Hotel was fine. Bed was not very comfortable and pillows were pretty soft with very little firmness. Room had a full kitchen with fridge. Unfortunately, the dumpsters that were located just behind the building were emptied around 2:30am Thursday morning and were incredibly loud. I was on the 5th floor and it woke me up and felt like it lasted for 30 minutes as the trash truck picked up, emptied, and slammed them back on the ground (probably 5 dumpsters). I wouldn’t recommend staying here just for that reason. Trash can in the kitchen had trash in it when I checked in so I question overall cleanliness. Also was not a fan of the pin pad to enter the room (and building after hours). About 2 blocks from Broadway so a very walkable distance.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. If you are staying in Johnson City, most definitely stay at the Carnegie!

Questo è un buon posto e una grande stanza. Ma non ci sono cose fornite. (ad esempio, la spazzatura, la pasta, le mutandine e il vestito). Anche io mi sento strano che non abbia una cortina di doccia nel bagno causato rende il pavimento bagnato dopo la doccia!

Read Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. The lobby is classic and our Manor room was well appointed. We encountered two problems though. The front desk clerk was very short with us at checkin and seemed annoyed to answer our questions about valet parking. But, most importantly, our room was so very noisy at night. The walls are paper thin and we heard every conversation in the neighboring room. Also, the doors in our hallway closed with a loud bang every time a guest closed their door. It was one of the worst nights of sleep we have ever encountered in a hotel. At checkout the clerk did not greet us except to ask if we wanted our receipt printed or emailed. No “How was your stay?” was asked. We chose not to complain to her at checkout as she didn’t seemed concerned about us as guests.

Air wasn't working in one room, and it took most of the night to switch rooms. There was an event during which a physical domestic dispute took place. My kids, 18 to 23, witnessed the bloody mess. We booked 4 rooms for my husband and me and my 4 adult children; hotel seemed frustrated that my children had their own rooms. They're grown. The hotel was getting paid for 4 rooms, plus they had my card for incidentals. I don't see the problem. But... the location was walkable to the sights. It was a decent hotel. The price was great for the quality.

La stanza che ho prenotato non era quello che ho ricevuto al check-in. Ho pagato per 2 letti di dimensioni regina, ma ho ricevuto 1 regina e un letto da divano. Il desk front mi ha informato che erano fuori da 2 letti regina e a volte applicazioni di terze parti caricano informazioni inesatti. Il recupero del servizio non è stato il migliore. I crediti erano offerte, ma non riflette le differenze di prezzo tra i due tipi di camera. Non menzionare che la decisione è stata fatta puramente perché mi è stato promesso 2 letti regina. In generale, l'hotel era in ordine, solo che non era quello che pensavo.

EEura pinkThe motel is very close to the center so it is very easy and comfortable to get there. The good thing was that it is in a gated property so at least it feels safe. I reserved a room for three people but they provided just two sets of towels. The room had the basic. TV, no fridge. The main problem I had was the clean. The room did not feel clean at all. The beds were changed, but under the bed the dust and dirt was disgusting. The floor probably has not been clean from a very long time and there was a condom wrap open under the bed. The walls and doors had spots all over . Overpriced for what you get.

La stanza era vecchia e antiquata, che profumava terribile. Non commettere lo stesso errore che ho fatto.

A lot of homeless and vagrants seem to hang around this area. Noticed they were close to vehicles but didn't see any broken glass when I departed.
