The reception staff were unhelpful - in many respects they did not know the full process - unprofessional and not customer friendly. The managers behind the front desk were equally not responsive nor helpful. The staff do not smile (similar to the airport security staff!!). The hotel is really nice and clean. I would stay again at the hotel because it is a nice hotel, but it would be great hotel if the staff were more guest friendly and approachable.
Generally the experience was still not bad. The front desk staff was trying her best to be as much help possible during the stay.
I had wifi issue they even end up decided to give me an individual dialed-up router. What a wonderful service. 10/10 for that
But however there are a lot of things seems unorganize... few of the tea break staff and lunch time staff seems clueless on what to do...
No one is willing to serve and they had no idea what to do when a guest wanted to order something. Its just a complimentary tea - breakkkkk....
Room wise and facility it was quite ok. Room is decent clean... gym room is well equipped too.
They are now still going through renovation, hopefully it only gets better from here.
Breakfast choices was decent and with good quality of dosa. Would give the Chef 9/10 rating.
Overall still a rather pleasant stay. will consider coming again when i am around
Il soggiorno qui era fantastico, tutti i membri del personale erano amici e il cibo era delizioso. E la posizione unica di questo hotel vicino al fiume che molti crocodili per vederci dalla finestra.
Il nostro soggiorno a Taj Gandhinagar è stato un'esperienza mista. Anche se il cibo era decente, non si è reso particolarmente difficile. Il problema più grande che abbiamo affrontato è stato l'elettricità, che ha causato frequenti disturbi di potenza, che hanno causato il condizionamento dell'aria a disattivare più volte durante la notte. Pertanto, per svegliarci almeno cinque volte, abbiamo dovuto cambiarlo, rendendo molto difficile ottenere un sonno tranquillo, e per un hotel di questo calibro, ci aspettavamo un'esperienza molto più semplice in termini di servizi di base.
Great hotel with good service, outdoor areas would have been a better add on as there was nothing or nowhere to go on our lull times specially when pool and spa are already closed.
But overall service is great and all the rest are very good especially if you are in business trip.

VVinay BothraThe hotel is under renovation and the entire property (including rooms) smells of toxic paint. There was no information about this renovation on the website while making the booking. The heavy solvent smell gave me a headache and the stay was very unplesant.

But there are two serious issues that need immediate attention:
1. Overdone greetings: Every staff member saying “Namaste” each time they see a guest is too much. It feels forced and intrusive, especially for business travelers who value space and focus. The first welcome is great — after that, hospitality should be felt through efficiency, not repetition.
2. Unsafe heavy gates: From the restaurant to my room, I had to push through three extremely heavy gates. This is a serious safety hazard just waiting for an accident. Try bringing an elderly guest and let them attempt it — even one of those gates is difficult to manage. It’s a clear design flaw that needs fixing before someone gets hurt.
You have a fantastic property and incredible food, but these two issues take away from what could easily be a five-star experience. Please address them seriously — the difference will be huge.
UUtente ospiteit is a relatively new property with modern decor and spacious lounge and dining hall. rooms and bathrooms are fine with very good mattresses which ensures good sleep quality. the staff at reception is very efficient and cooperative.we celebrated our 50th marriage anniversary and were upgraded to a club room with complimentary lounge facility and a lovely cake was offered to us as a loving gesture. we had booked a half board package and the breakfast and dinner both had lots of varieties and many of the dishes were good, however i feel some dishes require improvement. lastly there was live sitar recital which speaks of high taste of the hotel management. the sitarist Mr Shabir performed very well and was very graceful person.the staff every where including restaurant staff was very well trained and m/s Radhika, Tirva, Rupsha and Sonali were very friendly and always eager to help the clients and served with a smile.
