2519 Grande valore per i soldi Recensione di Astor York In attesa di Recensione stavo andando a York per il mercato di Natale e sapendo che spenderei la maggior parte del mio tempo fuori e circa, volevo che il mio alloggio fosse il più economico possibile. Un fine settimana a Astor York mi ha messo indietro meno di 40 sterline, e direi che sono grato di essere rimasto qui per più motivi che solo il prezzo basso. Non mi sono reso conto che il mercato di Natale si chiude molto presto, e mi sono ritrovato all'ostello prima di quanto mi aspettassi. Fortunatamente, c'è un'area comune dove si può guardare Netflix con gli altri ospiti – un bel trattamento alla fine di un giorno freddo. Mi sono acconsentito a essere un po' rimosso dalle vecchie bagni che sembravano direttamente fuori dal 1960s. Ma l'ostello era pulito e ben mantenuto. Il mio dorm 30-bed non mi sentiva troppo pieno, e sono grato per le gabbie sotto le letti. Il mio unico influsso sulla camera da letto sarebbe la mancanza di socket e di luci nei letti; non potevo caricare il mio telefono, perché ero sul pannello superiore, quindi dovevo farlo nella zona comune. Mentre mi serviva solo il frigo, sembrava che la cucina fosse ben rifornita e spaziale, e c’era anche un piccolo bar che faceva un’ora felice, anche se non l’ho mai fatto abbastanza presto per sfruttare. La posizione è a pochi passi dal centro di York, ma è una strada molto facile, ed è anche conveniente per accedere alla stazione ferroviaria. Mi consiglio di salire un po' prima e di camminare lungo il muro antico di Micklegate, che non è lontano dall'ostello. In generale, il mio soggiorno è stato un grande valore per i soldi e consiglio Astor York a qualsiasi viaggiatore solitario.

Excellent location, literally a few minutes walk from the major attractions in York city centre and the train station. The room was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. Very friendly staff let us check in slightly earlier and were really helpful, we could even leave our bags after checking out to save carrying them about all day. The bathroom was a little dated but very clean and had a hairdryer and bath which we like. Child bed was a little low on the ground but functional. The hotel felt very safe as the staff seemed to be around all the time. The bar was nice and calm with lovely views of the river. Plenty little shops such as a little Sainsbury's right around the corner for any supplies. For the money it was excellent and had everything we needed.

L'esperienza migliore che abbiamo avuto. L'hotel era molto pulito. Full di carattere e ci piaceva come decoravano la stanza. Il personale era solo sorprendente e ci guardava alla cena e al colazione. Il cibo era sorprendente anche. Erano persone molto carine e ci piaceva il nostro soggiorno. L'unica downsudr era il parcheggio, non potevamo trovare un posto, ma era così comprensibile il fine settimana di vacanza bancaria. In generale una delle migliori esperienze di soggiorno in un hotel.

Abbiamo soggiornato al capo York per una notte.Abbiamo prenotato una stanza urbana (rm 111). Quando siamo arrivati a York siamo arrivati presto e siamo riusciti a lasciare il bagaglio in sicurezza all'hotel fino a che non ci siamo accolti al 3.pm. Il personale è stato molto amichevole e utile. Dopo un passo in York, verso il basso, ecc. siamo tornati all'hotel e ci siamo prenotati. La stanza era piccola ma solo per un soggiorno di una notte. Grazie per il bene del fan, perché era molto caldo e stufo. Mangiavamo fuori a York, ma abbiamo fatto colazione il giorno dopo. È stato cotto e continentale. Molto bello anche! Il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevole, l'hotel è stato decorato e anche se avevano un matrimonio è stato tranquillo.

La reception è in un vecchio edificio, bellissimo stile retro, residenza nel nuovo edificio decorativo opposto, la superficie è di 30 metri quadrati, 1.8 + 1.5 + 0.8 tre letti, il tono di stile decorativo è come!La debolezza è che non c'è un elettrofoto

At arrival we managed to get the key before the actual check in time. I called the number and the housekeeper very kindly gave me the key card and showed me how to open doors for later on. We were so lucky to have a family room even if it was just the two of us. We stayed in room 3 at ground floor. There was plenty of space and lots of tea and coffee and a small fridge as well. The bathroom is awesome, brand new with a huge shower and very clean. Only thing is the radiators in the room do not work so there is a heater. The room was quite warm but maybe it would be better to have a different heating system for winter. We like staying in Fulford because it's much quieter than the city centre. The bus stop is very close and busses run every 15 minutes. Perfect for us!

First of all I need to say that me and my husband often stay in Novotel in different cities and countries and it always was a sinonym of quality for both of us, but in York something went wrong from the very beginning. 1. We have been rejected to add Accor membership account number to our booking once we arrived, even though we booked via Trip.com and it was nowhere to type it while booking 2. Receiptionist asked me about my nationality and when I said that I am Russian,changed her tone of voice and stated that I can speak Russian if I prefer, but she is not going to reply in Russian as it is a principal position, even though it was confirmed she understands it. That was extremely rude and I have never seen anything like that before. Moreover I did never ask this person if I can speak Russian, cause my English is apparently enough to check in to the hotel. 3. We were said we have to book a time slot to have breakfast, but the next day when we arrived to the breakfast room it was almost completely empty. 4. Dirty cups nearby coffee mashine area. 5. Sanitizers left around completely spoiling how breakfast area looks. Overall the hotel looked quite weary. Talking about what went well: charging points by the bed with the usb were handy.

My 11 year old son and I stayed at The Grand in York for two nights for sightseeing. There is an NCP car park on the same street, which gets patrons 10% discount and it secure. It’s about 12 minutes walk to York Minster Cathedral and about the same to Jorvik Viking Centre-utterly perfect location! The hotel is beautiful and staff are professional, but friendly and we’re super attentive to my overly keen and chatty son!❤️☺️ The pool is lovely and has a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna with trea**ent rooms. We also stumbled across The Cookery School, so we booked a Parent/Child 3 hour cookery lesson for £65 and made and ate Ravioli and Raspberry Semi-fresco-a new experience, but we are both sold and already looking to return! So much to see in beautiful York and this is the perfect location to do it from ❤️☺️

Fortunato di aver soggiornato in una camera doppia tranquilla e pulita sul piano superiore. Tutto funziona bene e come descritto sulla web. Il personale è bello ed efficiente. Tempo di colazione un po 'compagnato, ma si può sempre trovare un seggio in pochi minuti. York è una città così piccola che puoi andare a piedi in qualsiasi luogo.

Great Travelodge about 10 mins walk from the centre of York. Nice updated rooms, with very comfortable bed and super squishy plump pillows. Some road noise but to expected with the location. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit the city.
