For what we paid for the room for one night I just expected a lot better. Booked the whole spa package, two hour thermal journey, evening meal, room for the night and breakfast. There were loads of silverfish on the bathroom floor in the morning!! Half the TV channels didn't work. The light on the vanity mirror didn't work. I asked for a couple more decaf coffee pods for the room and was told there was a small charge, surely they're making enough money on the overpriced room?! And the evening meal in The Orangery (you'll have to see my separate review for them) was so disappointing. When checking out and asked how our stay was, I expressed all these issues without much of an apology or any great interest from the receptionist. "There's a discount code here (offered to everyone) so if you book again with us you'll get 10% off" Well I certainly won't be doing now, if you'd offered more of an apology or any compensation I might have changed my mind but certainly not recommend staying here now. The spa I can't fault, visited several times but just so very disappointed on what was meant to be a relaxing anniversary break.
