"This was my first time in Yangzhou, and I'm so glad I booked this Mercure hotel. From the moment I walked in, all the staff were incredibly warm and polite. The hotel is conveniently located right by Dongguan Street, making it easy to get around, and there's parking available downstairs if you're driving. We were even given a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise! The upgraded room had an amazing view; I could see the Grand Canal directly from the balcony. The room also had many thoughtful little touches, like a toilet seat cover and face towels. After checking out, I accidentally left something behind, and the hotel proactively called me and arranged to mail it back. My overall experience with both Yangzhou and the Mercure hotel was absolutely fantastic!"

"The decor is very new and stylish, giving off a refined and elegant vibe. The room boasts a fully functional smart toilet – a pleasant surprise, as many hotels in this price range only offer pseudo-smart toilets with just heated seats. There's also a capsule coffee machine, which definitely elevates the room's perceived class. The bedding is excellent; I slept very comfortably. Breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, and the food tastes great with fresh ingredients. I noticed a tour group checking in, which makes sense given the great value for money."

"This time I went to Yangzhou with my children, so I chose this parent-child hotel. It was better than expected. First of all, the hotel environment is very clean and tidy, and the decoration is high-end and elegant. The most noteworthy thing is that it is very suitable for parents and children. There are free ocean balls to play on, and the swimming pool with moderate water temperature is also very good. The weather in Yangzhou was quite hot during the few days of the trip, especially in the afternoon when the temperature reached 36 degrees. The children didn’t want to go out to the attractions, so they simply swam directly in the hotel swimming pool. After swimming, they continued to play ocean balls. They had a lot of fun. Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will firmly choose this parent-child hotel!"

"The place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return."
