Yunnan, Cina: hotel romantici

This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

I had a wonderful experience at vento hotel, the staffs was so friendly and accommodating always welcoming us with a smile and tries the best to attend to our requests. They even have sending off service by didi to locations within gu cheng and airport/railway station pick up service. Overall, I’m really more than satisfied with the experience here and would definitely recommend to my friends & family if they are planning to visit Li Jiang! Cheers.

Inutile dire che i servizi dell'hotel sono eccellenti e la sua posizione con vista sulla città è fantastica. Il servizio è impeccabile. Diverse persone sono state incaricate di ritirare i miei bagagli alla reception, trasportandoli su per le scale e poi lungo la faticosa salita. A causa dei miei impegni, mi sono stati offerti tre giorni di deposito bagagli gratuito. Il quarto giorno, fuori orario, ha preso in spalla la mia valigia da 71 cm, ha camminato per 15 minuti attraverso gran parte della Città Vecchia e l'ha consegnata gratuitamente a una pensione dall'altra parte della Città Vecchia di Lijiang. Questo servizio è stato commovente. La prossima volta che visiterò Lijiang, andrò sicuramente a trovare il signor Zhou per una chiacchierata a cuore aperto attorno al fuoco.

Ho dato un'occhiata a questa locanda prima di fare il check-in e aveva delle buone recensioni. Non sono rimasto deluso dopo il check-in e sono stato molto soddisfatto. Innanzitutto, la posizione della locanda è molto buona, gli spostamenti sono comodi, anche le camere sono belle, c'è un bellissimo salice davanti alla porta, secondo il proprietario, anche il nome della locanda deriva da questo albero, anche la colazione è buona, i noodles di riso sono deliziosi! Il capo è anche molto premuroso. Quando usciamo per visitare la città antica di notte, ci ricorda sempre di indossare più vestiti e di non prendere freddo! Un'esperienza di soggiorno fantastica.

Everything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way. The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers. During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊 On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us. We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there..

Potrete godervi questo incredibile spettacolo direttamente dalla vostra camera, rendendo superfluo frequentare costosi caffè! Per una vista ancora migliore, la struttura offre posti a sedere sul balcone al terzo piano. Ciò che distingue davvero questo posto, tuttavia, è il servizio caloroso e familiare. Gli operatori sono incredibilmente disponibili e attenti. Mi hanno portato i bagagli fino al punto di ritiro auto e ritorno con soli 5 minuti di preavviso. Siamo stati accolti con un delizioso rituale a base di tè Pu'er locale e biscotti ai fiori. Mi hanno persino ricordato quando era ora di prendere il treno ad alta velocità! La posizione è molto comoda per esplorare l'antica città di Lijiang. La colazione offriva opzioni accoglienti e locali come porridge o noodles. Una nota importante: l'accesso alla struttura avviene tramite scale, che potrebbero rappresentare una difficoltà per i viaggiatori con mobilità ridotta o per gli accompagnatori anziani. Tuttavia, per chi se lo può permettere, il panorama eccezionale e il servizio impeccabile ripagano ampiamente lo sforzo.

Il maggiordomo ha utilizzato un triciclo per trasportare le valigie ed è stato molto gentile. Durante l'attesa del check-in sono state servite anche delle torte floreali. Anche il cibo della nonna Wen è molto di nostro gradimento. Il riscaldamento della stanza era molto confortevole! La donna delle pulizie deve fare di meglio. Abbiamo messo le tazze usate accanto al lavandino, ma la donna non le ha pulite. Il giorno prima del check-out, ci siamo recati alla reception e abbiamo comunicato che avremmo avuto bisogno di un risciò per portare fuori i bagagli alle 7:30 del mattino successivo. Il signore alla reception ci ha chiesto di contattare noi stessi la governante. Gli abbiamo detto che non avevamo un numero di cellulare cinese e gli abbiamo chiesto se poteva aiutarci a contattarlo. Ha detto: ”Lascia che ti prenda nota”, poi ha indicato il numero di telefono e ha detto: ”Dovresti contattare tu stesso la governante”. 😅Alla fine, abbiamo chiesto al nostro autista di contattare la governante.

