Francia: hotel con spa nella provincia di Grand Est

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t quite consider it a five-star experience. The building itself is beautiful, and the bed and sauna were both very comfortable. I also want to mention Sarah from the sauna team — she was extremely kind and helpful, which made a great impression. That said, I was quite disappointed with the room’s cleanliness. When we checked in, we noticed stains on the pillow, sheets, and duvet. We asked for the pillow to be replaced, but it seemed to be overlooked the first time. Even more surprisingly, the bedding didn’t appear to be changed the next day — the same stained pillow and sheets were still there, which was disappointing. We also accidentally spilled a bit of coffee on the bedside table one morning, and when we came back later that day, the stain was still there, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Lastly, a small detail — my surname, “Lin,” was misspelled as “Lim” twice. It’s a minor thing, but one I wouldn’t expect from a hotel of this rating. In summary, while the property and facilities are lovely, the cleanliness and attention to detail fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel.

In piccola Francia, anche se ci sono turisti intorno, non è stato affatto incollato e molto comodo per soggiornare. Infrastrutture: l'hotel ha quattro piani, l'ascensore è al terzo piano, il cameriere aiuta a trasferire il bagaglio al quarto piano, e quando si parte, c'è qualcuno che aiuta.La decorazione nella stanza può essere vista per molto tempo, il legno ha perso le tracce, ma ha un senso di protezione.Il panorama fuori dalla finestra è buono.Il primo piano ha spa e faccia. Ogni camera ha un'ora di tempo per lavare il bagno nel centro di una sauna al giorno, ma gli uomini e le donne non sono separati, si consiglia di portare un costume da bagno se vuoi andare. Igiene: il bagno e il bagno sono separati.Molto pulito. Ambiente: silenzio interno e confortevole, e costruzioni esterne danno pace nel cuore della gente. Servizio: dai servizi della reception ai servizi del ristorante sono molto entusiasti. Ps, la colazione non è molto scelta, ma è deliziosa.Le uova possono includere l'acqua di caffè.

Dit hotel is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een tussenstop, Bij aankomst toont het hotel van buitenaf een verwaarloosde indruk ,maar binnen is dat zeker niet het geval, wij hadden een familiekamer en we hebben in Frankrijk nog nooit zo een grote kamer gehad ,de kamer is zeer groot en mooi ,alleen spijtig dat de gordijnen een armoedige uitstraling hebben en niet erg verduisterend zijn  Restaurant is een aanrader  Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar 

L'ambiente, la posizione e il servizio sono tutti molto buoni. È adatto a chi arriva in auto, con due supermercati super grandi proprio fuori. C'è anche un supermercato asiatico nelle vicinanze e il parcheggio è molto spazioso. Il servizio di lavanderia costa 10 euro.

Hotel affascinante ed elegante, servizio eccellente in piscina con champagne freddo e altre bevande, acqua da piscina a temperatura ideale e cucina deliziosa al ristorante (meglio scargot che abbiamo mai mangiato) Ringrazio il personale dell'hotel (soprattutto quando la signora che ci ha ospitati era molto simpatica ed efficace) tutti i membri del personale che ci ha ospitati con molta professionalità e buon umore in tutti gli spazi dell'hotel!

Great location near the train station. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety. Staff were professional and welcoming. We were kindly upgraded to a Premium room, which was a lovely surprise.

Solo un soggiorno di notte, ma sicuramente una molto rilassante e tranquilla. Molto buon servizio, molto bello e accogliente lobby. La stanza era pulita e il letto molto comodo. Forse sarebbe necessario un mini frigo per tenere l'acqua fresca durante i giorni caldi. Inoltre, un po'disappunto della chiusura della barra del tetto a causa del tempo, mentre non c'era alcuna preoccupazione reale.

L'hotel si trova in una strada tranquilla, a soli dieci minuti dal pittoresco terminal delle navi da crociera. Le camere sono spaziose e i bagni sono completamente separati. Il soffione della doccia idroterapica è stata una novità per me; i getti d'acqua incrociati mi hanno lenito la testa e le spalle. La colazione era ricca e deliziosa, e il personale della reception e del ristorante è stato molto cordiale. Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni meravigliosi qui.

Fantastic location right next to the cathedral !  Easy to get around the city center and many restaurants options near by.  The rooms are a bit old but considering the location it may be the best option in the area.  Highly recommended !
