Wild Wonders Await: Chobe National Park, Botswana 🇧🇼

A safari in Chobe National Park near the Okavango Delta in Botswana did not disappoint! Chobe is Botswana’s most biologically diverse national park, and is home to many of the big game animals all year round. The park is known for its large Kalahari elephant proportion 🐘 - apparently there are more than 50,000! - but lions, zebra, impala, wildebeest, kudu, giraffe, warthog, baboon and hyenas are all very common. Cheetah and leopards also roam the park. 🦁 🦌 🦛 🦓 🦒 I took a 2 day trip which included 2 river safaris along the majestic Chobe River, where we saw hippos, crocodiles and leguvaan, and 2 game drives. It was an unforgettable experience to see so many unique animals undisturbed, in their natural environment. I definitely recommend taking a good camera and binoculars to make the most of it! I was unprepared with only my phone camera, and missed out on a few spectacular moments! How to get there? I took a ferry from Kanzangula, Zambia and crossed the border into Botswana.
