A M A Z I N G. We've come for a week long holiday, done many all exclusive before so just did B&B this time. It has not disappointed. The entertainment staff are particularly impressive, all the kids love them, they bring a great atmosphere to the place. La stanza era pulita e ben attrezzata, carichi di tovaglioli ecc. Il cibo è 5star, fresco e molte scelte. Hanno gettato la festa di Halloween finale, non credo che abbiamo capito quanto seriamente l'hanno preso, ma wow. Musica alimentare, bevande, tutto... tutti l'avogliano. Foto da seguire. Così impressionato. Grazie. X

Siamo stati in vacanza presso questo Hotel nel mese di agosto per due settimane. Ottima struttura posizionata direttamente sul mare. All-inclusive limitato perché ci sono dei pacchetti (silver e gold) che ad un prezzo esoso offrono molti più vantaggi. Tranquillità assoluta perché è una struttura che ospita solo adulti. Cibo prettamente per inglesi. Noi italiani per questo siamo un pochino in sofferenza. Pulizia non proprio all'altezza di un 4 stelle. Disponibilità di ombrelloni e lettini (inclusi nel prezzo) nella zona piscina in gran quantità. Pochissimi invece sulla piccola spiaggia che è molto sporca. Non viene mai pulita. Loro dicono che le spiaggette a Cipro sono pubbliche e che quindi loro se ne astengono... Però poi ci piazzano i loro ombrelloni e i loro lettini. Bah,che strano ragionamento! Nota dolente è che al nostro arrivo ci assegnano la camera vista mare che avevamo prenotato, ma il condizionatore non andava. Dopo mille peripezie e dopo ben 5 ore di attesa, troviamo un accordo che ci permetteva di avere un'altra camera più grande, ma senza vista mare. Purtroppo questa camera affacciava sul lato della strada e sotto esalavano di continuo gli odori della cucina e dei cibi che venivano preparati. Per evitare il peggio, vista la situazione, abbiamo accettato. Nota positiva palestra ben attrezzata e ottima animazione.

Last day today. It’s been fantastic. The whole staff have been friendly, polite and courteous and that makes a big difference. The hotel is big but not massive, so there never seemed to be a rush for food at meal times or sun loungers in a morning, life lived at a much slower pace whilst here and we were able to fully switch off and relax. The hotel inside was clean and well kept, the room for us, was perfectly adequate and clean and remained so throughout our stay, but the look is a tad dated if you want to split hairs. Outside is beautiful, 3 lovely pools of a decent size, sun loungers well spaced out, dotted around the pool area and extensive gardens overlooking the sea, leading to a public path that you can easily access and walk down as far as you like. We made it in to paphos harbour (about 2.5k) but this is better done in the evening when it’s not as hot. The food some of the best we’ve had abroad and it punches above its 4 star hotel rating for us and we have stayed at higher rated hotels which were not as good. Breakfast has everything you could want from cereals to full breakfast, pastries to fruit, yoghurts to omelettes. The guy on the egg station was the happiest man Ive seen cooking eggs for that long, ever. I watched him cook fried eggs in particular and it was clear it mattered to him that it look appetising before he served. Lunch we had at one of the cafes outside under the olive trees. Again choice was large and everything we had was cooked fresh and was lovely. Dinner was much the same. Lots of choice, between 2 and 4 cooked meats, veg, different kinds of potatoes, pastas, and some other dishes to suit all tastes. The cheese selection was the largest I’ve seen too and as a cheese lover o was very happy with it. The weather was glorious every day. The type where you open your curtains at the start and go ‘wow it’s already beautiful and sunny’ and it stayed like that all day until the sun went down. There really was nothing we didn’t like about this place and will definitely return. Finally a special mention for Andreas, the assistant hotel manager, who can be seen gliding through the hotel inside and out and who came to speak to us by the pool bar for a few minutes. He was so polite so friendly and it’s not often I have seen that with guests and I thought it worth a mention. On our last night we dined in one of the special restaurants (which was excellent) and he happened to come in again and we spent a further 15 or 20 mins chatting about all sorts of things. A true gentleman and we wish him well. No surprise that we have decided we will return again next year. Keep up the hard work everyone it is worth it and appreciated.

