Penang, Malesia: hotel pet friendly

Just stayed at the new Capri by Fraser Penang and loved it. The design is gorgeous, especially the huge arched window in the room facing the city roofs and the beautiful terrazzo bathroom. The location is perfect and right in town. You can easily walk to three malls (Gama, Prangin Mall, 1st Avenue), nearby convenience stores, local food, cafes, and restaurants. There is ongoing LRT construction opposite the hotel (slated for 2030 or later), but it didn't affect the stay. Great facilities (pool, gym, sauna) and I loved the floor water refill stations with the eco-friendly glass bottles provided in the room. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Recommended for anyone visiting Penang who wants a fresh, modern, and highly convenient place to stay.

Sebbene le foto e la realtà fossero diverse, le camere senza finestre erano comunque adeguate per un soggiorno confortevole. Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti in una camera doppia deluxe al livello 4 e in una camera doppia al livello 3, tutte con bagno privato. A causa della mancanza di ventole di scarico e finestre, i bagni interni possono causare umidità e cattivo odore, ma per noi andava bene. Una guesthouse che accetta animali domestici (molti dei nostri vicini avevano cani, ma erano molto silenziosi e ben gestiti). Ora gestita da 3 addetti al servizio che fanno tutto. Una macchina per videogiochi retrò ma funzionante al piano terra è stata una gioia per i miei figli. Lavanderia e asciugatrice gratuite e un semplice angolo fitness sono servizi utili. Il punto forte di questa guesthouse è in realtà la posizione: a pochi passi, ci sono numerosi punti vendita di dim sum, cibo da strada notturno, un negozio di noodles, una panetteria e uno sports bar proprio dall'altra parte della strada. Ci tornerò, in qualsiasi momento, per la mia prossima visita.

Era la prima volta che soggiornavo nella zona di Tanjung Tokong. L'hotel era abbastanza facile da trovare, ma a causa delle dimensioni della nostra auto, non siamo riusciti a usare il parcheggio con ascensore automatico. La camera era spaziosa e pulita! Ho apprezzato molto la disposizione e i servizi offerti all'interno. Ho trascorso una notte di riposo meraviglioso. Non ho utilizzato i servizi igienici, ma tutto il resto era bello. Il personale era cordiale ed efficiente. Un piccolo appunto: nonostante fosse disponibile un distributore d'acqua, non era disponibile l'opzione acqua calda. Nel complesso, tornerò se i prezzi degli hotel in città saranno alti.

Strategic location, easy access to any hotspot especially local market with famous food court cecil market. Always love to stay in citadines hotel whenever i was in Penang, either citadines Cecil or citadines prai, always my first choice

We arrived at about 11am and managed to check in immediately which was a pleasant surprise! The room was really spacious and we loved that there is a filtered water tap within the room so we could refill our bottles easily and save money on buying bottled water. The only bummer was that on our second day, there was a power shutdown from 10am to 2:30pm (which they informed us beforehand), but at the same time, the lifts were having maintenance (not informed on this) and we were stuck at our level (20 floors up) for about 20 to 30 mins. We were not able to take the stairs down as well which was abit frustrating as we were running late. So they could have better planned or better coordinated the schedules for the maintenance work. But other than that, the rooms were really clean and the pool and gym were nice as well. The breakfast didn’t have many selection but it was decent. We loved that the hotel was just opposite the esplanade park too! Will stay here again!

Found this gem of a place by accident. With many hotels increasing rates during the festive season I managed to book a room here for a price I thought was way below the average for a 3 room unit. Of course my expectations were not much BUT when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised - what I say a “bang for your buck” - it was near one of the busiest shopping complexes and close to highways which was a breeze until u hit town (obviously). My room even had a sea view. It’s tucked away outside the busy streets and to me it gave me the extra quietness and calm I needed after a long drive. I hit the pool and tried the gym - not a big gym but “it’s all there”. This is what I noticed : bus station and airport was in my opinion nearby (no more than a 20min grab ride) In short you can’t fault this property for the price you’re paying. I will be back! Tq for making the stay memorable.

Ho prenotato una camera familiare con 2 camere per 2 anziani e 1 adulto e 1 bambino. La posizione dell'hotel è ragionevole in quanto c'è un centro commerciale (anche se datato) con supermercato e panetteria Four Leaves. L'hotel sembra nuovo ma gli interni sembravano usurati e avrebbero potuto essere gestiti meglio. Ci hanno dato l'ultima camera al piano 2 in quello che sembrava un labirinto di lunghi corridoi. C'è stata un'interruzione di corrente il primo pomeriggio, l'ascensore non funzionava e abbiamo dovuto evacuare attraverso le scale perché la stanza era troppo soffocante per essere confortevole. Abbiamo chiesto una camera sostitutiva e ci è stato detto che avrebbero controllato per noi. Con nostra delusione ci hanno detto che non c'erano altre camere disponibili più vicine. Se si prenota per anziani e bambini, procedere con cautela a meno che non siano disposti a ospitarvi una camera nella hall. La camera aveva uno strano odore e non ci siamo sentiti bene durante il soggiorno. Pantofole della camera con macchie e federa del cuscino con macchie di sangue. Mi sarei aspettato che Citadines facesse di meglio.

Il proprietario di proprietà dirà cinese e si occuperà di soggiorno.L'ambiente è buono, non c'è differenza tra foto pubblicitarie, lavanderia calda, pressione idrica è abbastanza, e il rapporto prezzo è molto alto.Non fornire dentifricio, ricorda di andare a comprare il negozio conveniente.
