Maldive: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Atollo Baa

If you’re planning a trip to the Maldives—especially if you’re seeking a local island experience with genuine warmth and unforgettable hospitality—look no further than Baa Sand Hotel on Kudarikilu Island. After a memorable first visit to Fulidhoo and Thinadhoo in 2023, I returned this year with my family. Our choice of Kudarikilu started with a glowing review I read about Baa Sand. I contacted Ali, the hotel manager, via WhatsApp and he kindly gave us a live video tour of the rooms, pool, and rooftop terrace. Even in the dark, we could feel the welcoming atmosphere—and we knew we had found our place. Since our flight arrived on a Friday night (a weekend day in the Maldives when public transport doesn’t operate), Ali arranged everything: a great-value transit hotel in Malé, airport pickup, and speedboat transfer the next day. Considering we booked just days before departure, his help was invaluable. Upon arrival, we were welcomed at the jetty by the entire team—it felt like a homecoming. Hasan gave us a tour of the island, helping us settle in instantly. What made this trip even more meaningful was bringing my elderly mother, who has long dreamed of seeing the Maldives. She doesn’t speak English and has health conditions, but Ali and his team ensured she was incredibly well cared for. One night, my mother struggled to sleep due to missing her regular medication. When this triggered a heart issue, Ali personally took her to the island hospital. The staff were ready upon arrival, and Ali stayed with her, arranged the consultation, picked up the medicine, and covered the cost until we settled it at checkout. Though they couldn’t speak the same language, the kindness they shared needed no translation. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained—modern, spotless rooms with strong showers, large safes, comfortable beds, and daily beach towel service. They’re even preparing to open a spa soon. Kudarikilu is tranquil and welcoming. Locals greet you with genuine smiles, and wildlife is everywhere—from hatchling sea turtles and reef sharks to fruit bats and colorful birds. The hotel’s parrots, Bii and Boo, and the receptionist’s adorable bird, Shyy, brought extra charm to our stay. The restaurant just across the road was another highlight. The manager was always warm, our table was set with care, and the local chili paste is a must-try for spice lovers. Prices were very reasonable, and the food quality exceeded that of neighboring islands. Plans to expand the menu with a new chef are in the works too. There are also several supermarkets nearby for essentials at local prices. In short, our stay at Baa Sand was extraordinary. The people made all the difference—Ali, Hasan, the receptionist, and the restaurant manager treated us like family. Even after a short stay, we left with full hearts and warm memories. Сегодня выехала из отеля и сразу пишу по свежей памяти. Сразу скажу главное- Расположение отеля очень удачное, свежий соленый воздух доносится  в открытое окно по утрам и вечерам. Отель стоит прям на пристани, где все лодки-это красиво. Вечером приплывают акулы. Их можно покормить рыбой.  Внутри: номера большие, новые и все есть. Убирают каждый день, вода в достатке питьевая. Полотенца для пляжа в изобилии. В полуденный зной можно остаться в тени деревьев на берегу возле номера. Лежаки, зонтики, столы - все есть. Снорклинг и сапы -  лучшее место для этого. Именно где находится этот отель.  Персонал: добрые, отзывчивые, эмпатичные ребята и девушки.  Домашний риф хороший: дельфины, черепахи, манты, стаи рыб. Я все это видела лично.  До бикини пляжа можно дойти по берегу 5 мин. Можно по улицам - 10 мин. Завтраки питательные.  Помогали организовать все морские экскурсии и рыбалку. Оказывали всяческую поддержку и внимание.  Адам - управляющий. Всегда готов поговорить и помочь.  Особый привет Юсуфу🤍Без него познание острова и жизни местных было бы скудным. Каждый день он делал все возможное, чтобы я наслаждалась. Невероятные ощущения.  Я вернусь, обязательно. И в этот отель.  Есть на острове и ближе к бикини пляжу отели, но в них вы не услышите прибой и не увидите восходы солнца из-за расположения. Да и находятся отели на улицах - это душно) Если вы выбираете где остановится-берите этот отель. Рекомендую!

Un resort assolutamente fantastico con personale molto disponibile e strutture meravigliose. Ho adorato il mio soggiorno lì. L'unico aspetto negativo è che dovevi pagare prezzi altissimi per tutto. Il prezzo del resort da solo è davvero caro e dovrebbero aggiungere alcuni degli sport acquatici a quella spesa. Non tutti vogliono o possono permettersi) il tutto incluso, quindi alcuni degli sport acquatici dovrebbero essere inclusi per tutti. Kayak, paddle board ecc. dovrebbero essere ”gratuiti” per ogni ospite.   Non posso davvero lamentarmi di nient'altro, era bellissimo e tranquillo ed è un ottimo resort in cui andare! Hanno anche comunicato con gli idrovolanti e hanno reso super facile raggiungere l'aeroporto e l'isola. Grazie!

