"Были в феврале, на улице был минус, но в номере стоял обогреватель и был кондиционер. Не замерзли. В отели три онсена, один общий для мужчин один для женщин и один приватный. Так же дают ключь от 9 общесвенных онсенов на территори деревни. Хозяйка может забрать или отвезти до ближайшей станции, так же отвозила нас на ужин и в манкей парк. Завтрак традиционный. И в целом отель традиционный японский, советую кому интересно именно пожить в традиционном отеле. Но учтите спать нужно на татаме и ходить в тапочках, в оьуви не пускают, ну и мыться в онсене."

"E'molto consigliabile.Abbiamo chiamato l'hotel dopo essere arrivati alla stazione di Thompin, e la signora guidava molto entusiasta per portarci all'hotel.La posizione dell'hotel è buona. La città calda e calda è proprio al fio. Pochi minuti a piedi per arrivare al ponte.
L'hotel è uno stile giapponese, molto pulito, con il suo caloroso interno al piano superiore.La colazione e la cena sono molto delicati.Se vuoi prendere un autobus per bruciare la montagna di fronte e uno sci, la stazione è al fiore dell'hotel. Posso raggiungere a piedi per tre minuti."

"My stay at this ryokan in Shibu Onsen was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was impeccable. The ryokan features private onsen that can be booked in advance, offering an intimate and serene experience. Soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters while gazing at the surrounding natural beauty was a highlight of the trip.

"유다나카역에 도착하여 핸드폰으로 전화를 걸으려고 했었으나 전화가 되지 않아 역직원 분의 도움으로 송영서비스를 요청 할 수 있었구요 시간이 얼마 걸리지 않아 직원분이 오셔서 빠르고 편하게 이동 할 수 있었어요. 도착했을때부터 문앞까지 나와서 친절하게 응대해주셨고 근처 온천 투어, 료칸 시설물 이용에 대해서 친절하게 잘 설명해주었어요. 저희는 4인 가족(성인:2명, 아이:2명)인데 숙소는 작지 않았어요 입실 당일 저녁식사와 다음날 아침식사가 제공이 되었구요 식사는 너무 맛있게 잘 먹었구 음식을 서빙하시는 직원분들도 너무 친절하셨어요. 저녁식사를 마치고 방에 돌아오면 포근한 이불이 셋팅되어 있어서 편안하게 쉴 수 있어요. 다음날 퇴실할때도 송영서비스를 통해 원숭이공원으로 이동이 가능했구요 전체적으로 직원분들이 다들 너무 친절하셔서 기분이 좋았어요 시설도 깨끗하고 주변에 볼거리도 많아서 다음에 꼭 다시 가고 싶은 곳이에요 다른 분들에게도 적극 추천합니다"

"I had an excellent experience at Amagawaso. When I arrived, I was greeted with sencha, warm steamed buns, and the sign-up sheet for the private onsen. Staying at Amagawaso felt cozy and familiar, like visiting family. The inn has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Even had some sakura right outside my bedroom window. The owners are so warm and kind. They made me feel right at home. Amagawaso is just a short walk from the public baths throughout Shibu Onsen and the local bus stops which take you up to Snow Monkey Park. I would certainly stay here again."

"Our family made a special trip from Tokyo to Nagano, and besides exploring the surrounding attractions, watching the snow monkeys soaking in the hot springs of Nozawa, and visiting the Togakushi Shrine, the highlight of this trip was staying at Issa no Komichi Biyu no Yado.
Initially, we had modest expectations, thinking of it as just another experience. However, upon arriving in the snowy Yudanaka Shibu Onsen, we were immediately impressed by the warm and professional hospitality. From the thoughtful reception to the exquisite dinner and the unique public onsen, every aspect exceeded our expectations and left us pleasantly surprised. This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an unforgettable journey into the heart of Japanese onsen culture.
If you’re planning a trip to Nagano, this is definitely a place worth visiting to experience the perfect blend of hot springs and nature!"

"Incredible staff, they were so helpful to us in getting to and from the hotel. If you want a unique and truly unforgettable experience I would recommend staying at shimaya during your time at Yamonochi."

Отличное место за приемлемую цену.
Вкусный огромный ужин и завтрак. Маленькие, но очень приятные источники. Сам номер довольно большой, поместится больше двух человек. Вид в основном на город, но нам очень понравилось, вокруг можно погулять и поставить печати. В доме есть огромная библиотека с мангой, настольные игры, но на японском.
Хозяйка приятная женщина, все нам рассказала, показала, утром на следующий день отвезла нас к снежным обезьянам, а когда мы вернулись, отвезла нас обратно на станцию.
Однозначно рекомендуем!"

AamychowkwLove this ryokan! The service was just amazing! We arrived the ryokan feeling cold and asked where we could get some heat pads and was told that since the ryokan provides free shuttle to train station, they could send us to convenient store. And before it, the staff came back with some mini heat pads for us to use for the meanwhile. There was also paid shuttle to snow monkey park (500 yen per pax one way) that you can arrange with them. We had a tatami room, it was spacious and the staff came to the room to do the check in and served tea and welcome snack to us. The ryokan guests are entitled to go to nine onsens around the area for free. The ryokan provides yukatas and all necessities for it. The meals were sumptuous and super yummy. Overall, a fantastic ryokan experience for us!

