Ottima location, dentro la città vecchia ma a bordo quindi silenziosa e vicina alla fermata per il taxi (non bisogna camminare molto con i bagagli). Servizio di pick up in stazione (siamo stati tre notti) ottimo. Ottimo caffè e struttura nuova e pulita. Bello il cortile per un momento di relax. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa (doccia enorme, vasca da bagno, area tatami per il thè), dotata di ogni comfort e pulitissima. Il proprietario non parla inglese ma comunica benissimo con il traduttore. Ci ha offerto vari servizi di cui non abbiamo usufruito.

The hotel didnt have lift but the staff assist us to carry luggage. They have laundry room but not the drying area. The AC can be set to heating. The lake view was amazing. From the hotel, it took 30 mins to ancient city because the hotel is on another side of the lake.

Ho scelto appositamente questo hotel vicino al centro città e i miei genitori hanno adorato lo stile. La cosa più importante è che il servizio dell'hotel è davvero eccellente! È la mia prima volta a Kunming, e la prossima tappa è Dali. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta di questo hotel, sia per il servizio che per la pulizia e le strutture. Il tempo a Kunming è davvero splendido e, unito all'attento servizio dell'hotel, mi ha fatto sentire davvero a mio agio.

Hotel semplice e moderno, in posizione molto comoda (vicino a negozi, centri commerciali e a 400m dalla linea 3 della metropolitana). Il personale è molto giovane e molto gentile, parlano anche un po’ di inglese. Camera in ordine, pulita, con doccia ampia. Alla reception c’è la possibilità di farsi un tè e vengono offerti snack gratuiti. Utilissimo locale lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Torneremmo volentieri in questo hotel!

The room was so lovely and so was the courtyard. The ambiance of the hotel was amazing. It is conveniently located near the entrance of the ancient city, making it accessible even with luggage (trust me, book a hotel near the exit. It is hard to drag your luggage around the ancient city). Plus point is the hotel is tucked in an alley so it wasn't noisy at all at night Hot water comes out instantly when you turn on the tap :) Owners were super lovely and helpful. Loved my experience there as a whole. Will definitely come back here again when i visit lijiang in the future :)

Una guesthouse molto accogliente. Le camere sono fresche e accoglienti, completamente attrezzate, pulite e ordinate, con biancheria da letto morbida e confortevole. Il bagno ha una separazione ben progettata per l'asciutto e l'umido e i prodotti da bagno sono forniti con cura. La luce del sole entra direttamente nella stanza, offrendo una fantastica vista sull'intera area di Gaozhuang. Anche la posizione è eccellente, con un mercato alimentare al piano inferiore e il mercato notturno raggiungibile a piedi. La receptionist (numero 31) è stata molto cordiale e attenta, e il direttore ci ha anche consigliato delle specialità locali. Per comodità, il proprietario ci ha offerto gratuitamente un upgrade da una camera con tre camere da letto a una con quattro camere da letto. La camera era spaziosa e confortevole, e la consiglio vivamente!

Al check-in ti offrono un servizio fotografico in abiti tibetani, 30 minuti di scatti + 3 foto gratuite. Puoi scegliere tra il pascolo o la tua camera. Non devi cercare consigli, è super comodo. Il maggiordomo è sempre disponibile, la colazione, il tè pomeridiano e la zuppa dolce della buonanotte sono tutti organizzati, e ci sono anche simpatici animali con cui interagire! Non preoccuparti troppo per l'altitudine: l'hotel ti darà in anticipo consigli utili sul mal di montagna e sul meteo. Le camere hanno un generatore di ossigeno e un umidificatore. We had a wonderful stay at 18 Degrees Smart Hotel! The room was stylish, modern, and very spacious. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices to suit every taste. We especially appreciated the free coffee machine in the lobby – such a nice touch for guests. The absolute highlight was the staff. Since we don’t have a Chinese phone number, we couldn’t order delivery to our room, but they kindly helped us place the order to the hotel. Communication through WeChat with the translator worked perfectly, and they went above and beyond to assist us. The only downside was the elevators – they were very busy, and with two out of order during our stay, the waiting times were quite long, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Kunming!

