Ho partecipato a un pasto familiare per una 60a celebrazione, 12/14 persone erano nel nostro gruppo.Abbiamo ricevuto un saluto professionale molto caldo dal personale, mostrato al nostro tavolo da un gentiluomo molto gentile (pensiamo che il suo nome fosse James). Questo uomo era molto professionale, informativo, supportivo e impeccabile . Noi ordinammo e ricevemmo i nostri menù scelti. Lo stesso è stato servito a pipe calde da personale molto efficiente, cortese, personalizzabile. La nostra festa ha avuto una serata più piacevole, e sicuramente consigliererebbe molto questo hotel per pranzo o festa di famiglia 🍾

This was a great place to stay in Ballina; centrally located so that we could park our car and mostly walk where we needed to go. Also was able to have the desk call us a cab if we needed to go farther. The room was small, but the bathroom was spacious and the bed was quite comfy. The only thing not comfortable was the heat, but the hotel furnished us with a fan and we tried keeping the windows open. We spent one evening at the downstairs bar with friends, which was cozy with live music. We spent another evening with friends at the bar upstairs, which was also terrific for our needs. One evening we ate at the restaurant with a fabulous river view seat. Loved watching the fishermen while we ate. Actually saw them catching salmon in the river! Plus our meal was absolutely delicious and the staff was attentive. Finally, we had four breakfasts in the restaurant and the quality and quantity was terrific to get us through most of the day. Lots of variety to choose from, and they were open to flexible choices.

La struttura è molto ben curata (prevalgono legno e pietra) e immersa nella natura incontaminata del Connemara. Ottima accoglienza con possibilità fin da subito di fare alcune semplici escursioni all’interno della vasta area di proprietà del resort. Molte le attività proposte, peccato che la parte fitness con idromassaggio sia a pagamento. Cena buona con servizio al tavolo impeccabile. P.S. se vi avventurate per un trekking ricordatevi di darvi il repellente per insetti.

Controllato in anticipo grazie a Raquel che ha provato e ci ha fornito una aggiornamento della stanza complimentare, così come rispondendo alle nostre domande sul spa, ristorante e l'ingresso e l'uscita dalla città. La stanza era lussuosa, ben attrezzata con balcone, tè e caffè, vestiti, ecc. Le strutture spa erano pulite, spaziose e tranquille mezza settimana. Il servizio di colazione era veloce e la gamma di scelte sul menu erano tutte bellissime.

We stayed at the Ellison last weekend as went over to Castlebar to see Christy Moore, we arrived before lunchtime, we had 2 suites booked and the the girls on reception couldn't have been more friendly, they said one room was ready so we could get in early to drop our bags. They also arranged a taxi for us to the airport on the Sunday and booked us in for breakfast. The hotel itself is lovely and our suites were bright and spacious, there were robes and slippers in both rooms, we had a king size bed and a single bed in each room along with a sofa and a mini kitchen. There is free water in the room, tea and coffee making facilities and free biscuits. The bathroom had a range of toiletries too. The hotel is in a brilliant location and is right behind the Royal Theatre, we heard that there was a walkway between the hotels but we didn't use this. Breakfast in the morning was lovely it was a help yourself buffet and the food was of a really good quality. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again if we were ever in Castlebar.

Hotel magnifico e bellissimo e posizione vedendo il fenomenale Croagh Patrick è sorprendente all'hotel! Il personale era utile, accurato e autentico, andavano oltre e oltre 5 stelle in ogni squadra e ruolo, io e mia sorella rimase per 2 notti celebrando il suo compleanno. Da la mia prenotazione telefonica, la ricezione, la nostra camera, le bevande serali al bar, il frutto e i trattamenti divini di spa abbiamo avuto un tempo attivo e rilassante qui. Vorrei urlare a Paul (bar), Melissa (ricevimento) Niamh, Valerie & Carrie (spa) e tutti i meravigliosi membri della squadra a Knockranny House Hotel & Spa. Condividere con la mia famiglia e amici e saremo sicuramente di ritorno presto. Grazie Carol & Eve Armstrong

This hotel has certainly improved, the bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and the food was good. However, some staff require training in basic interpersonal skills. We were told we could have breakfast from 8 to 10am, went down at 9:30, the staff were snapping plates from our table, no bread for toast, when I requested more the waitress (with a New Zealand accent) reluctantly threw a basket with 4 slices on the counter and said we are officially closed now. We had a fabulous waitress at dinner the previous evening, she could teach the other waitress about basic manners and what is expected from staff working in the hospitality sector. When checking out the lady behind reception took the room keys and just muttered ”all good”, no pleasantries e.g. ”How was your stay?” ”Was everything satisfactory?”

Stai qui per un matrimonio di famiglia tra il 4 e il 7 ottobre 2024. Camera pulita e confortevole, buon colazione in un ambiente grande. c'è una piscina e una palestra che sembrava bello ma non ha provato. Avrete bisogno di cappe da nuoto - disponibili all'hotel per un canone.

Just back from a lovely two night stay at the Great National Hotel. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was a bit soft for my liking but that is just personal taste. The carafe of water in the room is a nice touch. As with every hotel I have ever stayed in there was a very limited selection of TV channels. I ate breakfast and dinner in McShane's on both days and although the menu is not extensive the food was delicious. The thing that really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would love to stay again if I am back in the Ballina area.
