Great location and very good service

Old school hotel. Good service and location. Gym very basic and Need to book sauna an hour in advance.

The hotel is comfortable and its location is convenient for sightseeing. The service is very good.

Siamo stati per 3 notti avendo pagato il totale della cifra in anticipo. Arrivando in struttura ci hanno comunicato che non hanno stanze libere e ci hanno proposto una stanza sporca su piano terra ancora in costruzione dove c’era soltanto un letto e nient’altro. Abbiamo accettato per non dormire per strada perché era già mezzanotte. Alla fine ci hanno rifiutato di fare rimborso almeno la metà del prezzo della stanza. In portineria la signora Ruzanna ( che fa parte dell’amministrazione) è stata scortese nel suo modo di parlare e ha detto che lavorando in questo modo non hanno mai avuto problemi 😰. Bruttissima esperienza. Non torneremo mai più.

Since twenty years I come in this hôtel. All the staff is kind, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Syuzi Ayrumyan the guest expert ambassador . She is professional with a keen eye. And it’s a big pleasure to find her like a member of the family.

I had a short but very enjoyable weekend stay here and if you’re looking for a hotel with great service, perfect location and classic luxury then you’ll enjoy staying here. The staff arranged a very effective airport transfer for me and checking in was a welcoming and delightful experience, with the staff throughout the hotel speaking great English. Despite my very early arrival I was grateful they were able to find me a room, helped I assume by the fact the hotel seemed very quiet throughout my visit. There’s two lifts serving the accommodation floors, which are painfully slow, but the glass design overlooking the bar area detract from this, and the ‘day of the week’ carpet changed daily is a luxury touch you don’t often see anymore. My room was on the top floor and a standard category. It was a luxury feeling room and I really liked the clean decor. All the amenities you could imagine were present and it would be really comfortable even for an extended stay. Electric sockets were at both sides of the bed, plenty of lighting options and effective air conditioning which wasn’t too loud. It was also possible to open the window. There was a fully stocked mini bar as well as complimentary bottled water. The bathroom was small with a shower rather than bath, but it was perfectly clean and again had all the small touches you’d want from a top end hotel. Housekeeping proactively checked the do not disturb sign during the day and did a great job even late into the afternoon, although on one occasion the water bottles weren’t restocked. The lounge and bar area on the ground floor is spacious and comfortable, but best of all is open 24 hours a day. They offer food and a wide range of drinks, with the friendly staff able to make recommendations and engaging in good conversation. It was never very busy during my stay but it was still a pleasant place to relax late in the evening and a perfect spot to catch up with some work. I found the location ideal, just a few steps from some key sights and surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. With the hotel reception able to offer advice or arrange any form of transport there’s no need to feel cut off! There’s quite a bit of art to admire throughout the hotel and small displays on each floor, including a shoe polishing machine outside the lift which is a good touch. Checking out in the very early hours was a seamless experience and next time I’m in the city I’ll certainly be staying here again!

I visited for 4 nights with a friend.I would also recommend this hotel for couples or business trips. It’s perfectly located in the city centre at Charles Aznavour Square with a wonderful fountain view from most of the beautiful suites. The rooms are lovely and we stayed at the Kochar Grand Suite which was once a home to a famous Armenian artist. The service is great - the staff is super friendly. We enjoyed the spa and the rooftop pool as well. I could only recommend this place.

I took 1 month membership for the hotel pool and it appeared a nightmare I got harassed from pool manager Syuzi. I have allergy to the cigarettes and it is written on the wall no smoking in the area of the pool but everyday people sit smoke cigarettes, cigars on the corner of the pool smoke is going everywhere reaching to the pool and there's a full smoke in the changing room when you enter to change your cloths you breath this disgusting smoke every day I went to talk to manager Syuzi about issue and it started a nightmate she was not open to feedback at all got emotional no listening skills started to behave very annoying she said okay I have power to cut your membership maybe it was mistake we took you for our pool. She called security on me and was behaving very rude. During my visits I took food couple of times: Greek salad; ceasdar salad; buffalo wings and to me their have poor quality food after buffalo wings I felt coupe of days sick with my stomach and when I talked my feedback with Syuzi she told me couple of times they have best food in Yerevan she has very annoying answeres not open to feedbacks.

Another wonderful stay. The location is fantastic and the hotel is a great place to stay capturing plenty of history. Staff were wonderful, especially at the breakfast service. A special thanks to Elen. Also to Narine, who was at the pool service.

Everything was ideal in this hotel: location, service, breakfast. Very safe place. Staff is careful and professional. I had a small problem which was solved quickly and professionally despite late hours. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks to the Hotel team for our nice&cozy stay!.

Grand Hotel Yerevan has a bit of faded glory feeling to it, given that this is a rather senior hotel. The location, however, is really quite good and is located a short walk from the beaten path, which allows it to be quiet and convenient simultaneously. The rooms are also quite comfortable, clean, and nice. On balance, I think this hotel is a very good choice for Yerevan, for business or pleasure. The breakfast was also quite good and I was generally pleased with the service.

I spent three nights in Yerevan Grand Hotel. The hotel and the rooms are new and elegant. The service is very good and also the elegant bar has a wide menu with good products. The hotel is located in the beautiful Charles Aznavour square with a nive fountain.

I frequently stay at grand hotel yerevan as it’s the most convenient and historic in the center of Yerevan. The cleanliness, location convenience, high end service and amazing staff all make my stay wonderful each time I visit. I have brought guests from abroad who have all enjoyed staying at the hotel as well. The guest experience ambassador Syuzi Ayrumyan always makes sure that all my needs are taken care of and that I have an amazing time. She makes everyone feel at home, organizes very fun brunches, get togethers and is always interesting to spend time with her. Much thanks to Syuzi and the whole Grand Hotel staff. Highly Recommended!
