the beach, beach huts, marina. Great place for a walk, a must for birdwatchers. Not very crowded. You can do several walks also to East...
