Il suono dell'aria era piuttosto alto, ma rispetto al suono del doccia, non era relativamente cattivo.La pressione del flusso d'acqua rende il suono più di 5 minuti prima che diventasse normale. Ci aspettavamo che Fairmount fosse più standard di quanto non ci fosse.

As the title would suggest, you need be aware that your car may be broken into when staying at this hotel. I always check out the hotels I stay at on TripAdvisor before booking and I did see that this was a problem, but thought never in a million years would we be the target of such a thing. Not the case. Before leaving to start our day I noticed a note slipped under our door that there was an issue with our car and to visit the front desk. It didn't even occur to me that it would be this, I thought it was because we were parked in the red area, outside the hotels green area. The manager was called when I got to the front desk and he informed me that our car was broken into. I will say, they handled the situation very well. The front desk clerk, the manager that I spoke to, the security guard that helped to tape up the window and the clean up crew that were there with garbage cans and an industrial sized shopvac all handled the situation very well. As it turns out...from what we could see there were about 6 or so other cars that were broken into. After the shock sunk in and anger and frustration surfaced, I went back to the manager to see if there was some sort of compensation that could be offered. There was, which I appreciate. If this happens to you, don't be afraid to ask. Needless to say, no matter how nice the room was or how great the lounge and lounge staff were, I'll never stay here again. I will look for a hotel with a private parking garage or at least a more secure parking situation or find an airbnb.

Fantastic location? City bus stops right outside which could take you downtown Winnipeg for a shopping, or to restaurants. About 25 steps to the Winnipeg airport. Could not be a better location for travelers.

A nicely located hotel in Winnipeg to make memories! The professional staff complemented this gorgeous property, equipped with ballrooms, restaurants, a spa, parking, and plenty to do within walking distance. Two weddings took place in the hotel during our Saturday night stay, providing some fun people & event watching throughout our day but also some excessive noise in the room (away from the event) next to us at night. The staff and management obviously had been notified already by other guests when we called and professionally dealt with the situation. Due to this later in the night disturbance, Fort Garry Hotel generously comp'ed our room, which was a surprise and a testament to their dedication to excellence. Thank you Fort Garry Hotel for a grand experience!!

La pulizia è classificata come 3 perché la nostra stanza aveva un odore (non male, potrebbe essere solo i prodotti di pulizia), ma non che era pulita. Il servizio era fantastico, tutti dai lavoratori ai residenti erano amici, è un ambiente molto accogliente e caldo. Il colazione che viene con l'hotel superava davvero le nostre aspettative, le uova REAL, i migliori marroni di hash, e il toast era bacon era anche buono. Hanno un pantry/piccolo magazzino di comodità nel lobby, e dico che i prezzi sono ragionevoli, si aspettano sicuramente di essere più. Sulla parte inferiore i letti sono sul lato più rigido, ma le mutandine sono di buona qualità. Questa non sarebbe la mia prima scelta di tornare a vinnipeg, ma per il prezzo e buon pasto incluso, è il top #5.

Ambiente confortevole, rilassante. Le camere di riunione erano moderne, TV grande per vedere presentazioni piuttosto che con un proiettore. Il letto era confortevole, camere grande con doccia e tubo. L'unica cosa è che non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, solo uno scendendo e la vecchia fabbrica di spaghetti lungo la strada.

I quite enjoyed the room—particularly the floors, as the dingy carpet so typical in these chain hotels had been removed. This gave the room a much cleaner, modern, and appealing vibe. Lots of space for office work with plenty of plug ins. From my 26th floor room, the view was great. Bed is comfy. I do wish that the hotel would provide a plain kettle for boiling water. I am a tea drinker not coffee, and boiling water in those little ‘coffee makers’ is very awkward, not to speak of the lingering coffee aftertaste. There was a fridge but no microwave. No safe. Unfortunately the restaurant which I only tried once was TRULY mediocre. For wine lovers, don’t bother—they only had 1-2 selections of horrible wine. Go with beer — much safer. My main issue is that the location of the hotel has become quite troubling, with many First Nations individuals in the area, many clearly suffering from substance abuse. Often they were congregated around the doors, and there seemed to be very little in the way of security. As a solo female traveller, I felt unsafe. Even during the day, there were two fights that broke out nearby during my four day stay. Very sad and unfortunate but I would not elect to stay here again until this situation improves.

Awesome product offering in the Exchange District. Staff lovely and helpful. Modern streamlined room. Great walking and biking trail to The Forks and Goldeyes Baseball stadium. Comfy bed. Trendy decor and super bathroom with waterfall shower. Adjacent Cibo Restaurant-great food. Exercise room with view of river. We’ll return. Oh and the in room Nespresso!
