We had never seen covered bridges so we really enjoyed these. There are 3 within a couple miles of each other. They look alike but we enjoyed seeing them. The Paper Mill Bridge. The Henry Bridge.

Lovely covered bridge

Lovely covered bridge. It is rather short, and not in a main part of Bennington, but it is really cute. It is worth a short excursion to see it.

Covered bridges are not only fun to visit, but are part of history. Whether you walk across or drive across, or both, it’s worth a quick trip.
