We came to stay at the Merton as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday and from the moment we arrived we received great service and could tell we were going to experience a great stay. The facilities across the hotel were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet had great quality and choice on offer, the shows in the theatre were well produced and the gym and leisure facilities were simply great. We have already booked our return trip in a few weeks and cannot recommend this family hotel enough, it’s amazing for couples or families. The hotel is very well managed and the service of the whole of the staff really enhanced our stay. Thanks!

The room was very clean. Flexible check-in and out. We arrived there very early morning, hoping to leave our luggage, but Hakim, the owner, let us have the room instead. We really appreciate it because we left our home at 4am and were so exhausted. WiFi was good too. My friend and I had to work remotely for a few hours on our checkout day, so we did it in a waiting room(shared space) with cosy sofas. and there was no problem with WiFi. About 10 mins walk to the town centre and a small local shop (Morrisons) is within 3 min walk. Overall, we’d like to thank Hakim for a warm welcome!

Just got back from an Amazing stay at Westhill country hotel. From the first contact with the hotel Annette was so helpful sorting our room out and when we got there and actually met her she was so lovely and friendly and the children said so too. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, the reception, restaurant and bar staff were all so friendly and helpful. I had medicine for my son that had to be kept in the fridge and this was no problem. Everyone made you feel so welcome and I really enjoyed relaxing by the beautiful pool and gardens. Our room was spotless clean and comfortable for all 3 of us. The shuttle bus to town in a morning was so useful and driven by Jonathan who is the owner and you can see he enjoyed interacting with the guests. The hotel had a lovely welcoming ambience with a sense of whole team effort from the owners and staff which can be seen and felt. There is lots of helpful info too on tours, things to do and buses etc. My children also enjoyed it and loved going in the pool. The evening entertainment was great and one night a fabulous guitarist and singer was on who was brilliant. All in all a fabulous stay, I’m so glad I chose it and only problem was it went too quick and we didn’t want to come home. There were grumpy faces on all 3 of us at Jersey airport Monday morning!

Excellent Stay in an excellent valued hotel on the outskirt of St Helier. The bus stop is just outside the hotel with buses running every 15 mins. But if you fancy walking then St Helier is 15-20 mins walk from the hotel. The staffs were very good and helpful. Free WiFi available. Bar and Restaurant on site. The beach is just across the road from the hotel. The hotel has its own indoor swimming pool. Breakfast was very good with just about everything is catered for. It's worth paying extra for it. Highly recommended.

Il 7 agosto ci siamo trasferiti in questo hotel per 3 notti come famiglia di 4. Veramente bellissimo hotel, abbiamo avuto due spaziose camere che erano interconnesse. L'hotel ha una bella piscina all'interno, c'è una piscina d'acqua fredda da usare, se si è abbastanza coraggioso. Ci siamo camminati per St Helier High Street ogni giorno che era circa un passo 15-minute. L'hotel è su una collina così vale la pena ricordare se qualcuno ha problemi di mobilità. Non l'abbiamo usato, ma l'hotel ha un autobus cortese che si mette in piedi per gli ospiti. Il personale era così amichevole, dalla ricezione dell'hotel, le ragazze, in particolare Gavin, che abbiamo incontrato il primo giorno, era così accogliente e amichevole. Ci ha detto di andare intorno alla baia di St. Brelades, che valeva la pena fare, se si fosse bravi ai piedi, ci ha detto tutte le diverse rotte di autobus, e non c'era nulla di troppo per lui. Vorrei sicuramente consigliare questo hotel, solo vorrei che avessimo soggiornato più a lungo, ma ci rivolgeremo.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto buona, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia e dalla spiaggia balneare, può anche raggiungere a piedi il centro città, al piano di sotto c'è il ristorante Michelin, molto delizioso. La SPA dell'hotel è in co-branding con il sito web di un marchio di bellezza e cura della pelle. E' necessario prendere appuntamento un giorno prima. Dopo averlo sperimentato, è molto rilassante e rilassante. C'è una fermata dell'autobus accanto, quindi è molto comodo andare allo zoo.

