"I had a nice stay at Richmond Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making for a very pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, allowing us to settle in quickly. One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which offered both a separate shower area and a bathtub, giving guests the option of a quick shower or a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing. Another aspect I appreciated was the hotel's assistance in arranging for our luggage to be transferred to our next hotel in Tokyo. The process was seamless and hassle-free, allowing us to travel more comfortably without having to carry our large suitcases. I especially love this luggage forwarding service, which is widely available throughout Japan and makes travelling between cities much more convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily stay here again."

"Check-in was very smooth. In fact, they allowed us to check in earlier - about 1 to 2 hours earlier, I think. The room was already ready, so they allocated it to us when we arrived. The room itself was rather small but functional and clean, so we don’t really have any complaints other than it being a bit small. I guess this is Japanese standards. The pricing is fairly more expensive than the inns across the road, perhaps because of the location and also because it is very new. The property itself has a very nice onsen. The female onsen had a lot of apples floating in it, which was a very nice touch to showcase Aomori apples. The front desk staff are very nice and very friendly. They also have staff who can speak Chinese. Not that I am Chinese, but I can speak some Chinese better than Japanese, which I can’t speak at all. Nevertheless, the staff could converse in English, or at least some basic English. There’s free yoga and some classes, but we didn’t utilise them as it’s not really useful for tourists who would rather spend time outside the hotel. This seems more suited for locals who want a short getaway, but still a very lovely touch. Breakfast is paid separately and does not come with the room, so there is no comment on that. The property provides Nespresso capsules in the room, and there is also a better Nespresso machine near the check-in counter. I also love that they provide water for free without having to pay extra. The lounge is available for everybody and overlooks the bridge. They provide some free snacks and drinks depending on the timing - different items in the morning and in the evening. That being said, there is no alcohol being served. Also, the coffee there is very bad. I don’t understand why they don’t put the Nespresso machine in the lounge since they have one at the lobby. Overall, everything was quite perfect for this hotel. In fact, the location was the most perfect part. Once you exit the train station, you enter an elevator that goes up to the hotel. Since it was winter, I was afraid I would need to drag my bags for a long time, but it’s right outside the exit after you tap your card and turn left. If I remember correctly, the elevator is right there and there is no need to go outside at all. However, there are only two elevators servicing the entire building, so there might be some waiting time. I would advise leaving earlier if you have a train to catch. The only reason this is not a full-star review is because I requested about a one-hour late checkout due to our train time, and they told us we needed to pay - if I remember correctly, ¥2,000 per hour. I felt they were very rigid about the 11 am checkout time. To be honest, even if they had given it to us, we probably wouldn’t have used it anyway, as we later decided to change our train time to leave Aomori, since there isn’t much to do here. Still, the rejection and inflexibility made us feel very uneasy and unwelcome. I think they could have handled this better by being less rigid and more human. So that’s minus points from us. After all, this is part of hospitality, and it doesn’t hurt."

"I visited this hotel with my family, and surprisingly, only our group was there. I had booked a room with fullboard meals, but I was disappointed to find that the buffet line was different from other hotels I’ve stayed in. Instead of having a variety of meals, they only served one set per person. This was not enough for my family."

"Mainly stayed here for ski in ski out convenience to Aomori Spring Ski Resort. Hotel rooms are sizeable for Japan standards. Got the full room and board with 2 meals provided, and buffet selection was decent variety. Lunch options there are limited choices but food is decent. There is also an onsen which was nice."

"The onsen and breakfast were both incredible! Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese style food and lots of different drinks. I went to the onsen both when I checked in (closes at midnight) and then again in the morning before breakfast. What a treat! Staff were also very nice! The location is phenomenal as well as it's close to the station and main attractions. Some people have said that the bed and pillows are a bit hard, but personally like it better this way as it's healthier for my back. Room is a bit older style and kind of small but I was just sleeping there anyway and so it was fine Would definitely stay again!"

"Posizione dell'hotel: vicino alla stazione ferroviaria JR, a circa dieci minuti a piedi. Nelle vicinanze ci sono molti ristoranti e due o tre centri commerciali dove fare shopping. Colazione in hotel: molto buona, non c'è molta scelta, ma ogni pietanza è preparata con cura. Il succo di mela, il pane, ecc. prodotti ad Aomori sono deliziosi. Servizi dell'hotel: relativamente vecchi, ma ben tenuti e comunque confortevoli. Servizio dell'hotel: molto buono, ho chiesto una camera tranquilla e me l'hanno accontentata."

"初めて宿泊、シングルの部屋を予約しました。印象はとてもきれいなホテルです。部屋も掃除が行き届いていてきれいです。アメニティを持って来なかったのでフロントで300円で買いました。ポーチが可愛いです。部屋にはタオルと歯ブラシと500mlのお水がありました。朝食はフロントで予約しました。9階で見晴らしが良く、景色を見ながら朝ご飯を食べて、せんべいスープが珍しかった。２泊しました。なかなか東北方面には来ないけど宿泊して良かったです。"

"The hotel is very conveniently located, just a short walk from the station, which made travelling around so easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was quite nice with a good variety to start the day. It’s also within walking distance to A-FACTORY, which was a big plus for sightseeing and shopping. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay!"
