Personale molto competente, amabile, cortese e servibile. È molto buon colazione a volontà. Molto rumoroso per le persone che non rispettano i luoghi e le persone dalle 22:30 alle 1:30 del mattino e dalle 5:30 al momento in cui se ne vanno, perché non c'è nessuno che sorvegli la notte.

I had not stayed at this hotel before. Arrival immediately brought anxiety. Instead of the tranquil green environment on the hotel’s website photograph I encountered the exterior building in major works turmoil. Few parking spaces were a available close to hotel because of the hotel expansion works. I had pre-booked a superior room, to find this very disappointing. A view from the room window was of a pile of earthwork (see photos). In the room, the fridge didn’t work, neither the hairdryer - but a back-up one was found in the room, and the modern open-plan room was not at practical nor welcoming. On the positive side a good value and enjoyable dinner and breakfast. Helpful staff. A spacious room. The hotel has an excellent situation for joining Arlon’s autoroute system. However, I will be writing to ACCOR /ALL to request compensation for what I believe is the below-standard accommodation.

Questo dove andare a fuggire. Fantastico ambiente, eccellente cibo e servizio eccellente fanno di questo uno dei miei migliori destinazioni di fine settimana della famiglia. La nostra camera sembrava molto nuova con un alto livello di accessori, ma è stata risolta mettendo un fan nella stanza

Little bit of a strange concept with the motel being above the supermarket and petrol station but what a little gem. The staff were friendly and happy to speak English. The hotel is very clean, your room is serviced every day and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast can be bought for €10 and is worth every cent. We came as a group to Bastogne re a battlefield tour and this has been the perfect base for us. There was no issue with traffic noise or late comings and goings as the petrol station closes for the night. I would definitely recommend this motel and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Switzerland. My husband ordered vol aux vent and I ordered a chicken burger with onions and fries. The vol aux vent was only luke warm and tasteless the puff pastry stone-hard. When you order a chickenburger you would expect a piece of braised chicken ( breast) and fresh fried unions. What came was an unidentified circle of some kind of meat out of the deep fryer and some ready bought fried union crumbs out of a bag. We would have eaten better ( and cheaper) if we would have stopped at the local snackbar ( frituur). Afterwards my husband was feeling sick the rest of the day and following night! This is the second time that we tried to eat at this van der Valk hotel and the second time that the food is disgusting. I don’t understand why, in other van der Valk hotels it is ALWAYS good. You would think that this van der Valk couple running this hotel was placed here in exile as a punishment by the rest of the van der Valk family or they just don’t care! i guess the latter.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel De La Poste. Our room was comfortable, light and airy and had a lovely view over the river to the castle and hills beyond. An electric fan helped keep it cool in the very how weather. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel’s location is very convenient being right in the town centre. There was ample parking in the underground car park, which was very useful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We did not try breakfast as the charge was some 20 Euros per person. Instead, we ate breakfast at the tea room across the square for a quarter of the price! The main negative point was the constant thud, thud, thud of the base from the music in the ground floor bar, which made it much too noisy to have the windows open.

A beautiful quiet chateau nestled in the woods on the edge of a tranquil lake. The room we stayed in was a delightfully converted stable with a vaulted ceiling and an old stone pillar in the centre of the room. It was charming. The breakfast was generous with a particularly fine pain du chocolat. The staff could not be more helpful. However, there is nothing charming in an open plan bathroom and toilet with glass walls. I have no idea why this is thought to be a good idea. Without this design feature the hotel would comfortably been rated five stars.
