I had such a wonderful stay at The Oasis Harbor in Siem Reap. From the very first moment, the staff made me feel at home — they are incredibly kind, always smiling, and ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality truly made my experience unforgettable.
The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. There is a very special energy here — you can really feel a sense of calm and serenity as soon as you arrive. It’s the perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring the temples of Angkor Wat or the city.
The location is also fantastic: just a short and safe 15-minute walk to the city center, where you can enjoy restaurants, shops, and the famous night market. Siem Reap is such a welcoming city — everywhere you go, people greet you with a smile, and it feels completely safe to walk around.
If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, tranquility, and genuine Cambodian hospitality, this is the place to stay. I highly recommend The Oasis Harbor and I would love to come back again!

Il nostro recente soggiorno al Boutique Indochine è stato a dir poco sorprendente. Fin dall'inizio, siamo stati accolti con calore e ospitalità che hanno dato il tono all'intera visita. Le camere non erano solo accoglienti ma anche progettate con cura.
Ciò che veramente risalta è stato il servizio impeccabile fornito dal personale. Hanno fatto di tutto per rendere il nostro soggiorno memorabile. La colazione era varia e deliziosa, adatta a tutti i palati e non vediamo l'ora del nostro prossimo soggiorno.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole al Lub d Siem Reap in una camera mista da 10 letti. I servizi igienici erano sufficienti e molto puliti. L'ostello dispone di una piscina, di un bar e offre la possibilità di ordinare piatti molto gustosi. Anche come vegano/vegetariano avevo delle alternative lì.
Tramite la struttura è possibile prenotare gite ad Ankor Wat, al mercato galleggiante e ad altre attrazioni.

The location is great. It is near the night market and pub street. A lot of good restaurants are just a few minutes walk away.
The service is great. The receptionists, restaurant crew, and cleaning/maintenance personnel are well-trained and welcoming. I love the hospitality offered by their lovely staff. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
They offer welcoming drinks and fruits as well as afternoon tea with fruit juices, fresh fruits, and other snacks.
The hotel is eco-friendly and very relaxing.
They offer tuk-tuk services and tours. This way, you are sure that you are in good hands.
They also offer free tree planting. They provided a tuk-tuk ride from The Urban to their other hotel The Nature. There, we were guided by Joseph, as we plant our Golden Shower plant, Angki. He was so nice and very accommodating.
Overall, we had a nice and amazing stay with The Urban.

È un po' lontano dal centro della città, ma è ancora un ottimo hotel. (Può essere difficile ottenere anche se piove) È in una posizione molto tranquilla che è grande se non vuoi il rumore del centro della città! L'intero personale è super amichevole e ha un grande livello di inglese! Il personale è stato molto utile se avessimo problemi o se avessimo bisogno di aiuto.

Hotel molto bello in una posizione molto grande, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla strada Pub!
La stanza è grande, comoda e pulita.
La piscina sul tetto è davvero grande!
La debolezza dell'hotel era il colazione, che può certamente migliorare in varietà e qualità - è stato sorprendente, poiché altri pasti che abbiamo avuto sul tetto erano davvero molto bello.

Abbiamo prenotato un'ora di massaggio. Sono davvero felice di questo. I massaggi sono stati altamente formati e amichevoli.
Ci piaceva davvero stare qui e saremmo assolutamente tornati!
Per noi abbiamo avuto solo un punto di miglioramento, abbiamo davvero scelto questo hotel anche, a causa della palestra. Ma purtroppo la palestra è l'unica cosa che non soddisfa lo standard dell'hotel. L'attrezzatura è vecchia e molti di loro non funziona più. Il tiro a terra ha perso i serrature di sicurezza. Non considererei questo giardino come un posto dove voglio giardino.
L'esperienza di ginnastica non mi ha però ridotto questo hotel, e l'hotel era oltre le aspettative.

This amazing hotel is situated close to town, the design is Wonderful, the trip to town is 2-3 usd via grab..... The morning breakfast is simple and delicious, we had dinner here, the food was delicious though the price is more expensive than the one in town
The rooms were spacious, the bed is soft, had a very restful sleep here
There is a pond with lilies and mini Angkor outside the rooms
It is value for money, and had a wonderful stay here

JJoelbastedoAnjali was perfect. Quiet, restful, and beautiful. The pool is always shaded by dense foliage so it seemed like we were in the middle of the jungle. The restaurant was amazing, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange all our tours and activities. We were especially lucky to have Mr. Chhlen drive us around all week in the tuktuk and the van: not only was he kind and knowledgeable, making helpful suggestions for attractions and restaurants we wouldn’t have known about otherwise, but also he was very attentive to our kids and helped keep them safe and entertained when we were out temples and souvenir shops. We highly recommend Anjali and would stay again.

KKSea 14-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night!
The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap.
But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)!
The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude.
So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.

For travelers wanting to explore Siem Reap independently, The Calm Oasis offers motorcycle rentals at very competitive prices. This added convenience means you don't need to search elsewhere for transportation, and the rates are among the best I've seen in the area. Having this service available on-site made exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples incredibly easy.
Overall Impression
The Calm Oasis strikes the perfect balance between comfort, affordability, and genuine hospitality. The friendly atmosphere, pristine cleanliness, delicious food, fair pricing, and exceptional staff – especially Lyma – combine to create an experience that I would highly recommend to any traveler visiting Siem Reap. This is the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay and return on your next visit to Cambodia.

As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