Se prendete un taxi o noleggiate un'auto, consiglio di impostare come destinazione il ristorante 'Mian Bao Ren'. L'hotel ha una posizione eccellente, proprio accanto al punto panoramico della Montagna del Leone, da cui si può ammirare l'intera città vecchia di Lijiang. È molto comodo per gli spostamenti. Le strutture della camera sono buone, la stanza è molto pulita e ordinata, e il materasso è estremamente morbido e confortevole. L'acqua calda arriva a una velocità adeguata, e ci sono molte cose disponibili. La colazione offre un'ampia scelta e ha un buon sapore. Il servizio è ottimo e premuroso. Il proprietario è molto gentile, ha persino organizzato un'auto privata per venirmi a prendere all'aeroporto di Sanyi quando sono atterrato a notte fonda. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

UUtente ospiteThis was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. NNihat ErWe had an amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely give it a 10/10. The hotel is very clean, well organized, and feels luxurious. Our room was beautiful and featured a large bathtub in front of a huge window with a breathtaking view of the lake and the Snow Mountain. Another highlight was the breakfast service. Breakfast was delivered directly to our room every morning, and the quality was excellent. We could choose between a Western breakfast and a Chinese breakfast, and the staff also carefully respected our dietary wishes, especially regarding not eating meat or pork. The service overall was outstanding. The staff were always reachable via WeChat and helped us with every request we had. We also really appreciated the complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service. In addition, the team provided us with great information about local activities and even helped us find Muslim-friendly restaurants in the area, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, we are extremely satisfied and very thankful for the excellent service and the wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Servizio: Il nostro gruppo, un mix di giovani e anziani, aveva quattro valigie da 24 pollici e diversi bagagli a mano. La locanda ha organizzato con cura una navetta per venirci a prendere alla stazione. Diversi ragazzi e una ragazza, la signora Su, ci aspettavano al punto di consegna in anticipo per aiutarci con i bagagli. La padrona di casa è stata molto disponibile nell'organizzare il nostro itinerario, liberandoci da ogni preoccupazione. Innanzitutto, la posizione della locanda è molto buona, gli spostamenti sono comodi, anche le camere sono belle, c'è un bellissimo salice davanti alla porta, secondo il proprietario, anche il nome della locanda deriva da questo albero, anche la colazione è buona, i noodles di riso sono deliziosi! Il capo è anche molto premuroso. Quando usciamo per visitare la città antica di notte, ci ricorda sempre di indossare più vestiti e di non prendere freddo! Un'esperienza di soggiorno fantastica.

The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

Posizione Si trova in alto nel vecchio castello, quindi lo scenario che lo sovrasta e la Montagna innevata del Drago di Giada sono molto belli. 2. Condizioni della stanza È uguale a quello che vedi nella foto. Tuttavia, pensavo fosse una terrazza privata, ma si è rivelata una terrazza condivisa, quindi ero confuso, ma l'ho detto allo staff e, fortunatamente, c'era una stanza libera, quindi mi hanno cambiato in una stanza migliore. Sarebbe una buona idea tenerlo presente al momento della prenotazione. 3. Gentilezza Anche se è stata colpa mia se ho effettuato la prenotazione senza fare le dovute ricerche, mi hanno cambiato la stanza. Grazie E mi ha dato molto aiuto di cui avevo bisogno per il mio viaggio. UUtente ospiteQuesta è la migliore locanda in cui abbia mai soggiornato nello Yunnan! Innanzitutto, le strutture dell'hotel sono davvero ottime! In Yunnan, in inverno, devi avere il riscaldamento a pavimento e i bagni intelligenti. Hahaha. La stanza in cui vivo a Dali è troppo grande, quindi devo comunque affidarmi agli scaldamani per stare al caldo anche se accendo l'aria condizionata tutta la notte. Ed è davvero una benedizione avere un bagno intelligente in inverno! La stanza di Guanxin è molto accogliente, con un riscaldamento a pavimento sufficiente. Quando mi sveglio la mattina, le mie pantofole sono calde e l'acqua calda per lavarmi esce rapidamente. C'è anche una TV, un tavolo da biliardo e un tavolo da mahjong! Tutto gratis! Nel complesso, le strutture sono molto buone e l'esperienza è molto positiva. Poi arriva il servizio. Prima del check-in, la governante ti contatterà per venirti a prendere. Il capo guiderà davvero un triciclo per aiutarti con i bagagli. Hahaha. C'è zuppa di funghi bianchi la sera e colazione la mattina. È facile soffrire di mal di montagna e scarsa resistenza quando si arriva a Lijiang, quindi il cibo leggero e pulito nella locanda è molto adatto! Nella nostra stanza non c'era segnale sulla TV e qualcuno è venuto subito a ricollegarla. Quando siamo partiti l'ultimo giorno, il capo ha addirittura organizzato il nostro accompagnamento all'aeroporto! Bellissima e di buon cuore! Cccl3monAs a solo traveler, this was my first trip to Lijiang. Shortly after I made my booking, the inn reached out to confirm my arrival details and arranged a train station pickup. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my room had been upgraded. I initially booked a larger room for my last night, but they kindly upgraded my entire stay to that room so I wouldn’t have to move my belongings. Location: The inn is right in Lijiang Old Town, which is a super popular spot for Chinese tourists. I didn’t go during peak season, but even then it felt a bit overwhelming at times. When I arrived, my luggage was transferred onto a little tricycle cart to be brought to the inn. It’s very easy to get lost in the maze of small streets, so I’d recommend downloading AMap before you arrive and saving the inn’s location to make getting around easier. If you’re heading outside the Old Town, you can just walk to the main road near the InterContinental Hotel to catch a taxi. Room: The room is really spacious and cozy, and they’ve thought of pretty much everything—from a free snack bar and full bathroom amenities to even earplugs. They also welcomed me with a fruit basket when I arrived, which was such a nice touch. The bathroom is big, with both a shower and a huge bathtub, plus a smart toilet with a heated seat. My room faced the street, so it can get a bit noisy in the evening. It didn’t bother me since I fall asleep pretty easily, but if you’re a light sleeper, they’ve got earplugs ready. Or you can go for a room facing the inner courtyard, which should be much quieter. The Inn & Service: The inn has a beautiful rooftop where you can see Yulong Mountain on a clear day. I was lucky to have great weather the entire time, so I ended up going up there every morning just to enjoy the view. If you love plants (especially succulents), you’ll love this place, they’re everywhere and so well taken care of. Another highlight for me was the cute dogs and cats around the inn. If you’re an animal lover, this is definitely a bonus. They also serve a Chinese-style breakfast, and the rice noodles were honestly so good. Everyone at the inn is incredibly friendly and helpful, they really go above and beyond, from recommending local restaurants and tea houses to suggesting places to visit. They don’t speak English, but it wasn’t an issue at all. We just used WeChat to communicate. I’d definitely recommend downloading it before coming to China, you’ll use it a lot, not just for chatting but also for payments (along with Alipay). Overall, I can’t recommend Floral Hotel enough. The service was amazing, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