Alloggi molto unici nel centro della città antica di Lijiang. Questo hotel ha bellissimi cani e gatti di animali domestici. Abbiamo incontrato anche un paio di parrucche molto divertenti con un comando di intrattenimento della lingua nativa. Il curiosamente eclectic decor è stato aggiunto anche al fascino. Se si sta cercando negozi e ristoranti senza fine, questo è un grande luogo di soggiorno. Il mercato tradizionale vicino a Zhongyi con il suo mercato notturno molto occupato e pieno di notte offre un gran numero di stalle alimentari per i visitatori di cibo. Il punto negativo è che veicoli come le auto o gli scooter non sono ammessi sulle strade strette della città antica, che per noi significavano un cammino di dieci minuti per raggiungere le strade circostanti per catturare autobus e taxi verso gli attrazioni commerciali o turistiche esterne. Ma in generale questo è un grande posto per rimanere se siete ragionevolmente mobili. Vorrei aggiungere che l'ospite è stato incredibilmente ospite nel garantire che le nostre esigenze siano soddisfatte e nel aiutarci a organizzare un trasferimento alla fine del nostro soggiorno.

È difficile scegliere una casa vacanze a Lijiang. Ho scelto questa. È molto vicina a Mufu e al mercato di Zhongyi. Il cancello non è completamente affacciato sulla strada. È un po' in mezzo al vicolo. È riservata e non rumorosa. Ci vuole solo 1 minuto a piedi per raggiungere Mufu e 5 minuti per il mercato di Zhongyi. Ci sono molti piatti deliziosi in giro. Siamo rimasti per 3 giorni consecutivi. Il proprietario del negozio è stato molto accogliente. Ho aggiunto WeChat e li ho trattati come se fossero di famiglia. Abbiamo usato una piccola auto per spedire i bagagli sulla strada principale all'andata e al ritorno. Era troppo faticoso trascinare i bagagli per strada nella città antica. I noodles di riso ”cross-bridge” consigliati dal proprietario del negozio erano davvero deliziosi. Ho mangiato un'altra celebrità di Internet, ma non era deliziosa come quella consigliata. Penso sia meglio scegliere una locanda vicino alla strada per un facile accesso. Penso che il mercato di Zhongyi sia più divertente per mangiare e passeggiare rispetto ai negozi della città antica, ahah!

I appreciated the convenient location and service, but the misleading tour arrangements, unexpected extra charges, and poor coordination made my overall stay frustrating and disappointing. Location: The hotel is in the southern part of the Old Town, which has fewer crowds than other areas. It’s quieter, still beautiful, and easily accessible. Service: The hotel offers one complimentary train/airport pickup if arranged in advance (for 3 night stay). The staff helped carry my luggage from the South Gate (cars can’t enter the Old Town) and provided welcome fruit upon request. Breakfast was as described, though the noodles were undercooked. The staff were responsive and helped me book tickets, including a trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain—but this is where things went wrong. Initially, the hotel staff quoted me a reasonable price that matched my research and said the schedule was flexible, I could spend as much time as I like. When I went to book, they suddenly told me I needed to pay about 200 RMB more because I was a foreigner—something I knew wasn’t true from my experience in other cities. They also said lunch was mandatory. I was short on time and wanted convenience, so I accepted the extra charges. Although I was told that jackets, oxygen bottles, and water would be provided, the driver took me and other Chinese tourists to a store to buy additional oxygen and energy drinks at four times the normal price. There I was told the “free” oxygen bottle was too small—information the hotel hadn’t mentioned. I bought one just in case but never needed it. I booked a sunrise tour with a 5 a.m. pickup, but we didn’t actually see sunrise at the mountain—partly due to weather, partly because the schedule wasn’t designed for it. The driver took me to Blue Moon Lake first, then the cable car, and the Impression of Lijiang show last. He kept saying I was short on time, so I needed to buy an additional ticket for battery car to get around and rushed through Blue Moon Lake without knowing how long the walk should take, only to end up waiting an hour at the cable car. After the show, we were taken to lunch, which had no menu—just a very basic hot pot shared with random strangers seated at the same table. The driver texted me to hurry up because other passengers were waiting and even told me that they didn’t pay for lunch because they knew it wasn’t good. That upset me even more. Overall, I felt rushed, overcharged, and misled, and the whole experience made the trip far less enjoyable. Amenities: The amenities were as described, but there was no daily housekeeping or towel replacement.
