I had an amazing experience here. Upon arrival, I even received a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is brand new, and everything feels fresh and well maintained.
The owner is incredibly helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He’s always ready to answer questions or give advice.
He also runs his own travel agency, and through him, I visited Tashkurgan — definitely a trip worth taking and a highlight of my journey.
In short: an excellent stay with outstanding service. Highly recommended!

My family of 4 had the best stay at this hotel!
When we arrived, the staff stood by the door and greeted us warmly. As the weather fell to extreme lows during the period we were staying there, the heater was unable to keep the tents warm enough.As such, the staff graciously upgraded us to a family room inside the building. The view was absolutely stunning from the room. When the sky is clear, you can even see stars from their rooftop! The room itself was extremely clean and tidy, while the bathroom was very well equipped. The beds were large and extremely comfortable, and there was even a humidifier in the room which was perfect for the cold and dry weather.
The service of the staff was exceptional. My husband and son experienced altitude sickness upon our arrival at the hotel, and they took extremely great care of them, even cooking them a warm meal. They even provided us with snacks before we left for our day trip. On our last night, they invited us to have dinner together. The staff prepared a home-cooked meal which was very delicious. During the duration of our stay, the staff took exceptional care of us and made us feel at home. Even as we checked out, they gave us a farewell gift as a token of appreciation.
I highly recommend this hotel to all travellers! This was truly a great stay, and thank you to the staff who was committed to ensuring that my family had an amazing stay here!

It’s a great hotel. Once we arrived, Dai Shi Fu greeted us warmly and showed us to our hotel room. The room was modern, with Xiao Du voice assistant to control things like the curtain, which was nice. It was really spacious and everything is clean.
My only gripe is with the location. It’s just far from the “city central” like supermarket and malls. It was difficult trying to hail a ride. Although they have shuttle bus, but it arrives every 20-30min, which unfortunate I did not try. If you are ok with like 10min drive to get stuff, I think this place is amazing for the value.

L'ambiente, il servizio e le strutture sono tutti molto buoni. Anche la proprietaria è molto diligente e pulita. Ci sono armadietti. Consiglio questo posto quando si visita la contea di Tashkurgan. Ci sono anche molti posti dove mangiare nelle vicinanze. Ho dimenticato di scattare foto. Spero di avere di nuovo l'opportunità di visitare la contea di Tashkurgan.

L'edificio dell'hotel in sé è come un'attrazione turistica. Le camere sono quasi esattamente come nelle foto, con un arredamento semplice, elegante e pulito. Mi sono sentito molto a mio agio durante il mio soggiorno. Il servizio alla reception è stato eccellente e l'hotel ha un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Sicuramente sceglierò di nuovo questo hotel la prossima volta che visiterò Turpan.

