My friends and I enjoy trivia night at the Kondari, enjoying a meal beforehand. A meal I have enjoyed since childhood is Lambs Fry and Bacon, and this one is took me back in time. The meat, vegetables and gravy were the perfect combination. For those who enjoy a meal of Offal, this meal is definitely ON.

Un altro grande soggiorno a The Oaks.Le splendide strutture pulite e moderne facilmente compongono il lavoro attuale sulla piscina. Non menzionare le incredibili viste sugli oceani e il personale che fa tutto il possibile per rendere il vostro soggiorno meraviglioso. Non ho mai avuto una cattiva esperienza nelle Oaks. This is about the 10th time I have been to Hervey Bay and decided to give Ramada a go. Being a four star hotel, unfortunately, I did not have the feel of one. The studio room was clean and spacious with really cold aircon, which was great. Whilst it was spring where the temperatures were quite cooling, with the room facing the road, it was not possible to open the balcony door due to the road noise. Even when the balcony door was closed, the road noise could be heard at night. Additionally, the room doors had to be closed quite hard and hence one could hear the room doors closing by the neighbours which could be startling at times. The bed was comfortable, slightly firm but sufficiently soft. The television was of a decent size which was great as some hotels have annoyingly small televisions. There was ample space for luggages and a good sized study table. However, there was mould in the shower and one of the bath towels was full of blue ink despite being freshly laundered. The two reception staff I experienced over the three nights were friendly and nice. The underground carpark is really tiny with very limited car parking available and hence you might have to park by the road outside the hotel, especially if you return past 8/8.30pm. The gym was small with a treadmill, bike and a weights station. Overall, an alright stay but I expected better as a four star hotel.

L'hotel era sorprendente come al solito, ma il nuovo membro del personale non aveva idea delle strutture e di quello che ogni camera aveva in essi. Abbiamo avuto un sacco di oggetti da microonde che abbiamo eliminato , solo per trovare c'era una microonde dopo aver detto che non c'era sicuramente uno. Forse il personale deve guardare nelle stanze ogni volta e per un po' .

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff member at the check-in desk. Our unit was clean and comfortable (even if it was dated and worn down, it looked like new paint). The views of the ocean/sandy straight were absolutely fabulous. We had a full kitchen with necessary gear (dishes, flatware, cups, rubbish bin, dish cleaner), refrigerator was a good size. The main room was plenty big with a separate bedroom. It was quiet at night (a priority). The pool was just below our unit and it is a very long lap pool, nice. Walking distance, on a pathway, to town and pier was perfect (1km). No wifi was the only drawback.
