Era un albergo di lunga tradizione, ma sembra che sia stato rinnovato in alcuni punti. Il ristorante è bellissimo. Stile buffet. Dato che mio figlio era stanco, abbiamo cenato in camera, ma il ristorante era pieno e ci è voluto un bel po' mentre per parlare al telefono. La camera era una grande camera familiare e, per qualche motivo, poteva ospitare 4 adulti e c'erano due letti king size, quindi sono stato fortunato in modo diverso. Ci sono molti servizi, tra cui asciugamani da bagno spessi, asciugamani per il viso e asciugamani. C'era una vasca da bagno e i bambini potevano divertirsi facendo il bagno, ma ci volevano 30 minuti perché l'acqua diventasse calda. Era confortevole con due nuovi condizionatori installati.
Sono un giapponese che vive nelle Filippine per il secondo anno. Sebbene fosse un hotel di lunga data, sembra essere stato rinnovato ed è bellissimo. Bellissimo anche il ristorante.
Mio figlio si è stancato, quindi ho rinunciato a mangiare al ristorante e ho cenato in camera, ma ho dovuto aspettare più di un'ora perché non riuscivo a prendere il telefono. Scegli una tipologia di camera familiare per 2 adulti e 1 bambino (3 anni). Per qualche motivo, c'erano abbastanza servizi per 4 adulti, asciugamani da bagno spessi, asciugamani per il viso e asciugamani per 4 persone e 2 letti king size, quindi sono stato fortunato in un modo diverso. Anche se era poco profondo, c'era una vasca da bagno, così i bambini potevano divertirsi facendo il bagno. Tuttavia, ho aspettato più di 30 minuti affinché l'acqua diventasse calda. Era comodo con due nuovi condizionatori d'aria. Se vuoi mangiare a buon mercato, Foodpanda offre anche servizi di consegna. È bello uscire, ma i gas di scarico sono terribili. Ho pensato che fosse un ottimo affare in quanto il costo totale era di poco più di 10.000 yen con colazione a buffet inclusa, check-in dalle 14:00 al check-out alle 12:00.

Hotel location is perfect. Walking distance to People’s Park (5mins), Bangkerohan (7mins), San Pedro Cathedral and Osmena Park (15mins). Nearby Mercury drug store which opens until 10pm.
24/7 McDo and Greenwich. 5min drive to Roxas Night Market. May jeep na dumadaan sa tapat ng hotel but most of the jeepney drivers don’t know the Gov Duterte St. mas familiar sa kanila ang Ilustre St. then walk towards to hotel which is 2mins lang.
Lunch and dinner buffet is being offered, daming waiting.
Hotel is not recommended para sa maaarte. Luma na ang establishment at mahina ang toilet flush, no bidet. Provided ang pail and dipper.
Mahina din ang aircon but enough to make a room cool temperature.
No hair dryer and hand towel. Only body towel, soap and shampoo/conditioner are their toiletries.

È la nostra prima volta che soggiorniamo all'Hotel Mandaya, i miei figli lo amano, e il posto è piuttosto rilassante, il cibo è buono e il soggiorno è stato buono. Grazie, sicuramente visiterete di nuovo.

It has a beautiful garden. The food in the restaurant is nice. Seats are inside in a Filipino style room, outside you can enjoy the spacious lush garden while have lunch/dinner. The rooms are large, beds comfortable. It is a bit older but the Charme of this resort is stunning. There is a shuttle boat to beaches at Samal island. Short ride to malls, with grab no problem at all. The breakfast is solid. I would say this was my best stay in Davao.

The location is amazing, less than a minute walk to the mall next door. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable. Hotels also provide BOTH usb and usb-c charging ports, as well as universal plug sockets!
The negative thing is the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom, causing a musty smell all day long, especially if the bathroom door is left closed. We booked two rooms. Our second room was also not done till around 4:30pm, and only after repeated enquiries at the front desk.

Im a solo traveller. The Location is not really at the city but its very accessible. Just infront of the hotel is mcdo and opposite is jollibee. There is a lot of nearby stores and pharmacy and watsons too. Staff are accommodating and i feel safe and able to sleep well.