Ivi Mare 5* hotel........ Pro's: - immaculately clean hotel around poolside and rooms and all dining areas - friendly staff - front desk staff very helpful - booking our fav restaurants around Paphos for us and asking if we needed anything else. - Veronica from housekeeping was superb and always greeted us with a smile and a joke each time we saw her. - sunbeds the BEST EVER in all the years we have been coming to Paphos - beats the Asimina and Amavi sunbeds hands down! - food was good - plentiful breakfast, we didn't dine in that much in the evening - as we know so many local Taverna's to eat at. Cons: Not many but key ones: - Pool itself looks very inviting, sadly not accessible to all (my opinion only) as we travelled with someone with a bad knee. There are no gradual steps into the pool like in the Asimina and Amavi (other 5* hotels). The issue my wife had was she couldn't use the pool ladders as the ladders are too narrow to place feet on for her and each step was quite far apart for her so it was difficult getting in the pool - no such issues in other mentioned hotels. In fairness to the Guest Relations staff (who was brilliant) we gave feedback and she said it was on a list of items the hotel are looking to do for improvements - there was a shallower end to use but the steps issue was still the same. Unfortunately due to the pool accessibility itself we feel we cannot return - however I noticed it wasn't an issue for others and there were plenty of people happily using the pool. - return taxi to airport - driver was able to literally walk in - shout our names out incorrectly - which meant he nearly left us there until I thought I had better check with him what was written on his piece of paper - turns out it was US!! luckily I checked. Advice to hotel - I think staff on the front ought to be able to liaise at this stage - they do in other 5* hotels. - we collected our own luggage from the room and left it with reception but then had to collect it from the room behind reception - as did others. Personally I would expect a 5* hotel to go the extra mile - like they do in the Asimina and Amavi. I suppose we could have asked them to do this for us but just feels a bit like the service ought to have been offered. - no poolside staff (apart from bar staff and lifeguards) to help with umbrella's - even just one additional person to assist for those less able to move the shade around - imagine the tips they would get! I note they do this at other 5* hotels. Overall we did enjoy our stay at the hotel and we just feel compared to other hotels of the same star rating the Ivi Mare just needs a few tweaks for this to be a 5* review and for the hotel to be perfect! I don't blame the staff for the negatives - the feedback is for the hotel owners only to consider. Special mention to the lifeguards - superb! always making sure rules were followed - and were friendly.

Un hotel in cui siamo stati molto bene. Posizionato sul mare, attraverso una bellissima passeggiata lungo il mare si arriva al centro di Paphos a piedi in 25 minuti. Non è una struttura troppo grande, ha piscine e spiaggia con erba e sabbia e ottimi lettini. Si può arrivare dall'aeroporto con il bus (2 euro) o con il taxi (30 euro). Ci hanno accolti in hotel con dei deliziosi cioccolatini e del buon spumante. Camera confortevole con wi fi, fronte mare ed un bellissimo panorama. Abbiamo preso la mezza pensione: colazione e cena. Ottima la cucina con piatti anche fatti al momento. C'è anche un negozio in hotel con tutte le cose che possono servirti. Buona qualità/prezzo.

Come ripetenti per la 6a volta ai vestiti di nuoto del Mar Egeo, potrei ripetere solo descrivendo questo splendido vasto resort di vacanza. Questo resort ha tutto per renderlo una vacanza perfetta rilassata; il delizioso cibo nei buffet, la gentilezza e l'aiuto di tutti i dipendenti, la ben conservata verdura e fiori e piscina, ecc.. Si può vedere che la gestione, insieme al personale, lavora costantemente per migliorare e migliorare questo resort. Vorremmo anche sottolineare ancora una volta che il signor Yiannis è un forte giocatore di ruolo chiave in questo processo, amichevole, professionale e trova rapidamente una soluzione ogni volta che incontri un problema, un ammirabile manager che aiuta ovunque possa. Grazie speciali anche a Tony, il direttore del ristorante, sempre amichevole; Elena nel ristorante con un caldo benvenuto; Vinnie il bar offerto al piscina bar con il bar che è pulito e pulito, amichevole e portando gli ospiti in un'atmosfera di vacanza; Signorina Eleni, la custode, un caldo acconciatore, facendo le camere spice e spa con un bel sorriso; Helena, una vestitrice di capelli molto amichevole e professionale che puoi prenotare attraverso il bagno; il signor Pambolero, il barmane che porta i cocktail a un altro livello, È certamente un numero uno nel suo campo. Grazie ancora a ALL'AVVERO per aver reso la nostra permanenza memorabile e meravigliosa. Ci vediamo presto!