KKim DzungLa casa vacanze si trova vicino alla porta del mercato di Zhongyi, molto comoda per raggiungere la strada principale e prendere un taxi. La sera c'è un mercato alimentare con molti piatti, dove si possono acquistare regali come tè alla rosa e dolci. A 200-300 metri dal Palazzo Mu, comoda per raggiungere i luoghi principali della città antica. Fuori dalla porta di fronte c'è la stufato di costolette secche dell'anziana signora, e a pochi passi c'è un delizioso negozio di noodles dall'altra parte del ponte, di cui ho dimenticato il nome. KKarena TI appreciated the convenient location and service, but the misleading tour arrangements, unexpected extra charges, and poor coordination made my overall stay frustrating and disappointing. Location: The hotel is in the southern part of the Old Town, which has fewer crowds than other areas. It’s quieter, still beautiful, and easily accessible. Service: The hotel offers one complimentary train/airport pickup if arranged in advance (for 3 night stay). The staff helped carry my luggage from the South Gate (cars can’t enter the Old Town) and provided welcome fruit upon request. Breakfast was as described, though the noodles were undercooked. The staff were responsive and helped me book tickets, including a trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain—but this is where things went wrong. Initially, the hotel staff quoted me a reasonable price that matched my research and said the schedule was flexible, I could spend as much time as I like. When I went to book, they suddenly told me I needed to pay about 200 RMB more because I was a foreigner—something I knew wasn’t true from my experience in other cities. They also said lunch was mandatory. I was short on time and wanted convenience, so I accepted the extra charges. Although I was told that jackets, oxygen bottles, and water would be provided, the driver took me and other Chinese tourists to a store to buy additional oxygen and energy drinks at four times the normal price. There I was told the “free” oxygen bottle was too small—information the hotel hadn’t mentioned. I bought one just in case but never needed it. I booked a sunrise tour with a 5 a.m. pickup, but we didn’t actually see sunrise at the mountain—partly due to weather, partly because the schedule wasn’t designed for it. The driver took me to Blue Moon Lake first, then the cable car, and the Impression of Lijiang show last. He kept saying I was short on time, so I needed to buy an additional ticket for battery car to get around and rushed through Blue Moon Lake without knowing how long the walk should take, only to end up waiting an hour at the cable car. After the show, we were taken to lunch, which had no menu—just a very basic hot pot shared with random strangers seated at the same table. The driver texted me to hurry up because other passengers were waiting and even told me that they didn’t pay for lunch because they knew it wasn’t good. That upset me even more. Overall, I felt rushed, overcharged, and misled, and the whole experience made the trip far less enjoyable. Amenities: The amenities were as described, but there was no daily housekeeping or towel replacement.