UUtente ospiteEverything is great, the pool is huge and clean, lifeguard always on duty and towels are always available. Room is modern and nice.The only thing I will complain is their food ( breakfast buffet) there is a lot of flies touching the fruits and deserts. We were setting right in the corner of the desert table and flies are everywhere.I even asked the employee that the flies touches desert and she said okay I will tell them.Person came and put a candle and thats it.I will suggest that pls assigned somebody to watch the fruits and deserts or any food thats open with out covers cause flies touches everywhere! Food is okay but not bad. The breakfast buffet for a children 7 to up is about 2,000 which is very pricey. I asked about it and one of them explain that how the rate is because my daughter is considered a extra person already and that 2k is included with extra bed so I asked the extra bed to put it out in our room.Still very expensive and no ala carte menu available for breakfast so you have no choice lol.
These are one of the flies that i cut off the legs beachse it was roaming in our table..

MMs. HayleyFrom the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help. 
We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept. Cleanliness, indeed, stood out during our stay — a point frequently echoed by other guests. 
One of the highlights was the leisure amenities. We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. The fitness centre, spa, and wellness offerings added to the sense of pampering. For those traveling with kids or family, there’s even a kids’ pool and a family-friendly vibe. 
Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property. 
Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility. 
That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects. 
Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality.
In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. Its attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, great amenities, and strategic location combine into a memorable experience. For those planning a trip to Davao, whether quick or extended, this hotel is a solid bet.

AAlyaaa23It was our first to experience the Pearl Farm and it really exceed our expectation🥰 We had a great time staying at this resort the relaxation, the comfort of their food from breakfast to dinner with snacks and unli drinks, the peace given by the place we felt so well rested, and the staff were all nice and friendly especially to our toddler she really enjoys talking to every staffs she met. The best resort we've ever stayed and we couldn't stop talking how great the place and all people. Surely we will return and stay longer soon.

This was our first time staying at Dusit Thani Plantation, and unfortunately, it may also be our last. While the resort itself is beautiful, with excellent amenities and friendly staff, the overall service and experience were very disappointing.
Check-in: We had to wait an extra hour before our room was ready. This was very difficult as we were traveling with two babies who were already tired and needed to rest.
Food: Dining was one of the biggest letdowns. We expected high prices, but unfortunately, the quality did not match. During breakfast, the ham served was spoiled, yet instead of apologizing, the staff insisted that the smell was just “because of spices.” I pointed out it tasted sour, but the head chef defended it after tasting himself. Other food items were bland, and our T-bone steak, ordered medium well, came out completely well-done.
Room: The room itself was cozy, but our sleep was disturbed by noises coming from the ceiling at night—sounding like cats or rats.
Service: Staff were polite but very slow and unorganized. I had to ask multiple times for our bags to be delivered, and in the end, I had to walk all the way to reception to collect them myself. Transportation carts were too few to accommodate guests, and the overall check-in experience was the worst we’ve had—no welcome drinks were provided even though they were supposed to be included.
In summary, Dusit Thani Plantation offers a beautiful environment and facilities, but service, food quality, and guest handling fell far short of expectations. For the price paid, we expected a smooth and relaxing family getaway, but instead, it turned into a stressful experience.

YYkhca_TravelsSiamo arrivati un po’ tardi nella nostra prima notte e siamo stati abbienti in modo scorretto. Dopo un lungo giorno di viaggio, abbiamo incontrato diverse questioni con le nostre strutture. Ho prenotato due camere, aspettando che fossero vicine, ma non è così. Come famiglia che viaggia insieme, abbiamo chiesto di avere le nostre camere swap per essere più vicine, ma ci è stato permesso solo di aggiungere un letto extra. Questo non era ideale, soprattutto perché mia madre non poteva stare da sola in una stanza per 6-8 persone, per cui io avevo già pagato.
Quando ho parlato al dipartimento frontale, che credo fosse il direttore in carica all'epoca, il suo tono era sgradevole e non era empatico per noi come ospiti; era una negoziazione deludente. Abbiamo discusso anche di questioni connesse alla connessione a Internet, e lei sembrava insultare, suggerendo che non si potesse fare altro che pagare per un piano di dati, per il quale fornirebbero un modem.
Dopo aver soggiornato in molti hotel e essere un manager di hotel, posso dire chiaramente che il nostro servizio era inadeguato.