龜茲別苑：一次意外中的意外驚喜
選擇龜茲別苑，對我來説，完全是計劃外的一次意外。而正因如此，這份驚喜才格外難忘。
最初是在攜程上刷到它的。説實話，當時翻着客人曬出的照片，我的第一反應是：有點土。不是那種精緻網紅店的土，而是帶着點鄉野氣息的不起眼。我本就是個對住宿環境挑剔的人，於是隨手劃了過去，繼續心安理得地住進了五星級酒店。
可緣分這東西，有時就藏在一次不經意的路過裏。
那天傍晚，我恰好從龜茲別苑門前經過，下意識瞥了一眼——咦？和照片上完全不一樣。院牆不高，卻透着一種古樸的親切，門廊下隱約可見綠植搖曳，空氣裏飄着某種安寧的氣息。我站在門口猶豫了不到三秒，當即做了一個有點“沖動”的決定：退掉當晚的五星級酒店，住進這家被我差點錯過的院子。
事實證明，這個沖動，是我整個旅途中最正確的決定之一。
入住的那一刻，驚喜就開始了。院子太有特色了——不是那種刻意做舊的設計，而是每一處角落都透着一股自然生長的味道。石子小路、木質迴廊、垂落的藤蔓，還有隨處擺放的老物件，讓人覺得時間在這裏慢了下來。走進房間，更是出乎意料：空間很大，佈置得很精緻，床品、衞浴、細節陳設，完全不輸五星級酒店。説實話，這種“外表低調、內裏有料”的反差感，比明晃晃的奢華更讓人心動。
更妙的是，這裏太適合拍照打卡了。隨便一個轉角、一面土牆、一個茶室都能拍出氛圍感十足的照片。到了晚上，酒店門口竟然還有現場表演，歌聲和樂聲在夜色裏飄得很遠。而院子裏面，專門設了一片露天區域，可以坐着喝東西、聊天。當氛圍燈一盞一盞亮起來，整個空間像是被温柔地鍍了一層金色，那種感覺，絕了。
我選了三樓的一個房間。門口擺着一張長椅，那便成了我此行最鍾愛的角落。夜裡，我就那麼懶懶地靠在長椅上，手裡捏着一瓶奶啤，望着遠處的天空發呆。那個方向，曾是鳩摩羅什的故鄉——一千六百多年前，那位偉大的譯經師從這裏走出。我喝一口奶啤，看一眼星空，腦海中什麼都可以想，什麼都可以不想，便覺得天地之間，衹剩下了愜意。
房間裏有空調，夜裡睡得踏實。早上酒店還提供早餐，算不上豐盛，但乾淨可口。
可真正讓我把這家店記在心底的，是這裏的人。
那天我在院子裏閑逛，碰見一位服務員小姐姐正站在廊下吃雪糕。我大概衹是下意識地多看了她一眼——絕對沒有別的意思，純粹就是覺得那根雪糕看着挺涼快。結果她大概注意到了我的目光，笑着問我：“你要嗎？我給你也買一根。”
我以為不過是人與人之間那種客套的寒暄，笑着擺了擺手。沒想到她真的轉身就去了小賣部，沒一會兒，一根冰涼的雪糕就塞到了我手裡。
説實話，一根雪糕不值什麼錢。但那種毫不設防、真心實意對人好的瞬間，讓我感動得不行。旅途中住過多少豪華酒店、享受過多少標準化服務，都比不上這樣一個小小的、帶着温度的善意。
所以你看，一個差點因為照片“土”就被我錯過的院子，最終卻成了這趟旅行最温暖的部分。龜茲別苑，不豪華，不高冷，但它有味道、有故事、有夜色裏的氛圍燈、有長椅上的奶啤和星空，還有一根讓人記很久的雪糕。
這意外中的驚喜，值了。

Assolutamente fantastico luogo per soggiornare, la colazione era splendida e la stanza era grande, pulita ogni giorno. Solo questione è che si dovrà aspettare l’ascensore per circa 5 minuti ogni volta, aspettare fino al primo piano per prenotare il didi. situato vicino a caricato di piatti vicini, negozi di comodità, un intero edificio di negozi elettronici e relativamente vicino ai hotspot turistici, 5-10min via didi.

Il B&B è di una bellezza mozzafiato, al pari dei più gettonati posti per il check-in online. L'arredamento unico e le ricche tradizioni locali lo rendono un luogo ideale per scattare foto senza uscire di casa. Il proprietario è cordiale e attento, si occupa del parcheggio e aiuta gli ospiti con i bagagli, facendoli sentire come a casa. Le camere sono pulite e ben attrezzate, ed è uno dei pochi B&B che offre anche il condizionatore. La colazione è abbondante e deliziosa, e c'è una cucina e una lavanderia in comune. È il miglior B&B in cui abbia mai soggiornato, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccezionale. Senza ulteriori indugi, ecco le foto.

ZzedtalibOne reason for choosing Wanda Moments was to see the views of the mountains from the rooftop but it was so so. The mountain view from the room window is awesome.
Another reason is for the Oxygen supply in the room but it was so confusing. We couldn’t understand what the staff is saying. We don’t understand why only one guest get the oxygen supply. The young guys at the reception were not helpful and were hesitant to go up to the room to assist us. Our stay was all in all hectic, going up and down to get assistance.
For tourists from out of China, be warned that the food serving is huge. Rice came in a huge portion, soup in a huge bowl. It was sad to see them go to waste. Perhaps the hotel can tailor the menu down to smaller portions.