The hotel is only a 20 minute journey from the airport and first drop off. You can see planes landing and taking off from the beach but they do not effect the peace and quiet on the coast sunbeds over looking the sea.It is a 400 room hotel with lifts and ramps for access. Bus stop outside front of hotel or a 40 minute walk to the harbour along the coastal walk. The hotel isnt overly big but has different areas to sit, gardens childrens pool, main pool (floats allowed), quieter pool, slides. indoor bar, cafe bar area, terrace bar, reception area, outdoor snack bar, chinese buffet (lunch time), main restaurant, evening entertainment room. Returned to this hotel for 10 nights. Room was clean and comfortable for two. The air-con worked well and the shower was hot with fresh towels daily. The view over the pool and sea was lovely with a small balcony to watch the sun go down. I found the bed comfortable and slept well. Cleaners came in every day and filled the fridge with fresh bottled water, they forgot once and we asked the cleaner who apologised and gave us one straight away. One thing about this hotel, the slightest problem you have, once you mention it to a member of the staff or management and it is sorted straight away. fresh towels daily. coffee /tea in room. Safe (payable) The main restaurant is set up well with larger tables towards the back of the restaurant and some outside seating. Various stations with salads, pizza, roast meat, theme nights, vegetarian options and Cypriot dishes, fresh bread , puddings, fruit and cheese. If you have any food requests just ask, they will help where they can. Help yourself soft drinks, water, wine and beer, but if you require something else you can bring it from the bar. The waiters and waitresses are friendly, welcoming and fast at clearing the tables. Always managment around in the restaurant. If you have a special occasion mention it, balloons, fizz and cake will be supplied. Chinese at lunch time is lovely, I often took mine into the main restaurant so i could have the best of both worlds. Never used the snack bar but there were sandwiches ( i prefer a toastie) burgers, fish fingers, bolognaise, salad pots and ice-cream and in the afternoon waffles with sauces!! The outside bar is manned from 10am until 6ish with friendly staff serving, beer, soft drinks, cocktails and spirits. Coffee , soft drinks, beer and water machines in the snack bar for help yourself. Staff are always clearing tables and keeping the area clean and tidy. The coffee bar area bar was not manned but waiters/waitresses served the area which was quieter than the main bar area of an evening. The main bar is relaxing with comfy furniture and a juke box with staff circling to take orders at your table. Local beer in bottles or on draught, local spirits and cocktail menu with special cocktails given out from the bar staff. The outside terrace is waiter/ waitress service as well and has a good atmosphere live singers/music on the terrac

We have returned for a second time to the Leonardo Maris Cypria bay . What an excellent hotel this is.The Customer Relations team work tirelessly to make your stay as pleasant as possible.Everything from your daily room cleaning to the delicious meals that are served all go towards enhancing your holiday in Cyprus.

This is the most amazing hotel for children we have ever been to. We travel a lot and nothing will beat the children’s entertainment. From 10 in the mornings til 6 at night. So much to do my twins enjoyed everything. So many to list they are nearly 12 and were never bored. What an entertainment team Chris and Gemma definitely deserve a mention for going above and beyond as do stu and Trevor at the football academy but the whole team went above and further. What a great place. Our first time in Cyprus and we will definitely return for sure. Something for everyone. Yannis in the food hall always welcomed us every time we ate he also deserves this mention as I don’t think he ever went home to his family to make our stay the best. We really didn’t want to leave this holiday and wish we had done more than a week. They all came to say goodbye to us all. We’re back in rainy England now and wish we could go back for sure. If you’re looking for a fantastic holiday with children you definitely should go here. I’ve recommended to friends already and only been back a few days. Thanks to everyone at the holiday village. This hotel was voted the best last year 8 years in a row and I can see why. Room’s spacious. Food incredible loads all the time. Pools massive. No need to put towels down there is so much space. Only 25 mins from airport we did one trip to the zoo and I’ve never been to a zoo with such relaxed and well cared for animals. The parrot show was brilliant. The elephants you can go in and feed them ( we didn’t as time ran out on us ) it is £50 euros but the experience would have been great. You need to take cash for the zoo we ate there and it was reasonably priced. Lots of walking. We didn’t get to see it all as the coach trip was only 3 half hours. You need probably another couple of hours if you want to see it all. Very hot the day we went so we were quite happy with the time we had we’ve laughed so much. Are too much. And drank too much but had a ball. I don’t normally do reviews but felt definitely had to give this holiday a big shout out. A lot of holidays we done and paid less but this will take some beating for better times. Looking for next year to book already. Thanks to all at the holiday village for the amazing memories made for our family.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, beds really comfortable, hotel clean, food lovely (didn't even bother going to a la carte restaurants) with lots of choice, staff friendly but professiona and always willing to help. Loved the extra touches like slippers, dressing gowns, iron/ironing board and lots of coat hangers! Savannah from TUI did a good job. Didn't use the pool but did swim in the sea which was lovely even though it was November and it was nice to have clean beach towels left daily in the room. It was our first stay at the hotel but felt relaxed and looked after from day one, would recommend it to anyone visiting Cyprus and will definitely be going back.
