Malesia: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Penang

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel solo per una notte durante una tappa del nostro viaggio, ma l’esperienza è stata decisamente positiva. La struttura è moderna, curata nei dettagli e in ottima posizione, a pochi passi dal centro città. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e dotate di letti molto comodi, ideali per un riposo rigenerante. Il vero punto forte, però, è la piscina panoramica sospesa all’ultimo piano, con fondo trasparente: un effetto scenografico davvero sorprendente che regala una vista spettacolare sulla città, soprattutto al tramonto. Un soggiorno breve ma assolutamente consigliato, soprattutto per chi cerca comfort, pulizia e una location centrale con un tocco di originalità in più.

L'appartamento a 22 Macalisterz è un grande luogo di soggiorno. Ha molte attrazioni, ad esempio una splendida piscina, palestra e giardino. Situato in posizione centrale vicino a ristoranti, centro di cucina, caffè e musei. L'appartamento era moderno e pulito.

Good location. Next to Gama mall which u can get basics such as water, fruits, etc. Walking distance to most famous food places and interests. Can grab to Gurney if u want a higher class mall.

One of the things our family especially appreciated was the kids’ playroom ,it was clean, well-equipped, and kept our little one happily entertained. It made our stay even more relaxing knowing there was a safe and fun space for children. The overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting Penang.

Hotel is super clean and modern. Came with kitchen and microwave and dining table. Shower pressure was good and had hot water. The pool on the 36th floor whilst not huge, is very nice and refreshing and offers incredible views. It can get a tad crowded at times but its plenty big to enjoy. Check in was smooth, but the staff that check you in are not the staff that will help you with things you need. Your key card will have a phone number that you call when you need something. A bit confusing. Theres a shop for snacks and drinks in the lobby and the hotel is in a fantastic location near many hawkers, shops and sights. Theres free parking as well. Its one of the tallest buildings in the city so its easy to find. I’d definitely stay here again next time i’m in Penang.

Ottimo ubicazione, grandi viste marine con accesso alla spiaggia. Benvenuto personale sempre disponibile per aiutare. Condizionato al mercato alimentare Viva e un negozio di comodità situato sul piano terra. La vista della piscina è magnifica e ben mantenuta ”l'acqua è un po' fredda, come è principalmente ombreggiata”. Acqua filtrata nella vostra stanza e camere molto grandi confortevoli. Fate una scelta eccellente.

I just stayed for one night. Which was enough for me. Be aware this is not part of the official Rainbow Resort Hotel. Upon seeing my confirmation, the receptionist told me my room was an Airbnb. The building is a hotel as well private rooms that are rented out. The room itself was very spacious, 70 sqm with one bedroom and a living space. It had obviously been repainted recently (it smelt a fresh paint) so the walls were clean. Air conditioning and basic amenities were provided. The building itself, has seen a lot of wear and tear. If you’re on a budget and want a spacious room it will meet your needs. For the price I think it’s quite reasonable if you’re there for a short stay. The hotel is next to a beach, and a swimming pool downstairs. There a few restaurants across the road.

Great hospitality and service throughout my stay in Penang Amari Spice Hotel. Upon arrival, the reception team kindly upgraded me to a Premier King room without any request, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant scent—everything was excellent. I would like to express my utmost appreciation to the midnight team on 21/03/2026. During our stay, my friend suddenly fell seriously ill during midnight . We attempted to call emergency services (999), but unfortunately were unable to get through to the nearby general hospital immediately. The situation was critical, and waiting another 10–20 minutes could have put my friend’s life at risk. Thankfully, the Penang Amari hotel team acted swiftly and professionally. They followed up with us, and the female manager along with the guy management team arrived promptly to assess the situation. They provided immediate support and helped arrange transportation to the nearest hospital, ensuring we arrived within 10 minutes. Thanks to their quick response and care, my friend’s life was saved. And even after check out they still texting us to concern on the guest safety. We are deeply grateful for their kindness, efficiency, and dedication during such a critical moment. Ho prenotato un soggiorno di 3 notti, il check-in è stato piacevole e tempestivo. Una volta raggiunta la stanza, il water era intasato, il vetro del bagno era ammuffito. Il resto della stanza era ok ma c'era un odore di odore proveniente dalla moquette. La TV era come un modello obsoleto e la ricezione era orribile e poco chiara, cosa che non otteniamo al giorno d'oggi se non negli anni '80 o '90. La colazione era davvero semplice, dovresti saltarla e non sembra quella di un hotel. Ho fatto il check-out anticipato di un giorno e ho prenotato un altro hotel perché non mi sento bene.

Our favourite hotel in Penang. Kids like the swimming pool so much, especially the slides . The hotel provides cold drinks at the swimming pool. The beverage is refreshing. Room is good, with good view. They serve breakfast in buffet style. Scrumptious. The staffs are polite.
