La prima volta che sono venuto a Yerevan, questo negozio è nel centro della città, a pochi passi dalla piazza centrale, e ci sono molti posti dove mangiare. After four years away, my recent stay at this hotel was just as I remembered. The front desk staff is outstanding. They are friendly, helpful, and will go out of their way for guests. The breakfast crew, in the restaurant area, was just as wonderful. If there was anything I needed, I just had to ask. The hotel is across the street from Yerevan Park (recently renamed Diana Apcar Park). The park is a popular destination for locals. There are dining options in the park and on both sides of the street. Well known tourist destinations, such as Republic Square and Northern Avenue, are both short walks away. You will miss out on nothing, by staying at this location. And, you will gain so much more, from the amazing hospitality.

Upon arrival to Yerevan our driver was directed to an address other the one I had booked with close proximity to Republic Square. Landlord carried our luggage's up from back alley of a restaurant, metal door cement stairs, and showed us his unit trying to promote it. After long arguments we agreed to stay three days. This was my first visit to homeland and it took me time to recover from the shock. At noon and after we checked out, next landlord called to tell us the address is going to be other the one we had booked online too. At this point, it was clear this was organized online hack of system or bookings. I told the landlord we are heading to the booked address to meet us there. We had luggage's and it started to rain. I had to let my daughter watch the luggage's at Republic square and walk to the unit where the second booking was. Two security guards approached us took the phone and gave it back saying you have no booking here. Four hours back and forth with no place to stay and under the rain in foreign land with my husband shivering under the tree and daughter stunned at the unprofessional behavior's of the people who are supposed to be in hospitality business and me running around looking for a place to stay and at the point of giving up, our path crossed with Manager of National Hotel, Sophia. Suddenly, we were at the care of a professional in hotel management and hospitality expert. She matched the price we were going to pay and gave us a unit on the spot. National hotel staff were ready to help us with different services and we settled down at a great location with all the amenities a tourist requires resting and catching up with where we left off. Next think we know, we are on a tour bus, touring the whole city. We met all kinds of people who made a difference. Sophia was the first to remind us that she was there for us if we needed anything. Pleasant to talk to, showed empathy, was responsive to our needs in a way that we decided to stick around and go nowhere else during the term of our visit. Fortunately we were able to cancel our next booking as well which had all of a sudden dropped from the list of ***********. I will follow up and investigate this further but in the meantime I owe Sophia a big thank you. I thank God for this miracle. I recommend the National Hotel and you can depend on it's manager Sophia. You will not be disappointed. Also, don't trust online booking as pictures you see might not exist and alternative solutions might not be what you were promised in the first place. Not all hotels provide same standard of service. We were lucky to end up with one that has high standards to deliver and commi**ent to satisfy visitors. We are forever gratefull. Amo questo hotel. E'senza difetti. La piscina era fantastica e il personale era molto professionale. Cerca di chiedere una stanza di fronte alla piazza principale. Gli unici biglietti erano che l'hotel voleva pagarmi per il check-in precoce. Non mi piaceva, rifiutavo e qualcosa di sorprendente e potevo controllare in anticipo gratuitamente!! Le bevande erano anche un tipo di prezzo all'hotel, ma se si passa attraverso la strada sono metà del prezzo. Ho usato il vestitore di capelli al spa dell'hotel e per $40 ho lavato quel grigio proprio fuori dai miei capelli!!! Questo hotel è molto nuovo e è in stato di infestazione!!! Mi sarebbe rimasto lì ancora se fossi mai tornato in Armenia !!!

Ho prenotato una stanza standard w/out colazione o mangiare così non ho commento sul cibo. In generale, la mia esperienza in questo hotel è classificata 4star, mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso dal livello di servizio e alloggi forniti a un prezzo così basso. Raccomanderò questo hotel a amici e a famiglia e mi aspetto di rimanere con loro di nuovo in futuro.