🌴 Recensione: Dreamland Maldives (Stayed July 7 –11, 2025) 🌴 È appena tornato da un sorprendente 4-night soggiorno a Dreamland Maldives, e in generale siamo stati davvero impressionati soprattutto se amate la vita marina e l'ambiente pacifica. 🐠 Snorkeling & Escursioni – Absolutamente vale la pena! La casa di raffreddamento intorno all’isola è piena di vita.Abbiamo visto gli squali, i cuccioli e anche le tartarughe marine che snorkevano vicino alla costa. Le nostre escursioni preferite sono state: • Un viaggio a Hanifaru Bay per vedere i raggi maestosi manta. • A tour di squalo intorno al rief del Dreamland eccitante e ben organizzato. 🍴 Alimento – Delizioso e meglio di quanto previsto Abbiamo scelto il pacchetto completo del consiglio (3 pasti al giorno), e i pasti a buffet erano costantemente buoni. Ogni giorno, offre una varietà di piatti di carne bovina, suina, pollo e pesce, insieme a opzioni internazionali rotanti. Ci ha sorpreso piacevolmente di trovare occasionalmente cibo thailandese inclusi come Tom Yum Chicken Suppo e Thai Fish Cakes (Tod Mun Pla) sia autentico che aromatico. 💧 Nota – Full Board does not include water L'acqua non è ancora inclusa nel consiglio intero. • A 1.5L costo bottiglia circa $3.50 USD, che aggiunge in più giorni. • Se preferite non preoccuparti per le tariffe di bevanda extra, si consiglia di andare al pacchetto All-Inclusive invece. 🌧️ Tipo meteo – Sii cauto nel mese di luglio Il giorno della partenza, una tempesta ha ritardato il nostro aereo e abbiamo perso il nostro volo internazionale. Se viaggiate in luglio (sestagno di monsone), pianificare un tempo di buffer extra o rimanere una notte vicino all'aeroporto prima del vostro volo fuori. Il Dreamland offre una zona rilassante e naturale con un grande cibo snorkeling e delizioso. Ci ritroveremo felicemente, ma la prossima volta, con tutti i piani di viaggio e flessibili durante la stagione delle piogge!

Communication with booking department was bad, it was hard to get information about transfers, they didn't answer half of my messages. The boat to the island was delayed for more than 1 hour but I wasn't informed about it. Timing of the speedboat is not the best as it's public transport mainly used by locals, the boat departs from the island about 7.30 am. The staff at the reception are friendly and trying to help but sometimes there are some misunderstandings. Check in was fast and smooth but no information was given at all. Everything is in another building - Swarn. I didn't feel very safe walking around after sunset as this building is in the middle of nowhere.. The island is beautiful but full of construction. The bathroom is tiny and there is absolutely no place to put wet towels and swimsuits. The hotel building is next to a very noisy construction, there were some works in the building itself. I was given a room with the sea view which is nice but also opposite the elevator which produces loud sounds every time someone presses any button on any floor. Ha avuto una buona vacanza a bella Westin.La distanza di 45 minuti dall'aeroporto di Marea è corretta. Il servizio di ricezione e spedizione dell'hotel è molto attento.La nostra ordinazione include la colazione e la cena, una delle quali può essere prenotato nel ristorante giapponese. Il buffet è ricco e può gustare cibo in diversi paesi.A causa del vento e delle onde, non posso partecipare a attività marine come la piastra di ruggine, ma i coach hanno organizzato una fiera di volleyball nella piscina.Il subacqueo può vedere alcuni 🪸 e pesce tropicale 🐠. Le strutture della stanza sono senza provocazioni.Il più impressionante è l'entusiasmo del personale, sia che sia il benvenuto e il saluto della fila del porto, sia il saluto nel ristorante. We’ve travelled to many places around the world and stayed in countless hotels and resorts — some even more expensive than this — but Vakkaru is truly the BEST experience we’ve ever had. Baa Atoll is already one of the world’s most pristine ecological reserves, and the resort’s blue holes and sandbanks are simply addictive. We could visit them several times a day and still never get enough. At any moment, you’ll find different kinds of fish swimming freely around you. Beyond the beauty and the facilities, what truly makes Vakkaru unforgettable is the people. Our butler Myat, the sommelier, and our roomboy Mohamond all went above and beyond, offering the warmest, most thoughtful care throughout our stay. Their kindness made all the difference. It’s really hard for us to leave. We will definitely be back — and without a doubt, we’ll choose Vakkaru again.

Il Royal Island Resort è stato il primo a venire alle Maldive e è rimasto molto soddisfatto! Il trasferimento all'isola è stato un idroplano e una barca (grazie per l'hotel che non ha dovuto aspettare fino al pranzo del volo interno). Il ritorno è stato gratuito, per il quale ringrazio di avervi fatto un favore. Abbiamo preso il sole della villa, e la nostra casa è stata super successo - lontano dal piatto (in quelli più vicini al piatto - non è molto conveniente nuotare e non c'è riverbero) e vicino al bel riverbero. ”Il cibo è molto delizioso e una grande varietà, ogni giorno per pranzo e cena ci sono necessariamente piatti di cibo marino, frutta, dessert folli, crema di ghiaccio, tutto in abbondanza. ”Il personale è amichevole, il nostro cameriere al ristorante ha portato delle bevande al momento in cui avevamo già i pasti - vieni al tavolo, e l'acqua è già gettata in bicchieri e un po' di tè sul tavolo. Il capo del ristorante Ali si avvicinò costantemente a chiedere come mangiamo, se tutto ci piace. - La pulizia ogni giorno, la sostituzione di asciugamani ogni giorno, comprese le spiagge. Abbiamo un sacco di dove abbiamo visitato e ciò che abbiamo visto, e a nostro avviso è un resort molto degno, con un rapporto eccellente prezzo/qualità - raccomandato !!!

La spiaggia di Kiha è stata senza dubbio uno dei luoghi più incredibili che abbia mai avuto il piacere di rimanere. Il personale era fenomenale, sempre in mano per aiutare con tutto quello che ci serviva, e le viste dal balcone erano eccitanti. L'accento era, tuttavia, il cibo: una festa quotidiana di piatti deliziosi, preparati e serviti da un team eccezionale di cuochi e di aspettatori. Sono ansioso di tornare presto, soprattutto per la stagione dei Manta Rays!

I'm truly overjoyed! The service at this hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the accommodation is exceptionally comfortable! What's more, every single staff member is so warm and considerate, making me feel incredibly cared for. The food here is not only incredibly affordable but also features far superior ingredients compared to what I've had in the city. What's more, the shisha is a steal at just $5.08, allowing you to savor it by the poolside in utter relaxation.
