I stopped here with my partner for a few days after working in Fujian - my return flight was from Xiamen. Good place for taxis to drop off and pick up. Tonnes of restaurants within walking distance. Chinese is the language spoken by staff. Checked in with a little help from a translator app. There's a washing machine and dryer that's free to use on the top floor. Chinese breakfast was fine. Great shower pressure and comfortable beds. I opted for a sea view and enjoyed it. It's 30 min taxi from Xiamen Airport. I'd go back if I'm stopping Xiamen.

Dista circa 3 minuti a piedi dalla fermata dell'autobus aeroportuale Watari Line.
È a 18 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metropolitana di Zhenghai Road, ma la strada lungo il percorso è una strada commerciale, quindi non ti annoierai.
C'è un minimarket (penso sia un 7-Eleven) e un ristorante che vende xiao long bao ecc., che sono aperti fino a tarda notte.
Nonostante fosse una camera singola, sono state fornite due bottiglie d'acqua, ciabatte usa e getta e ciabatte.
Potevo sentire il rumore proveniente dalle altre stanze, ma non mi dava molto fastidio.
L'andamento dei costi è stato buono.

Recentemente sono rimasto in questo hotel, e ho prenotato una stanza senza finestre, e nonostante la mancanza di una finestra, ho avuto una bella notte di sonno. La stanza stessa era molto pulita e di buona dimensione, quindi era un plus.
Il personale era incredibilmente carino e utile per tutta la mia permanenza, rendendo l’esperienza molto più piacevole, e il prezzo non era troppo cattivo, considerando la qualità della stanza e del servizio.
Un piccolo punto di svantaggio è che la posizione dell'hotel è un po' sbagliata. Anche se non un problema, vale la pena notare se si guarda il nome dell’hotel e suppone che sarà proprio nella strada degli shopping.
In generale, ho avuto un'esperienza positiva e in futuro mi premerebbe prenotare una stanza qui.

Posizione e trasporti: è proprio vicino alla strada pedonale ed è facile da trovare. Puoi prendere un taxi per le attrazioni circostanti in 20 minuti.
Ambiente e servizio: mi piace sempre soggiornare negli hotel di Huazhu. Inutile dire che la reception è sempre pronta a soddisfare tutte le richieste.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

UUtente ospiteAvrei prenotato altri hotel, perché la stanza non è abbastanza. Trip.com mi ha aiutato a cambiare la casa. Il servizio del capo è molto entusiasta. Il doppio è troppo vicino all'ascensore. Temo che non possiamo influenzare il sonno dei bambini. Il capo ha aggiunto due letti a due grandi camere e ha inviato champagne ai bambini.

EExpatQuesto hotel è stato più alto della media considerando l'ora dell'anno e gli hotel vicini. Non posso dire che il mio soggiorno è stato molto buono qui per qualche cosa. Quando ho controllato la procedura di passaporto e tutto è stato completato. Il processo doveva essere ripreso dopo quella notte. L'acqua usciva mentre io rimase lì, ma lo ripararono entro 20 minuti. L'hotel e la spiaggia vicini stavano costruendo, così ho avuto un sacco di rumore che usciva dalla finestra al mattino. La posizione è buona perché è vicino alla spiaggia, ma il pranzo annunciato è all'hotel accanto a essa. Ho chiesto all'app Trip.com di aggiornare le informazioni per l'hotel perché il colazione incluso non era quello che servirebbero di solito perché confermavano che dipendeva dal numero di ospiti. Non potevo mangiare il cibo che mi hanno offerto e non erano disposti a regolare il prezzo. trip.com mi ha offerto monete di viaggio, ma il mio soggiorno complessivo era deludente perché anche la porta dell'auto aveva dei ritardi. C'erano cose come i tacchi di tè o le swab di cotone che ho chiesto di avere in camera, ma nessuno di loro è offerto. La vista è molto bello. Il personale di pulizia è molto amichevole. Tuttavia, la loro zona di colazione era solo una sala da pranzo vuota con piatti vuoti e avevano una famiglia che faceva temporaneamente piatti di ciò che avevano deciso. Credo che questo hotel debba avere un po' di amore e di attenzione, soprattutto considerando che gli hotel vicini stanno migliorando le proprie proprietà. Ritengo che le tariffe avrebbero dovuto essere più basse considerando l’intera costruzione nelle passeggiate dietro l’hotel. Ho visto un totale di tre membri del personale e poi la famiglia di tre fare il colazione nei due giorni. Staff at the hotel are attentive and conscientious, however overly zealous about upselling the benefits of the club lounge rooms. Club lounge is small, doesn’t have much to offer by way of snacks. Very limited food options at breakfast. Doesn’t open of offer anything around lunchtime and has limited options for dinner. Ok if you’re a drinker, but range of spirits is small.
Didn’t feel I received value for money for the upgrade. My clients and I ended up eating at the main restaurant for breakfast, which was not included in the club price?
Also, the views from the club floor rooms were not river views- we overlooked the noisy bar street at the building across the road.
Had a problem getting fruit to my room over my 4 day stay, so had to go out and buy Bananas for myself.
Another issues was that despite leaving the room available and arranging with reception for housekeeping to clean the room in time for me to have a video conference call without interruptions, they did not and so, i was interrupted during my call and had to repeatedly explain and deal with housekeeping insisting on coming in!
The last straw for me was when reception neglected to extend my stay as requested the day before and so I had issues with my card and with checking in again, so I simply booked into another, more welcoming hotel.
Overall, the hotel is professional and well managed, but they do seem to have some problems co-ordinating back of house teams.

UUtente ospiteMy elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location.
When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness.
From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish.
The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street.
A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel.
There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel.
We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50.
I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

UUtente ospiteReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