BBryce van de LaarFrom the moment you enter Kokuya Ryokan, be prepared to leave the real world behind and fully immerse yourself in the experience. You swap your shoes for slippers at the door and don’t see them again until you leave. You will receive a warm welcome from polite and gentle-mannered staff, get taken up to your beautiful room, and once you’ve changed into your traditional yukata, it’s time to let the relaxation begin. The multi-course dinner will probably be one of the best meals you’ve had in your life, with many unusual textures and flavors to try. The futons are comfortable, and your room is kept toasty warm. There are even skincare products to keep you pampered and moisturized between soaks in the onsen. Honestly, you won’t even need to open your suitcase while you’re there.
The staff will take you through all the logistics when you arrive, but there are some things that might be useful to know in advance.
- The ryokan sends a shuttle to Yudanaka station at about 15:00 to collect new arrivals, so time your journey to take advantage of this benefit.
- The ryokan also offers guests the opportunity to catch a shuttle to the Snow Monkey Park immediately after breakfast the next morning.
- After you leave the ryokan, they will take your luggage down to the coffee shop opposite the station, so you don’t need to worry about those logistics.
- Trains from Yudanaka back to Nagano leave at 12:30 and 15:30.
- The ryokan itself has several private onsens that you can reserve for a 45-minute slot. Because the onsens are on the property, you can go in with your partner or travel companions regardless of gender. It’s a boutique hotel, so you don’t have to worry about not getting access to all the onsens you want.
- The ryokan is on the main road of the Shibu Onsen town. The hotel will give you a key so you can wonder down the main road, visiting any of the public onsens you wish - however, with so many gorgeous and more private onsens in the hotel itself, you probably won’t have time or the desire for this.
- Also, there is a coffee machine in the room! (I was worried about having to survive without coffee, and this turned out to be an unfounded concern).
We had an incredible and totally indulgent time at Kokuya. Experiencing a traditional ryokan is a privilege that you should try at least once if you can. And adding the Snow Monkeys in give the trip a double purpose, making it that much more memorable. The only thing that would have made the trip better is if we had been allowed to linger longer over every course of our dinner.

Il ryokan condiviso è bellissimo, pulito e ampio. Il gioiello privato è anche unico e confortevole.
La colazione era grande e deliziosa, portata nella tua stanza.
Gli ospiti ryokan hanno anche accesso a tutti i 9 bagni pubblici Shibu onsen.
Siamo stati davvero grati per avere la possibilità di rimanere qui, grazie mille Yumoto!

CChuree WungSiamo molto impressionati dal servizio dell'hotel.L'hotel rende il viaggio conveniente e tranquillo.Ci sono pick-up e drop-out dalla stazione Yudanaka all'hotel e drop-out a Monkey onsen.L'hotel è in buona posizione, nel cuore di Shibu Onsen, La birra, il vino bianco e il vino rosso nel frigorifero della stanza sono liberi.La ciotola non è molto grande ma pulita.La cena e il colazione sono freschi e deliziosi.Il Shibu Hotel è un ottimo hotel,vale la pena di soggiornare.

UUtente ospiteSome of the best customer service we've ever experienced. Ms. Abe was wonderful and her English was excellent. The outdoor onsen was perfect, truly beautiful. A big, well landscaped area, truly relaxing. All guests get to reserve 30 minutes of private use each evening, which was wonderful, but you can also go back during men's time, women's time, or mixed if you want to enjoy some more. The breakfast was also very good, and the room was sizeable. This was our favourite stay in Japan.

The place is super grand and 2 onsens. A Instagram worthy one that the males and females get to use it at different timings. The shower stuff in the onsen are mediocre though. No fancy facial stuff for women unlike some other onsens at this price range.
We had breakfast and dinner for the 2 nights. And well worth it. But you have to follow a fixed timing and we felt a bit rushed but otherwise it was really great and service perfect.
We had one the biggest rooms I believe Room 716. Had a sitting area and also a sleeping area. Easily fits 8 persons. We were only 2. In the day they kept the futons and brought it out at night. Towels changed every night.
There is a van that goes straight to Mount Yokoteyama ski resort. The receptionist didn't seem to know about it but you could try to Google. It was a complimentary ride to and fro if you bought the lift tickets. Took only like 30 mins to get there. You can get rentals at hotels there.

WWuyayizhiIl servizio di trasferimento dell'hotel alla stazione di Yudanaka mi ha fatto un'ottima prima impressione. Sebbene le strutture siano un po' datate, il personale è molto cordiale, la camera è molto spaziosa e c'è una sorgente termale privata. Ogni mattina, l'hotel offre anche un servizio gratuito di trasferimento per lo Snow Monkey Park. Tuttavia, c'è una piccola pecca nel servizio che ho riscontrato personalmente. Al momento del check-in, l'hotel mi ha informato che il ritorno dallo Snow Monkey Park era previsto per le 12:00, giusto in tempo per l'autobus delle 12:30 per Nagano, ma in realtà erano le 12:30 del giorno dopo. Ho dovuto prendere l'autobus successivo per tornare a Nagano. Dato che c'erano meno autobus, era in ritardo di circa un'ora e mezza.

UUtente ospiteLocated just within 3min from Yudanaka station, Raki Onsenryokan is run by a Chinese family. As a quiet town on its own, no one was tending to the reception when I arrived, after ringing the bell, a lady came down to help with the check in - very straightforward. I believe the family stays in the same building as they said if we ever needed anything, we could just ring the bell at the reception. Obviously I had booked a room too big for a solo traveller as this was the only room left as ”non-smoking”. Toilet and sink are at two different parts of the room which was a little inconvenient. Ryokan offers free drive (15min) TO snow monkey park, but not return, so please cater at least 35min to walk from park exit to the bus stop. Ryokan also provided a hearty breakfast, overall for the price paid it was a decent stay!

They gave me yukata and towel and changed it every day. I had a tea and enjoyed it on my balcony. I tried a futon at first time in my life.
I had my own reserved table for breakfast.

Actually staff was so polite! It is seems like you are someone important.
Actually the only one minus that you can't go to all 9 Shibu Onsen's baths, but just to 9th bath only. But the hotel has its own bath even open-air.
It was really nice and comfortable accommodation.
