La struttura è elegante e confortevole, e anche "autentica": ha un suo stile, una bellissima location sul lungofiume (mentre l'ingresso è su una "normale" strada decentrata cittadina). Ci sono tante stanze, ma non si ha mai la sensazione di folla, l'arredamento è gradevole (un pò spartano il bagno) e la connessione wifi buona. Buona la colazione; a cena noi avevamo la mezza pensione: scelta limitata ma tutto molto buono. Uno dei nostri hotel preferiti in Senegal (in generale, consiglio di prendere le stanze di un livello superiore: sono ristrutturate e dotate di confort utili, come il frigo)

Stayed two non-consecutive nights on a tour. Attractive property located on the river. Reasonably quiet. Small, clean room with desk area and sufficient number of power jacks. No electric kettle. The mini-fridge didn't work. Comfortable bed (with mosquito nets) and pillows. Shower with good water pressure but very slow draining. Good wifi. Breakfast buffet with good selection, including yogurt, cheese, cereal, fruit. The staff speaks minimal English, which is the norm in Senegal.

The rooms were dark, the shower was tiny (with one corner blocked out for pipes). Almost no toiletries. And there's a step up from the bedroom to the bathroom that's not fun to navigate at night. Breakfast at the restaurant was terrible. VERY limited options, served on small platters that were picked clean in minutes. Too many guests for too few servings. Dinner was better because it was served individually based on your order. Food was ok, but not anything special. And the bar is HIDDEN. So if you can't find a server, and you go looking for the bar, you eventually find it but trying to get a vodka tonic was a 30-minute ordeal. Overall, not impressed, and would try elsewhere if I'm ever back in Ziguinchor.

I stayed here for two nights during a 12-day trip to Senegal and it was my favorite stay. I'm not sure what category my room was, since it was booked by a tour operator, but I stayed on the second floor (room #44). The views of the river are very nice and the staff are friendly. I ate breakfast and dinner at the riverfront restaurant both days and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs (vegetarian). Some staff speak a little English, which I found to be adequate to communicate my needs. The room was spacious and well lit with a large comfortable bed and mosquito net. Air conditioning worked well and the shower was great. Wi-fi worked well in my room and I was able to do some work meetings on my laptop. I wish I could have stayed a couple more nights to fully unwind.

Great hotel, good value for money, great facilities, rooms spacious, just disappointed with showers, serious drains issues to be fixed. Great location, staff very efficient and courteous. Beautiful surroundings.

Excellent hotel with fantastic river views I booked a ‘Casamance’ room on the first floor, not worth booking the ‘royal’ rooms on that floor as you have the same view, with the same bedding, just a bit more space and a bit more amenities in the ‘royals’. For its views first floor is to recommend. Are rooms are accessed by an outdoor stair and alley. The hotel has a very laid down atmosphere with a small swimming pool, a great terrace,, and fantastic outdoor seating for dinner, both overlooking the river. Food is excellent with lots of local fish plates. The tempura crevettes are mouth watering. I really felt home at this hotel, with its enthousiast staff, and its nice garden filled with local artifacts and flowers.

Don't trust this hotel – they added fake charges to my final bill and the staff were oh so incredibly rude. The wifi does not work on iPhones.. Otherwise bed was very comfortable and setting peaceful.

I found the hotel to have clean and comfortable rooms. Nice location facing the river. The restaurant severed very good meals, and the food was served promptly. The staff was friendly and courteous I experienced no problems with the WiFi. A very good one night stay

Enjoyed a two night stay in this lovely hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens on the riverside with fabulous views of both river and gardens from the balcony. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff friendly.
On the downside-Balconies are not private as to reach your room guests have to walk across the balconies on the first floor where we were staying. Otherwise fabulous
