This was my first time staying here and booking through trip.com. Everything was great effortless and booking and checking in. The beds were comfy and the shower is big enough for two people. The Chinese food in the ****** while watch the hockey game was great. Also the braised beef short rib Benny was a delicious start to Mother’s Day. I will definitely stay here again and hopefully hit the hot tub next time for sure.

Il valore è molto importante per un breve periodo di permanenza vicino al YYC, con la rotta dal principale BarlowTrail NE. L'ingresso frontale è un po' confuso se si avvicina dall'area industriale posteriore.
Il personale era amichevole e professionale, il normale deposito di danni alberghiere e la persona in attesa.
La stanza era molto spaziosa e pulita, anche se un po' datata. AC era un po' più alto di quanto previsto, ma poteva dormire. Non ho avuto tempo di usare le strutture (pool e palestra).

The motel is cheap and clean. Parking right out front of your room. Try to get a room on the back side. There is a wooded area on the back, a park, with trails. The motel is nicely renovated with decent design. The carpets outside in the open-air hallways need to be cleaned desperately. Service was normal (the East Indian guy working quickly had us checked-in).

The bed was much too hard. The air conditioning unit kept switching itself from warm to freezing even though I had it on the heat-only setting. The housekeeping team tried to come in and clean my room 45mins before I was scheduled to check-out.
Then my keycard was deactivated 10 minutes before checkout time so I was locked out when I returned from breakfast and had to go down to the front desk to get it fixed. The first lady at reception said she’d reactivated my keycard, so I went back upstairs and was still locked out, and the elevator was far too slow and I didn’t want to get penalised for checking out late, so I had to walk down the stairs (which were very difficult to find!) then a second lady gave me a different, new keycard to get back into my room, then I had to walk back up the stairs again and was finally able to get my luggage and check out. Overall it was a pretty bad experience.

Adoriamo la posizione (accanto a ottimi ristoranti asiatici nei centri commerciali) e la breve passeggiata fino al fiume. Anche la camera era confortevole!
Anche la colazione era buona, con porzioni abbondanti. È possibile scegliere un piatto principale con opzioni extra dal menu della colazione.
Purtroppo, durante il nostro soggiorno si è verificato un imprevisto. Abbiamo ottenuto l'autorizzazione a spostare la colazione inclusa di una mattina a un'altra mattina a causa della partenza anticipata del tour. Tuttavia, la notizia non è stata comunicata al ristorante. Abbiamo contestato l'addebito al momento del conto. Sebbene il personale della reception ci avesse assicurato che non ci sarebbero stati addebiti al momento del check-out, l'hotel ha comunque addebitato la colazione sul nostro deposito preautorizzato. Purtroppo, il personale del dipartimento frontale non sembrava molto accogliente. La loro espressione e il tono hanno dato l’impressione che non fossero interessati ad aiutare gli ospiti.

UUtente ospiteI recently stayed at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for three nights. While the location is undeniably beautiful and there were a few memorable moments during our stay, the overall service experience unfortunately did not meet the expectations I had for a hotel at this price point.
When we arrived on the first day, check-in felt somewhat rushed. The young female staff member assisting us (an Australian staff member) informed us that our room was not ready yet, which we understood as we had arrived a little early. However, she did not walk us through the hotel facilities, available activities, or provide much orientation to the property. Since the hotel is quite large, a quick overview would have been helpful for first-time guests.
We had a spa booking at the nearby Fairmont Spa at the Basin, and because our room wasn’t ready, we were advised that we would need to change there. That was a bit inconvenient as we had been hoping to freshen up in our room before heading to the spa.
We were given our room key cards anyway, but when we went upstairs to try accessing the room, the key cards didn’t work. We had to come back down to reception again to have a new set of cards issued, which added further inconvenience.
Later that evening, I called to request fresh milk for tea. Eventually, milk was delivered later, which I appreciated.
On the second day, housekeeping was another area where things fell short. By around 1:00 pm our room still hadn’t been serviced, so I called to request housekeeping. When we returned at around 5:00 pm, the room appeared to be only partially cleaned. Glasses and mugs were still dirty, and the tea bags and coffee pods had not been refilled. I had to call again to ask for the room to be properly tidied up.
We also stopped by the outdoor bar one evening and ordered hot alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, it arrived only lukewarm. It appeared to have been pre-made and the staff simply poured it from a thermos rather than preparing it fresh. Considering it cost around $25, it didn’t feel particularly worth the price.
On the third night of our stay, the power in our room went out. As a result, we were unable to watch TV or charge any of our devices. Since the phone in the room was not working, my partner had to go to the front desk to report the issue. After waiting for nearly an hour, a technician eventually came to our room and informed us that the power would be restored soon.
Considering the price of the stay, I expected a more consistent level of service and attention to detail. Additionally, the bathroom was smaller than I anticipated for a property of this caliber. I had originally planned to stay at Fairmont properties in Quebec and Ottawa over the next two weeks, but this experience has made me reconsider.
That said, there were still some highlights during our visit. We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at Walliser Stube, which was a lovely experience overall. The steak and chicken dishes were slightly on the salty side, but the staff were attentive and kindly offered complimentary drinks to make up for it, which was a nice gesture. We were also given some honey, which was a thoughtful touch.
One of the best parts of the trip was the snowshoeing walk organized by the hotel. Our guide, Kelvin, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience very enjoyable. It ended up being one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, the property itself is stunning and the activities are well worth experiencing. However, given the premium price point, I was expecting a higher and more consistent standard of service throughout the stay.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience.
Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us.
The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room.
We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it.
The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol)
The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together.
The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by.
Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot.
One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples.
The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free.
I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff.