From the moment we arrived, the staff’s hospitality and service were not just comparable to world-class 5-star hotels in many ways, they exceeded them. As a non-Chinese speaking guest, I was a little nervous at first, but the team went above and beyond to make me feel completely at ease. Their cheerful smiles and genuine warmth were so heartwarming. What touched me the most? They constantly checked on my fiancée, who is vegetarian, making sure she had wonderful options at every meal. Seeing that level of care for her meant the world to me. They even carried my heavy luggage to the room❤️
Activities (both paid and free):
They have horseback riding with the on-site coach – highly recommend (yes, it's a paid service). For free activities, there’s a giant swing (reminiscent of the one in Kalajun Grassland), archery, and the most beautiful, calm animals: two incredibly cute lambs, a cow, several horses, and the sweetest little dog who will greet you. If you’re nervous around animals, don’t worry – they are the chillest, calmest creatures and will only approach if you call them.
Food: 10/10. My fiancée said it was the best meal she had in all of Xinjiang. Cooked by the wonderful Ah Po and Ah Gong, every dish felt like a loving home-cooked meal made by grandparents. There’s also an adorable cafe hut (though we didn’t get coffee – we were too busy being in awe of everything around us).
Room standards: This is where they truly shine. Air conditioning, heater, soft comfy bed, overhead curtains to open or close for stargazing, fridge, hairdryer, lighted mirror, heated toilet – and spotlessly clean. We slept like a baby.
And finally… stargazing.
This is exactly why I chose this place. We stayed up until 3 AM, completely mesmerized by a sky full of stars like I’ve never seen before. I’ll let the photos I uploaded do the talking. 😁 (I have added the settings I used on iPhone to take the photos, bring a stand and on night mode:30s with exposure adjustment and ProRAW turned on)

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at ease. One gesture I’ll never forget — I was rushing for a tour and hadn’t managed to press my clothes. Though there’s a laundry room available, the owner personally helped me iron them, refusing any payment. That small act of kindness stayed with me.
We’ve stayed in many retreats claiming to offer luxury, but this place redefines what true luxury means. Here, you pay a 3-star rate and receive a 5-star experience in comfort, sincerity, and service. The rooms are cleaned daily with meticulous attention to detail — we were even touched to find our own tea and coffee sachets neatly arranged by housekeeping.
Meals were another highlight. The food has that unmistakable home-cooked feel — warm, nourishing, made with care. When they learned I don’t eat beef or mutton, the kitchen prepared special dishes just for me, without a fuss. That kind of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated.
And how could I forget Tian Tian — the gentle, lovable golden retriever who quietly added to the homey atmosphere. Her presence made the stay even more special, like having a sweet companion always nearby.
MuseNomad Retreat isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to truly rest. Of all the accommodations we’ve experienced across our travels, this one touched us the most. As our three nights came to a close, I felt a genuine sadness — a quiet wish that we could stay just a little longer.

In primo luogo, l’ospitalità era di gran lunga sorprendente. In quanto straniero che non può parlare cinese, ero un po’ nervoso prima, ma ogni membro del personale cercava di aiutarmi e di accogliermi con il cuore, che mi toccava profondamente. Vorrei ringraziare in particolare un membro del personale chiamato Yi, che era l'unica persona che poteva comunicare con me in inglese, e mi ha aiutato con tutto il resto durante il mio soggiorno. A causa della sua gentilezza, non mi sono mai sentita incomoda o isolata qui nonostante la barriera linguistica. Le darei sinceramente 10000/100!
La camera era molto pulita, accogliente e completamente attrezzata con tutto quello che avevo bisogno. Il letto era incredibilmente morbido e confortevole, e l’atmosfera tranquilla mi permetteva di riposare perfettamente ogni notte.
Un'altra cosa che mi piaceva è la varietà di attività offerte qui, tutto è stato sorprendente, cavalcare, deliziosi pasti di pota calda, e anche sessioni fotografiche professionali. E' stata la mia prima volta che cavalcoi, quindi mi sentivo un po' nervoso all'inizio, ma il personale mi prendeva cura di me e mi faceva sentire al sicuro e confortevole per tutta l'esperienza.

