Overall Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5) Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at Citadines Tanjung Tokong. The check-in process at Level 2 was smooth and fast, with excellent service from all staff members. No deposit was required, which made the process even more convenient. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were soft and provided a good night’s sleep. The room was well-equipped with two air-conditioning units (bedroom and kitchen area), Smart TV, ironing facilities, refrigerator, work desk, dining table and sufficient power outlets. The bathroom was spotless with strong water pressure and consistent hot and cold water temperature. Toiletries and towels were fully provided. Hotel facilities were great. The swimming pool on Level 15 offers a nice city and bay view. A gym, washing machines, vending machines and towels are also available. WiFi speed was fast and suitable for work purposes. Elevators were fast, clean and comfortable. Minor downsides include some noise from traffic and ambulance sirens, as well as a slightly slow automated parking system during peak hours. The location is very convenient with easy access to food and nearby stores such as 99 Speedmart, Lotus’s and Happy Mart. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money under RM500. Very spacious and good location with a mall opposite the street and very convenient public bus that goes into town and beach area. Recommend to stay.

Sebbene le foto e la realtà fossero diverse, le camere senza finestre erano comunque adeguate per un soggiorno confortevole. Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti in una camera doppia deluxe al livello 4 e in una camera doppia al livello 3, tutte con bagno privato. A causa della mancanza di ventole di scarico e finestre, i bagni interni possono causare umidità e cattivo odore, ma per noi andava bene. Una guesthouse che accetta animali domestici (molti dei nostri vicini avevano cani, ma erano molto silenziosi e ben gestiti). Ora gestita da 3 addetti al servizio che fanno tutto. Una macchina per videogiochi retrò ma funzionante al piano terra è stata una gioia per i miei figli. Lavanderia e asciugatrice gratuite e un semplice angolo fitness sono servizi utili. Il punto forte di questa guesthouse è in realtà la posizione: a pochi passi, ci sono numerosi punti vendita di dim sum, cibo da strada notturno, un negozio di noodles, una panetteria e uno sports bar proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Ci tornerò, in qualsiasi momento, per la mia prossima visita.

Love the stay and staffs are all friendly! Room was so spacious! Will definitely come back for a stay. Just a small drawback which was the noise for my second morning, I complained about it and hotel mentioned was the mall beside and they can’t do anything plus it was a Sunday! Our friends who were staying in higher floor (30+) didn’t hear that, our floor located at 20 stg so maybe it depends on luck?

Excellent Location The hotel is very centrally located in George Town, making it easy to walk to popular attractions, food stalls, shopping malls (Komtar, 1st Avenue), and places like Hin Bus Depot. For food lovers, there are many local eateries, spas, and convenience stores nearby. 2. New & Attractive Design The property feels modern and fresh; many reviewers liked the mix of heritage facade with clean, contemporary interiors. Rooms are well decorated and generally clean. Beds, pillows, and linen get positive marks. 3. Amenities & Conveniences There’s a rooftop (or on-roof) pool (though small) and a gym. These provide nice options to unwind. Free‐flow water dispensers in hallways, complimentary coffee/tea and snacks in the lobby are much appreciated. The hotel is fairly clean, and staff are generally friendly & helpful.

Nice modern hotel though it has aged with visible wear and tear in some areas and corners. The bathroom door lock doesn't work as the hinge is faulty, but not a big issue for us couple. Excellent location with the famous cecil street morning market just oposite its premise. Hotel provides free coffee and tea at lobby level, they also provide shuttle service to places of interest upon request through the front desk staff. Overall we enjoyed our 5 nights stay here.

9박이라서 중간에 숙박지를 변경하고 싶어서 트립닷컴에 중재 요청을 했으나 호스트릐 거절로 연박함. 중간에 호스트에게 요청하여 청소를 한번 할수 있었다. 침대보와 베개, 타롤 교환이 모두 유료이며 생수 제공이 없다. 고가도로 주변이여서 밤에 시끄럽다. 호스트의 적극적인 개선 대책이 필요하다.

Self drive, easy to locate the apartment. Safe as there a friendly and efficient security not only safe guard the entrance of property but he also taking care of checking-in and out and also assist to manage any simple enquires. Nearby have 7-11 and seafood restaurant. Nearby malls too. Downside of the property is noisy, night time can hear shouting and screaming kids, inide unit need some refurbish. Love the view from the balcony, can see Penang bridge and beautiful sunrise. Afterall, for the price we paid, we should not ask for much, it is still a money for value stay.

Self check in. Instructions and key box code were sent by email. No issues. Room was basic but clean. Stairs to loft bed have no railing so your balance has to be okay. What I liked: it’s very near the beach (but be careful going down the steep steps with a rusting and questionable guardrail). And it’s also a minute’s walk from the nearby food place with many affordable options for dinner. Not far from the bus stop. Penang’s bus services are not bad. What I didn’t like: the positions of the room lighting are poor, including the bathroom where the opaque shower curtain blocks the bathroom light, and the loft where the bare bulb is right above your head and glows even when off. I unscrewed the bulb in order to stop that. Also, not many breakfast options nearby. Music from a nearby nightspot could be heard along with some firecracker type noises some nights, but these died down by about 10pm so not a problem for me. In all, I would rate this place a solid 4/5 and I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

It's good. Much better than Ixora or Pearl View, and not that much more expensive too. The unit is spacious and very well equipped. I'm a big fan of the body wash, it's not the cheap ones. The luxury does shine through. Mine only less than ideal experience is with the cleanliness of the unit. Maybe it's a less-booked room type and the staff don't regularly re-clean a vacant room, there are some dusty areas within the unit. Outside the unit, there are lots of cobwebs too. I'd recommend a more consistent cleaning schedule, but it's not that much of a problem. My other gripe is my keycard suddenly stopped working when I returned to the unit on the second day. Took around 10 minutes to bring a replacement up to me, no explanation on why I was locked out too. Small issue but quite annoying at 11pm. Otherwise, I really recommend this hotel, especially the two bedroom executive or premier. Washing machine in the unit is incredibly convenient. I love the peach-scented towels. Didn't make use of the kitchen or living room, but I imagine it'd be nice to have for a bigger crowd.
