Abbiamo adorato questo hotel e la posizione in cui siamo stati a settembre 2023 un gruppo di 9 ci siamo divertiti moltissimo, adoro ogni minuto, le camere sono semplici ma pulite, c'erano alcuni problemi con le docce incostanti ma stavano cercando di risolverlo. Tutto il personale nell'area del bar è stato molto gentile e ha trascorso alcune notti giocando a biliardo guardando gli sport nel bar, abbiamo provato a prenotare per tornare di nuovo ma era pieno, quindi sempre l'anno prossimo lo consiglio vivamente per la posizione proprio nera sulla spiaggia e sul principale ***** gli aerei sono bassi ma niente che possa disturbarti. Il cibo al bar era davvero buono e la birra a buon prezzo

Mia moglie ed io siamo appena tornati da un soggiorno di una settimana in questo hotel nel villaggio di Kalamaki. L'hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla ma a soli 5 minuti a piedi dai bar e ristoranti della zona, anche se l'hotel si trova sulla traiettoria di volo dell'aeroporto con la pista in cima alla strada il rumore è limitato solo a circa arrivano dozzine di aerei al giorno, ma questo potrebbe essere diverso in alta stagione e i voli terminano intorno alle 21:00. L'hotel in sé è un bel posto in cui soggiornare con servizi che renderanno la vostra vacanza molto piacevole. Le camere sono semplici ma adeguate con un piccolo piano cottura, frigorifero, bagno e balcone, armadio, cassaforte. La maggior parte delle persone mangiava fuori perché gli utensili nella stanza non facilitavano la preparazione di un pasto decente (solo 1 padella adeguata, niente apriscatole, niente bicchieri), ma siamo riusciti a preparare un toast o un sandwich al bacon perché non ne abbiamo una colazione abbondante, ma non sarei stato in grado di cucinare un pasto serale. L'area della piscina è molto bella con molti lettini disponibili, ma ricorda che siamo andati in ottobre quando l'area si sta preparando per chiudere, quindi potrebbe essere affollata in estate. Adiacente all'hotel c'è il bar e ristorante Delight, gestito da Alex, dalla sua adorabile famiglia e dal personale, dove è possibile ottenere una buona selezione di cibi e bevande durante il giorno e la sera. Non siamo mai andati a fare colazione, quindi non posso commentare la sua qualità ma abbiamo mangiato all'ora di pranzo tutti i giorni e anche alcune sere con la qualità del cibo molto buona e a prezzi ragionevoli. Per quanto riguarda i prezzi, una pinta di Mythos costava £ 4,50, una lattina di Kopperburg £ 5, hamburger/hot dog e patatine fritte intorno a £ 7, anche i prezzi in città sono aumentati, quindi non è più possibile trascorrere una vacanza economica di questi tempi con la maggior parte dei posti in cui la birra si aggira intorno alle £ 4 a £5 per una pinta e un pasto per 2 intorno a £40, i cocktail costano tra le 6 e le 7 sterline.

Excellent stay. Large apartment. Comfortable beds. Cleaned regularly. Useful little kitchen with everything you need. The pool was busy first thing but we never had any issues finding a bed. Staff very helpful. The delight bar did an excellent breakfast. It is under the flight path but after the first few planes you do not notice the noise. Booked to go again in 24 and 25

I liked the appearance of the hotel. While the rooms are very basic place, which we knew about before we booked it, it is very pleasing to the eye throughout. The bed we had was soft and comfortable and offered a good night's sleep, and the breakfasts (if you're going on a B&B basis as we did are typical continental style, mini hot dog sausage, bacon, beans sliced meat & cheese, cerial, bread products and so on. The alternative "Paid for breakfasts" you can have there if you are going S/C are as you'd expect are better quality, and being the 'Full English'. I tried one for lunch one day. A very satisfying meal, reasonably priced. €35(ish) for 3 of them and a bowl of chips for the wife. The hotel itself is very good to use as a base if you're planning to be out and about a lot, as it is if you're planning to use the facilities for sunbathing by the pool. Staff are friendly and attentive too. The only bugbear I have with the place is that the rooms are routinely only cleaned every other day, and not daily, but to be fair to the place, I did approach a staff member to ask for our room to be cleaned daily. This was duely arranged and was done on a daily basis from that point onwards. But to me, this ought to be standard procedure for the hotel, without having to be asked to do it and not something that I should have had to ask for. This is a basic hygiene thing to say the least. Soiled toilet paper (along with used nappies, Continence pads etc) if you're holidaying with young children/disabled family members for example as we were festering in the rooms for up to 48 hours in the heat of the day until they're cleaned again is not good at all. This was the only thing that let the place down IMO.

Great hotel great staff pool bar was great too girl on front desk was fantastic she couldn’t do enough for us Bathroom was very dated and air on expensive but had a great holiday The noise from the planes did wake us up at first but you do get used to it and if it wasn’t for them we would have slept too late most mornings as the blackout curtains did their job so well

Basic hotel for self catering.You have a kettle toaster and 2 cooking rings. And a fridge.there was only 2 saucepans no frying pan and it was the only self catering I've been in that didn't provide a tea towel.we were in a one bed apartment.318 in B block which overlooked the pool.the apartment was spacious and clean. They were cleaned every other day it had a large balcony but the bathroom was on the small side..pool area was clean and the garden well kept.when we arrived we we're checked in quickly and shown to our room.we didn't need air con we got a key for the safe.the staff we're friendly and delight bar and restaurant was reasonably priced and the food very good.it is at the end of the runway so expect some noise.But it didn't bother us.its just over a five minute walk to the beach.And 10 minutes to the *****.there is a supermarket over the road.And the airport lounge is over the road so you can watch the planes come in and take off.we had a lovely meal at the sizzle and grill which I would recommend and if you want live music the venue bar does tribute acts.I would go again it's in a good location and only 10 minutes from the airport it is 15 euros to and from the airport and the taxi rank is at the hotel next door the lourdos beach I really enjoyed my stay and would go again.the only thing that bothered me was the mosquitoes my husband was bitten all down his back.so take plenty of spray.

This hotel is mainly self catering can opt for bed & breakfast but there are many mini markets on the main ***** 10 minutes walk with lots of choice The hotel is clean with studio apartments or 1 bedroom apartments Lovely pool and 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach

We stayed at the macedonia for 10 excellent nights, from arriving and being greeted by the lovely friendly Stella on reception, our room was overlooking the pool and immaculately manicured gardens. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel, the self catering facilities are very basic but we only used kettle and toaster. The hotel is at the end of Zante runway so planes fly very low past the hotel usually starting around 07 - 00 am but after a while you get used to them Just up the road is the airport cafe serving a great breakfast

Just returned from the Macedonia after a lovely week attending a wedding. We had a family room facing the pool was clean and spacious had everything we needed. No issues getting a sun lounger. Absolutely loved watching the planes we watched all the wedding party flights arrive my little man was obsessed. Never woke us up and we are light sleepers. My little lad was the only child here most of the week so had free rein of the pool and park the staff was amazing with him at the pool bar. Family members from other hotels came to the bar for drinks and food quite a bit as they loved it. We kept the room on with no issues, all the staff here are so amazing and welcoming. We will be back again to this hotel we’ve been Kalamaki a few times but this was our first time in the Macedonia and it was our favourite!