Yy3nch1ngWe booked the guest rooms, which are actually a “盲盒” concept where you get whichever room is available upon check-in. Luckily, we were upgraded to wooden cabins with two rooms each. Since I booked 3 rooms, they arranged 2 wooden cabins for us.
Each cabin came with two independent bedrooms with attached bathrooms, plus a shared living room. We absolutely loved it because we could gather and spend time together in the living room. We even had steamboat there one evening, which made the stay feel extra cozy, lovely, and convenient.
There was also a huge open area in front of the cabins, but unfortunately the wind during our stay was too strong for us to sit outside. In the evening, sheep were grazing right outside our unit. On good weather days, you can even see Sayram Lake and the snow mountains directly from the cabin, which was really beautiful.
The cabins are spread across a large area, so you do need to walk to your unit, but the pathways are properly paved and easy to walk on. Our cabin was about 200m from the car park.
Special shoutout to the staff, Hemu and Dan Ni Er, who were extremely helpful. They used their small transport buggy to help move our luggage during check-in and check-out. Since we were travelling with elderly family members who had difficulty walking, they also kindly gave them rides to and from the cabin, which we truly appreciated.
Highly recommended for those looking for a different and more memorable experience compared to a normal hotel stay.

KKatKKGDopo aver incontrato una cattiva esperienza con un ristorante del deserto a Dunhuang, eravamo un po' cauti con Dune quando la prenotammo, ma dopo aver comunicato con il manager di Dune via WeChat, ero più fiducioso, perché era molto gentile e utile. Il nostro volo è arrivato a Turpan la sera, e quando siamo arrivati a Dune è stato tardi. Il manager e un altro personale sono venuti all’ingresso della strada per accoglierci e aiutarci con il bagaglio, ci hanno portati direttamente alla nostra tenda e ci hanno aggiornati anche in una tenda più grande.
Siamo svegliati a questa bella dune di sabbia del deserto Kumtag, proprio davanti alla nostra tenda! Era così bella. Quando la stagione estiva cominciava, eravamo gli unici ospiti, ma il personale ci serviva con delizioso colazione e cena. Il cibo era delizioso e abbondante! Il manager e il personale erano molto attenti alle nostre richieste. Uno dei membri del personale ci ha aiutato a organizzare un guida/driver locale per portarci al deserto Kumtag per un eccitante giro ATV e slitta di sabbia. Ci siamo divertiti molto. Finalmente abbiamo assunto la stessa guida, un giovane Uygur piacevole e calmo per portarci a fare un giro di visibilità e ci siamo lasciati a Turpan.
Vorrei dire a chiunque stia cercando un vero e proprio spettacolo del deserto, per favore, venga a Dune, a Shahshan vicino a Turpan, invece di Dunhuang.

Food from the onsite restaurant was great and it felt homely. Beautiful landscape was just right at doorstep. If I could rate the service from the B&B more than 5 stars, I would certainly do it! Thank you so much for making my 那拉提 trip a smooth and pleasant one with all the assistance rendered!

UUtente ospiteShanshan è una piccola città e se si arriva qui, sarebbe visitare il deserto Kumtaq. Il deserto è 15-20 minuti dall'hotel, quindi la stazione ferroviaria Shanshanbei. Raccomando questo hotel a causa del servizio del personale del front desk, la signora Xiaoba, che va di sopra e di là per aiutare. Era responsabile della conversazione e organizzava una macchina per farci uscire, ha prenotato un taxi perche' non riuscivamo a trovare l'indirizzo del mercato notturno sulla nostra app DIDI. , ha fornito acqua extra e ha risposto alle domande con un sorriso. Questo è un nuovo hotel, quindi sembra pulito e fresco con un bagno intelligente. Anche hanno tende/ teppe, quindi se avete un bambino, questo è un benvenuto. Ho visto una stanza con spazzolino e tema della principessa Barbie. Il colazione ha molte opzioni cinesi e sono ben cucinati e deliziosi. Hanno una macchina per caffè. Rimarrei qui se dovessi rivedere. Kumtaq Desert vale la pena di visitare e il secondo minibus da golf/sightseeing vi conduce verso la fine e vi riporta alla seconda stazione. Le altre deserte che abbiamo visitato non hanno questo. Pequena città, grande cuore, grande servizio, persone sorprendenti! VA
