Just spent the weekend at this hotel with my wife, First the positives , The view of the lake from our room was fantastic. As well as from the restaurant, The front desk staff was phenomenal. Especially Thea and Tariq, We also had a delicious meal in the restaurant of deer, potatoes and a wonderful carrot puree. The room was a bit expensive for what we received, It was a Family room with a double bed and a couch in the rom It had an OK amount of space but a very simple room. There was a hole in the wall where the cable TV wires came out. I also could not find an outlet to plug in the kettle where the kettle could sit on a table or counter, I ended up using it on the floor. If not for the view the room would be overpriced. We were in the Andree building which seemed a bit tired and a general air of general neglect, The hall carpets need to be cleaned or replaced, The breakfast buffet was ok. Simple fair but a lot of variety. The restaurant food was delicious, However there were problems, We gave our order for drinks and the meal when we seated but our server seemed rushed as there was not enough waitstaff, After about forty minutes we asked about our meal and it turns out the order was never given to the kitchen. About a half hour later they brought us the wrong meals! After another 30 minutes our dinner was finally served, To their credit we did not have to pay for the food,

Fantastic hotel: great location (2 minutes walking distance to the central railway station and 2-5 minutes walking distance to a large number of stores and restaurants in the city center, the ”Pir, and ”Atollen”), wonderful view, fantastic breakfast, fantastic restaurant (named NOR)… Great service, wonderful staff, clean and quite room with a wonderful view…

Wir waren auf Zwischenstop für zwei Tage in Jönköping. Das Hotel hat eine zentrale Lage, genau gegenüber dem (sehr interessanten!) Streichholzmuseum und in Steinwurfweite zur Innenstadt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber. Negativ viel auf, dass das Badezimmer mit einer „improvisierten“ Badewanne ausgestattet war, die einfach über die Duschecke gestellt wurde, aber nicht an der Wand befestigt war. Das war etwas wackelig und insgesamt nicht professionell. Im übrigen war das Zimmer in Ordnung, aber eine Renovierung würde nicht schaden. Frühstück war gut. Vor dem Haus fanden Strassenarbeiten statt, so dass morgens ab 8 Uhr sehr viel Lärm war.

Una bella vecchia vecchia casa di Manor nel sud della Svezia, a Jonköping. La nostra esperienza nella sala da pranzo è stata seconda a non. Abbiamo scelto il pacchetto di vino preselezionato con ogni corso, e questo è risultato molto saggio. Il Maitre D era molto perceptivo e delegava un giovane francese affascinante a essere il nostro assistente con il nome di Mathieu. Mathieu ha salutato la Rochelle, che ha una tradizione molto forte di Rugby, così abbiamo avuto anche molto di discutere il prossimo gioco del Galles contro l'Australia e, naturalmente, ha parlato eccellente inglese. Alla fine ci siamo recati alla cena, molto per il sollievo di mia moglie, e Mathieu ci ha guidato in modo abilità attraverso i menu e la selezione del vino. Dopo cena abbiamo preso il caffè e il coniglietto nella Roo Reale, che aveva dipinti eccellenti dai re della Svezia attraverso gli anni. Mathieu è stato presto a sottolineare che fa parte della squadra di guardiani del Royal Banquet per la recente visita del re Carlo svedese XV1 Gustaf e la regina Silvia a Strasburgo. La nostra camera da letto è stata molto accogliente e ben designata. Con ascensori che servivano tutti i piani. Vi è stato un ottimo corso d'oro e un'ottima gamma di guida vicino, in spa casa e piscina, abbiamo notato anche un campo da tennis Padel. Noi classificammo la nostra esperienza come 5 stelle. Pleased to find this hotel on our road trip from Britain to Sweden. The room was nice with a lovely lakeside view which was just magic at night when the sun hardly went down in June. Everything was clean and the breakfast was nice. The arrival left a lot to be desired - we were asked to park in the multi-story around the corner some way away when the hotel advertised parking. We had no-one to help us - we are in our seventies and had to bring our suitcases over cobbles on the main street in pouring rain with no offer of a valet. When we eventually got to reception, again no offer of help and a stuck lift as there was a student ball going on with teenagers blocking the lift entrance and commandeering the lift so that no-one else could use it. Very tiring and annoying for what we paid. The food at the pub adjoining was very third-rate and we couldn't eat the soup at all and sent it back. We're not fussy but we do expect value for money.

During my stay in our room at night, the water leaking from the ceiling did get on my computer,other electronic properties, clothes, shoes, etc. I called the reception and hotel authorities came to the room with another staff member and explained the situation. They said it rained a lot at night and the room may have had water from the ceiling. When I was leaving the hotel, I talked to authorities again and said that I would talk to my insurance company and inform her.The authorities was already in our room in the morning and saw the conditions and frankly we left the hotel trusting her. My insurance company stated that compensation should be paid by the hotel as the incident occurred during our stay. I contacted the hotel authorities and shared the insurance company's response. However, later on, the hotel authorities suggested in the mail that I might have damaged my computer after I left the hotel and that the computer was working in the hotel. To fully understand how and for how long water damage to itself can affect the functionality of a laptop, I encourage them research this topic further. As a paying guest at the Clarion Collection Hotel Victoria, I strongly disagree with claims that I damaged my computer after I left and they just recommend me to try to solve this issue with my own insurance company!!! This is unacceptable. It is my hope that they can improve to handle such situations with a better solution that aligns with the principles of guest satisfaction!!!

Viaggi di affari, arrivare al fine settimana La stanza dell'hotel è molto nervosa. Possiamo prenotare la stanza in ogni finestra del seminterrato. L'intero hotel è decorato con un vento freddo relativamente nuovo e la posizione è buona, ma la stanza del seminterrato dell'hotel è troppo piccola, non è isolata dal suono, la porta è aperta a mezzanotte per farmi svegliare diverse volte, non raccomanda la stanza del seminterrato

Came to the hotel with two others, we were going to share a family room. When we got to the room, the key cards didnt work. Finally inside, the room was full of dust. Could make picture in the dust, so the room must have been overlooked by cleaning staff for a long time. No soap in the toilet. Small room, had to use a chair to the bunk bed. Tried to get the ventilation but that made the dust even worse. The room felt old, worn out and a bit sad, with a sprinkle of dust. Went down to talk to staff, meet a man that had to get more toiletpaper (at least we had toilet paper in our room). Got to talk to a good staff member that upgraded us to two double rooms on another floor. The room was clean and not as worn out (but a bit worn out...). One of the room only had one small towel (for hands). Breakfast was okey, didnt make me very impressed. Maybe the experience allready made me very hard to impress. When checked out, got an invoice, even if we paid for it the day before. Talked to another staff member, than the day before, that didnt know that we had changed rooms. I dont recommend this hotel. Id rather stay in a caravan, then be paying for this hotel.
