Canadian traveler stayed 3 nights in late September. Good breakfast. The resort is very nice, restaurant food dishes were tasty, services were excellent. Two rice terraces are within walking distance (Hani and Jiankou). Others are further out, you need to have your own transport.
Off season rates are very affordable. A bit off the off the beaten path. Highly recommended.

本來入住高級房，但是跟景觀房不在一個樓，就升級了景觀房，還是很值得的，直接房間看日出。
酒店的服務非常好，行李都是幫助接送的。

Exceptional Hotel with an incredible view. The host was super nice and gave us lots of tips for discovering the area around. The view from the room is out of this world. You can safe yourself a trip and some money to the Duoyishu terrace and just look outside the window. The hotel also has a roof terrace to overview the area. Bed was comfy and the facilities were clean. The hotel restaurant serves really good Chinese food and breakfast. Would definitely go again.

這次是我們非常滿意的一個客棧，在哪裡似乎感覺到了家的温暖和關愛，房間乾淨，飯菜可口，在一個哈尼族自治州能吃到北方人可口的飯菜實屬不易，他家的飯菜不僅可口味道美味，早飯準備了兩種米線和饅頭，米線很好吃，我們注意他家佐料都是原瓶裝的，不像有些人家對水等，可見老闆的素質，還有他家的環境沒得説，不僅房間温馨，樓頂還設定了觀景台，不出客棧就能看到多依樹的日出，同時還提供了三腳架，況且還做了個水景，並且放了這道具，真是出乎預料（見圖片）。
在這裏特別要提到的是，我們其中一位吃晚飯時不小心魚刺扎到喉嚨裏，老闆二話不説親自開車帶我們到醫院看病，來回3個多小時，回到客棧已經夜裡十點多，我們大家非常感動！
下次一定住他家，希望我們和親戚一樣常走動，也祝客棧日益興隆！

I would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

Beautiful position, overlooking the rice fields. The hotel is quite simple, pretty nice rooms with the usual issues of houses built in cement in villages around China (no toilet window, bizarre toilet doors, terrible isolation). The common area is pretty dirty and a bit messy. Overall very ok for the price.

EEvanC17The hosts, a young couple with cute children, gave us a very warm welcome at this brand-new hotel, which boasts a stunning view over the rice fields. The hosts are exceptionally kind, highly communicative in English, and very attentive to the well-being of their guests. They accompanied us throughout our entire stay, taking us on walks to different viewpoints in the rice fields and preparing delicious meals for us. This was a truly wonderful experience that allowed us to live like locals during our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

CChuang HwakProprio come tutti i tipici villaggi di montagna, i gradini e le scale acciottolate, i sentieri tortuosi e gli stretti passaggi condivisi con galline e bufali d'acqua sono solitamente sporchi, ma è la disposizione disordinata delle case fitte e fitte in questo villaggio di Pugaolou che si trova in fondo alla strada principale e proprio a il bordo delle terrazze di riso che rendono il soggiorno e l'esperienza indimenticabili, caldi e interessanti! L'hotel è vecchio ma la mia camera ”familiare” che costava quasi il doppio di quelle senza finestre era calda e accogliente, soprattutto con il riscaldamento, la coperta elettrica, la doccia istantanea con acqua calda e le pareti di vetro dal pavimento al soffitto.
Il ristorante dello stesso proprietario si trova ai margini delle terrazze di riso e a circa un minuto o due a piedi e serve piatti semplici ma gustosi.
L'unico personale, Xiao Sui, era estremamente laborioso, cordiale e disponibile con suggerimenti su tour e trasporti. Può essere contattato tramite WeChat e aiuterà gli ospiti con i bagagli dalla strada principale fino all'hotel e viceversa.

BBrownThis was my third trip to Yuanyang rice terraces to watch the harvest, that I am fascinated by, during harvest season My previous trips I stayed at OneNess Resort (1/2 mile from Cloud). Both are great. Oneness is newer but Clouds has a vintage personality that is hard to beat. When I arrived, I was disappointed that there was no regular chains or small desk or table to sit at to work on computer and organize the daily videos that I captured. I just mentioned this to the manager and I went out to explore the area. When I returned, he had brought a table and chair to my room and placed them on the rooms terrace. The people here are so friendly and I personally take service and friendliness of the staff at the top of my list, Two of the young girls (sorry for the phrasing but I man 78 and we always used to use that terms as a compliment) tracked me down to invent me to come to the reception area and they would make me coffee. I was heading out so they quickly went back to the main reception and then returned to give me several “brew in you room” coffee pods. Fabulous location, fabulous people.. I’ll be back - God willing.