La mia camera era spaziosa e pulita, dotata di un letto comodo di dimensioni reali che assicurava un buon sonno di notte, e dotata di un'attrezzatura, tra cui una microonde, un frigorifero e una TV a schermo piatto. Apprezzo in particolare il Wi-Fi gratuito, che è stato affidabile e veloce perfetto per catturare al lavoro e rimanere collegato.
Uno dei punti di vista del mio soggiorno è stato il complimentare colazione. Il buffet ha offerto una vasta gamma di opzioni, tra cui uova sgranate, bacon, frutta fresca, yogurt, e una selezione di pasticceria. C'era anche una macchina pancake, che era un divertente toccare! La zona di pranzo era pulita e spaziosa, permettendomi di godere del mio pasto in un ambiente rilassato.
La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, soprattutto per i viaggiatori che utilizzano l'aeroporto. È solo una breve distanza, e l'hotel offre un servizio di navetta, che è molto conveniente. Ho sfruttato questo servizio, ed è stato rapido ed efficiente, rendendo la mia arrivo e partenza senza stress.
Inoltre, ho avuto la possibilità di usare il centro fitness durante il mio soggiorno, ben dotato di macchine e pesi moderne, e è stato bello avere questa opzione per mantenere la mia routine di allenamento durante il viaggio.
In generale, il mio soggiorno all'aeroporto internazionale Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton è stato molto soddisfacente. La combinazione di servizi amichevoli, alloggi confortevoli e comodi alberghi ha reso una scelta ideale per i viaggiatori di attività e di svago. A questo hotel vorrei consigliare a chiunque cercasse un luogo affidabile per stare vicino all'aeroporto. Mi aspetto di restare qui di nuovo durante la mia prossima visita a Edmonton!

-Clean room with comfortable beds
-Shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. -nice clean waterpark with helpful and friendly attendant who did not rush us at the end of the night when our young kiddo was dragging his feet to avoid having to leave - heated pools and 2 water slides made the hotel more appealing for us with having our kids along Cons: - the waterpark slides did not have enough of an angle so we couldn’t get down the slides with out having to propel ourselves at times which was odd but also nearly comical
-tiny rooms especially for the price. It felt a bit cramped with the limited furniture and the kids on pull out sofa. - the bathroom door provided zero privacy from the rest of the room with no sound barrier, plus it had a “frosted” glass panel as the main part of the door so it was completely see through, and was a tiny bathroom. - no in room microwave so we missed out on being able to heat up leftover takeout from our trip to help us keep costs down and reduce waste unless my husband went hunting for one to use on the main floor, but that was quite a hike when we are on 4th floor so food was cooled right down by the time it made it back to our room. - ordering from the menu at the onsite breakfast restaurant was expensive and the food was quite disappointing. My kids seemed to enjoy the breakfast buffet at least which was free for 5 & under at least.

UUtente ospiteIl personale era amichevole e utile, e ci trovava una spugna di neve quando ci siamo resi conto che avevamo lasciato la nostra casa. La posizione è perfetta, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal centro, così si evita la difficoltà di cercare di trovare parcheggio nel centro. Se camminare non è una scelta per voi (limitazioni fisiche, vacanza lenta ...o Hanover) c'è un fermo di autobus fuori. C'è un ristorante attaccato se vuoi solo restare in una volta. La nostra stanza era grande e pulita con frigorifero a microonde e caffè. No, ma non sono neanche io, e al prezzo, assolutamente bene!
