First impressions are very important and can determine a guest's experience. The friendly and helpful front desk personel (Echo Huang & Mr Wong) were attentive and ethusiatically answered our various queries. As we found out later, even the housekeeping staff were warm and friendly, accomodating our requests. The service attitude immediately made a very good start to our stay. Room was comfortable and luxurious as befitting a 5+ star hotel. Sound proofing was top notch. The room we stayed in has a balcony and outdoor onsen which gave an excellent view of the tranquil lake beyond. A fine mesh prevents any bugs from entering even the balcony. The view is akin to having the landscapes depicted in chinese paintings come to life! Will definitely stay here again.

Hidden gem in Zhaoqing! A big shout out, and thanks to Emma, who upgraded us as it was my husband's birthday and the service provided was just up to the mark. She got the room decorated and also sent a small cake, how nice of her 😍 Loved the ambience, surrounding, services provided at the hotel. They had so nice water park, indoor pool, go karting. Also, there's boating, cycling, and jogging track in the surroundings. A perfect resort for family. I will surely come again with family and friends.

The hotel location is very good. Major spots are within walking distance. Can see the beautiful sunset! The service is good too, in particular Lisa Li was very helpful and responsive. Many thanks to her.

The location is very convenient and the room is large and clean. Robots services also convenient. The Thai SPA is very nice despite being a bit pricey. The only thing that is unsatisfactory is when I asked for a late check out, I was asked the reason why I wanted a late check out... I don't think this question is necessary, but I did get the late check out in the end.

Very good and highly recommended! We came for a family Xmas trip and all enjoyed it! Will definitely come back again.

Everything is nice. The only thing that can be improved is breakfast. It seems the hotel is taking more than what they can handle sometimes, especially during public holidays.

The size of the building of this hotel is impressive , the lobby design was extremely impressed . The size of my bedroom was great ! The check in was a disaster Food was a joke ! Starting From breakfast , it was disorganized, no system at all , food was nothing to write home about ! Then my lunch , the wanton noodle was such a joke that even the senior staff of the lobby restaurant was agreed with me that the wanton noodle “just the look “was not right . She ended up gave me a box of the famous Zhaoqing sticky rice as present ! The biggest disaster was the Thai fried rice on the 7th floor the Thai restaurant !! I have no idea why such a beautifully situated 5 stars hotel has got such terrible food outlets and no expert chefs !! All these food problem was on 29th breakfast , lunch and dinner . My room was 6332 , unfortunately one morning at 7.35 on 29th June I was woken up by the workers on the 7th floor due to renovation. I cannot put all the details of my experiences from check in till the end of my evening meals on 28th and 29th June . I love the view of the hotel so much that I stayed extra evening booking through the hotel web site for 29th June
