Amazing
This monument deserves respect as it represents the type of seafood that served the population very well. It is just across from the very large war memorial.

Interesting story
Worth knowing the story as it was seal meat that saved the population from starvation during WW2. Not nice meat but it will save you when starving.

Very interesting story
The story behind this monument reminds us about the horror of war. The seal saved human lives. A very interesting, unusual and touching monument.