Il servizio / personale è fantastico qui. C'è una ragazza portoghese alla ricezione che è davvero dolce e un'altra ragazza europea alla ricezione. C'è un specialista del cocktail nel bar che conosce davvero le sue cose (penso che sia indiano). Anche il personale al colazione mattina è buono!Prova latte di latte di avena. Le grandi disappuntamenti sono: i letti singoli sono incomodi nelle camere gemelle con le scarpe terribili. La piscina nel bagno è un po' sporca, la luce dà la sensazione che l'ambiente è più pulito di quanto sia effettivamente. Il colazione non ha frutta fresca, si può fornire ogni giorno melone acquatico, pineapple fresche e melone ecc.

Avevo un bel tempo - la stanza che guardava la baia ha fornito la migliore vista e era un sogno di svegliarsi al suono delle onde ogni mattina. Non si può battere la posizione e ci sono diversi ristoranti vicino, così come gli hotel che sono stati molto conveniente per bere la sera e per un pranzo veloce tra le sessioni di spiaggia. Tutto era pulito e tranquillo e il servizio era amichevole e anche chiamato a dirci che la nostra stanza era pronta prima del previsto.

The Atlantic Hotel is absolutely a first class property, worthy of its excellent reputation. I had a great stay at the hotel, including through Storm Ciarán. First and foremost, the staff at The Atlantic are really excellent. I can't think of a hotel I've stayed at where the staff have been so consistently hospitable, warm and personable. Several deserve to be mentioned by name. Nathan is the wonderful concierge - he is warm, eager to assist guests and genuinely interested to give great hints and tips and ensure each guest has a great stay. Equally Sherman the restaurant manager was a credit to the hotel. He greeted me by name each time I saw him and demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism, care and genuine warmth. I hope he's still there next time I return! Equally Gregg in the restaurant, Alex, the assistant sommelier, Patrick, Rui, the front desk team - all were great. It's a real credit to the hotel's leadership that they are attracting, training and retaining such excellent staff. That really shown through in the aftermath of Storm Ciarán. I knew that the staff were committed to taking care of us, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests. The hotel itself is a true classic. It's not the most contemporary - nor should it be. It has personality, warmth and is genuinely comfortable. Cleanliness is excellent and maintenance is good. Some areas perhaps are in need of an update, but nothing critical. I liked that the hotel didn't feel forced or that it was trying to be something it's not. I think the building itself has an elegance and presence. I really enjoyed my room. I would DEFINITELY recommend the sea-view. I hesitated and shouldn't have. It makes a huge difference. The view is exceptional and I loved the little Juliette balcony. The furniture is mixed, but thoughtfully so. The beds great and a delight to stay in a hotel that doesn't have a hugely over-heavy duvet. The indoor pool was pleasant and I appreciated the sauna too. Breakfast at the hotel is again first class. I definitely enjoy having hot food prepared to order. Plus a good quality, well curated buffet too. Food in the hotel generally is very good quality, but perhaps a little over complex. I counted five available menus for evening meal across the restaurant and bar / lounge. It's nice to have choice and variety - but that felt a little much. A small point, but amidst the five menus - the dessert options were limited and just not quite right. The small choice were all fine dining style - and just a little fussy. It's great to have a couple of innovative options but the menu was missing options that were perhaps just more classic and accessible. I think the pastry chef could perhaps also add to the afternoon menu some fresh cakes or home made biscuits to accompany a cup of tea in the afternoon. I also think that the music in the lobby and restaurant must drive the staff slightly crazy! A little variety would be good. Thos

My husband and I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. Very easy to get to from the airport via bus no 15 which stops right outside the hotel and cost just £4.70 for two of us. We also used this bus the next day to go to St.Hellier, about 10 mins away. Check in was great, we were able to access the room at 1pm and enjoyed a complimentary glass of Prosecco. We loved our room (5) which had been recently updated and had plenty of space, a great tv and seating area. As mentioned by other reviewers there’s no lift and the stairs are steep but we’re fit & healthy so it wasn’t an issue for us. Beautiful toiletries by the white company were supplied in the bathroom along with a robe & slippers. The fridge in the room was great to have, although a little noisy. The pool area was lovely, with a converted horse trailer operating as a bar for poolside drinks and a changing area with toilets so you didn’t have to go back into the hotel. Lots of lovely places to eat in St Aubin but apart from a small supermarket there isn’t really any shopping to do there. The breakfast was amazing although the room was a little cramped. We found the hotel to be very quiet which suited us but worth noting if you are after somewhere with a bit more of a lively atmosphere
