Normandia, Francia: hotel pet friendly

Here's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant. Pros: - Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town. - Helpful staff - Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm - Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit) - Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub - Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags - Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces. Cons: - Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross. - Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in. - Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed. - Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high. - Parking spaces were limited. - Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from. - Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

If you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley. Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!! We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us. Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady. Just go. Dont hesitate.

Ho adorato questo hotel. Ho continuato a prenotarlo e ci sono rimasta per 3 notti consecutive. Così chic, così grazioso e perfetto. Estremamente pulito e ha persino una macchina Nesspresso e cialde decaffeinate. Avendo soggiornato in molti hotel in Europa, la maggior parte dell'aria condizionata non è molto potente. Le Carline è stata l'eccezione. L'aria condizionata era estremamente fredda e piacevole. Le camere sono molto ben isolate, quindi non si sente nulla di ciò che accade fuori. Ottimo per il riposo. Continuerò sicuramente a tornarci.

L'hotel ha svolto la sua funzione. L'arredamento è un po' datato. La doccia è spaventosa, ma accettabile. Il personale della reception è molto gentile e disponibile. Il cibo era accettabile.

酒店是一處私宅，地點位於小鎮中心，帶私家停車。步行去周圍景點非常方便。花園靜謐，內部裝飾精美，房間和浴室都很寬敞，帶陽台，衞生到位，儲物空間充足。主人夫婦及工作人員為人熱情，廚藝精湛，晚餐與早餐都非常精緻美味。適合情侶或小家庭度假小住。

La Dime hotel is so nice,great decoration,beautiful garden and delicious breakfast. Most of all the owner couple are kind and friendly. Will come back in the future.