Il custode di Hani è stato ospitale e mi ha mostrato la strada per raggiungere i campi terrazzati del villaggio. È stato meraviglioso potersi avvicinare così tanto alle terrazze di riso! Qui è possibile vedere l'alba senza dover pagare i 70 yuan addebitati sulle piattaforme di osservazione. Tieni presente che il biglietto da 70 yuan consente l'accesso anche alle altre piattaforme di visualizzazione ed è valido per 72 ore. Ho avuto un upgrade gratuito a una stanza più grande con grandi finestre e vista. La camera era pulita e il letto era comodissimo con una coperta elettrica. Il proprietario parla fluentemente cinese e inglese ed è stato utile nell'organizzare il mio trasporto e nel dare consigli sui punti di osservazione dell'alba. Ho dei bellissimi ricordi del mio soggiorno a Duoyishu, vorrei tornarci ancora!

La zona è un po' difficile da esplorare perché non sembrano fare noleggi scooter per gli stranieri. Quindi devi prendere queste cose mini-taxi/bus, con cui abbiamo sperimentato un sacco di sconfortanti. Più di un taxi che un autobus, almeno per i turisti. Ma è certamente bella e interessante conoscere una cultura.

AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

GGuido AugustoThe rooms are very nicely decorated with a minimalistic style and a lot of wood decorations inside room giving a sense of luxury and comfort; the view is amazing from the rooms; the price is very good and better than other expensive hotels nearby; the social living room by the restaurant with books and chimney is very cozy.
-Waking up in the morning with the sing of a roster was amazing
-Hearing the nature at night was refreshing.
- The breakfast with local fresh harvested red rice noodles delicious
- take a coffee inside the room with the amazing view of a top to floor window room and chill
The stay was just perfect, and will recommend this hotel to friends. Will definitely stay there again such relaxing, perfect and luxurious stay

La vista dalla mia camera era incredibile, soprattutto l'alba, potevo vederla chiaramente dalla mia stanza o potevo andare nell'area esterna per vedere. Pertanto non è stato necessario recarsi sulla piattaforma panoramica sovraffollata alle prime luci dell'alba. La camera è confortevole, riscaldamento e asciugamani forniti ma non molto altro, quindi pago davvero per la vista. Doccia potente e calda ma senza articoli da toeletta forniti. Dice ristorante nella descrizione ma in realtà non ne ha uno, ha un paio di tavoli dove il proprietario può scaldare ravioli o baozi, tuttavia il proprietario è molto gentile e mi ha portato a trovare il suo amico che è a pochi passi di distanza che aveva una cucina e poter cucinare pasti diversi a prezzi buoni. Il proprietario mi ha aiutato a portare giù i miei bagagli, che erano piuttosto pesanti, e poi mi ha aiutato a trovare qualcuno che li portasse su alla fine del mio soggiorno. Consiglierei di non portare troppo con te dato che è a circa 8-10 minuti a piedi dal parcheggio più vicino, con parecchi gradini o percorsi irregolari ma, come ho detto, posso organizzare qualcuno che ti aiuti con eventuali bagagli pesanti. Inoltre è in un piccolo villaggio circondato dalla natura, quindi tieni presente che sentirai cose come le galline e il vento. Il proprietario parla un ottimo inglese, sempre pronto a rispondere a domande e aiutare.

DDaniela KisiThe location is very good, walking distance to the terraces! The room is very good, and it matches the photos and descriptions, but the service was almost non-existent.
When we arrived we were received only by kids and a teenager checked us in. No adults were seen on site until the last day of our 3-day stay. On our first morning, we were woken up by a couple trying to enter our room because the kids had checked them in and gave them the key to our room!
It was supposed to have breakfast included, but there was no one there to even ask about it. Internet did not work 2 out of the 3 days we were there. Neither did the hot water. I understand that some of these things might be because it's off-season, but if they can't offer services like breakfast, they should not include it in the hotel description.
