#timetotravel Getting There - From Cebu City you can hop on a bus from Cebu's South Bus Terminal. It is if you want a less expensive but longer route than a direct flight. The earliest trip starts at 5:30 AM and the latest is at 6:00 PM. Since there's no bridge connecting the main island of Negros Oriental and Cebu, the bus will board a ferry and continue the travel to Dumaguete. The total travel time is around 5 hours and 30 minutes to 6 hours. It costs 350php for the bus fare. Attractions - Dumaguete is known for ancestral houses, beaches and falls, coffee shops and tasty silvanas. Dumaguete Boulevard is one of the most popular places in Dumaguete. Hotels - There are many hotels in Dumaguete to choose from. In our case we booked Coco Grande Hotel through Tripcom. Food & Restaurants - Many restaurants to try and if you go to Dumaguete Boulevard, there are variety of street food as well. Shopping - There is no problem about shopping in Dumaguete.
