All the family had a great experience. We would definetly come back again and highly recommend hotel for everyone.Hotel staff is extremely nice and welcoming and made our experience unforgettable. Everywhere we went since we arrived everyone was making us feel like at home and went extra mile to make our stay special. We particularly enjoyed dinner at Andiamo Restaurant. Food was beautiful , but Moises and Aide were exceptional in making our time with the family special.

The Covid-19 pandemic has really hit Acapulco HARD! Additionally, the recent earthquake didn't help hotels in the area either. But, guest looking to book this hotel should know a few things. I was willing to let a lot of things go that would normally concern me about a hotel. But..... First: This hotel has not been updated at all since it was built. There were only 2 (2-pronged) outlets in the room. If you had a computer to charge/use - you were out of luck. The plumbing fixtures appear to be original to when the building was built. If you had children - it would be very easy for them to scald themselves while taking a shower. The toilet is updated and very noisy. It could wake the dead. The wifi works sufficiently as this room was right outside the repeater which is clearly visible from the hallway. And, the AC worked too. Second: The room looked and felt dirty after seeing mold growing on the ceiling of the bathroom and shower curtain; you start to notice all the things that needed to be addressed/cleaned. The sink was intended to be ”under mount” but appears to be cemented in place. The sliding patio door had a huge crack in it (I assume after the earthquake) Third: EVERY SINGLE HOTEL in a tropical area should supply their guests with ICE! This hotel charges $20 pesos for ice. It's a small amount; but, given all the other crummy elements you put up with staying at this hotel - - it is the least they could do for their guests. I spoke with the manager to let him know that other hotels in Acapulco have ice machines and provide that ice to their guests as part of their room rates. He re-stated the hotel policy (absolutely useless!) FINALLY: there are 2 elevators for a 22 story tower hotel. That is not sufficient. Additionally, they appeared to be mal-functioning. When you would press the PB button - every floor below you would light up. The elevator would stop on all floors below you and no one was waiting to get on. The floor of the elevator was never even with the floor it stopped on. I tripped a few times. Getting on these elevators after a earthquake was SCARY to say the least. The location of this hotel is the only reason why I booked this location. I had nicer hotels that were less expensive that I could have stayed at - but chose this one because of the location. It is safe to say, I would never stay here again - under the current management and without a complete/full renovation.

Two things, amazing chef at Carnivore. Also the other was amazing service by Leticia Esteban. Thank you coming back tomorrow. Thank you for also making everything so festive and organized it makes me feel very welcomed. I will be bringing business this weekend here.

The hotel is located great, downtown. Easily walkable to so many places. Check-in was slow but the staff were helpful. Internet included on site. The rooms are dated but very spacious. The furniture is old. The balcony is a wrap-around but has a strange high wall blocking any view. :( We had a 3 bedroom, all rooms nicely appointed with soap, shampoo, mouthwash, toothpaste etc. Plenty of towels, hot water etc. Master bedroom ensuite very large with 2 sinks, jacuzzi and shower. Nice kitchen with 4 burners, a refrigerator, and a Pod coffee pot which I am not fond of so we bought a small regular one at Soriana's as they had no regular coffee makers at the hotel. They supplied plenty of bottled water daily and you could ask for more. The living room was kind of crowded with dated furniture. Dining room sufficient. Overall decent to good room, comfy beds, and pillows are good as well. We had a great time but. We were on the side of the hotel with no sunset views. Bummer. What would make me probably not return was that the main pool was under construction! Upon arrival they stated maintenance, but it was major construction of more than 3/4 of that pool. The remaining areas were kiddie height. What do we do on vacation when it is in the 100-degree F temps, all day? Lounge by the pool. None of that was happening. We did use lounge chairs on a level but no pool time. Service by the pool was incredibly slow. The lower pool by the ocean was filled with children and completely cloudy, I was not putting my toe in that. The ocean was beautiful but not swimmable due to rouge waves and very rough surf. The manager offered us a percentage off food & drinks bought at the resort due to the pool issue. Sounded okay upon check-in but alas we did not eat or drink there much and most times never got the discount. We had great meals in Acapulco, did some great tours and just really liked Acapulco. Felt very safe and welcomed in this area. The pool being out of commission really ruined the vacation for us all. We will return to Acapulco but not this hotel as we were not told of this problem ahead of time by the resort or our exchange company. We would never book a resort in May in Mexico without full pool access.
