This is the first time my wife and I have visited Cyprus. Our trip was organised through TUI who made suggestions to help us choose the type of holiday to relax in and celebrate my 80th birthday. It was a superior, adults only, TUI Blue hotel. What we didn’t expect, was such a perfect hotel in such a perfect setting. The grounds are stunning with mature palm trees and a view of the beach. The sunsets are out of this world and can be viewed from the balconies of many of the rooms from as early 6pm (2nd wk March.) From the moment you step in to the front entrance, you are met by modern grandeur and a through view of the sea. Our room was similar to most others in layout but with more detailing. The double mattress was thick and very wide and premium quality as are the pillows. Everything works perfectly ( unlike many we’ve experienced per the years) Hot water come through within seconds in the combined bath/shower with towel rails accessible without having to step out first. All the staff have impeccable manners and exude kindness and smiles. One could not ask for a nicer environment. We chose an all inclusive package that just has to be the cheapest way, after looking at the prices of pay as you go. The choice of food varies every day with multiple choices and is beautifully presented and cooked. So many guests we spoke to, return again to this hotel and seem surprised at it being our first visit. One was on her 13th visit. The whole hotel is always impeccable all the time. The gardens and loungers as well as the pool area are cleaned before most wake up. Every inch, I often watched them at work. A nice little touch are the staff who walk around at intervals to take drinks orders. Yes, even these are free on the all inclusive. Health permitting, we will return next year, but for the best chance of temps of 20c-23c, from the middle of March, as with full sun, the light breeze is most welcome and as it’s a quiet time of the year, it never felt crowded. We have no connections whatsoever with these companies, or any people who work for them. Paul Elphick.
