We had a brilliant stay thanks to Vicky, Jonathan and the team. This was our second visit to the Windermere Suites; this time we stayed in the Grassmere Suite; this was a lovely bright room with a lovely huge comfy bed, lots of wardrobe space, all the amenities including a paid mini bar if you need it; overlooking the main road. The TV has Netflix, YouTube, iPlayer all included. The room service breakfast is pre ordered the day before and delivered at your chosen time. We enjoyed a range during our 3 night stay including full English, Vegetarian, Boiled Eggs, Pastries and more. All very nicely served. The room is as toasty as you’d like it to be with powerful radiators if you need them - and it comes with a lovely sized bathroom that includes a jacuzzi bath tub, tv in the room and walk in shower. The hotel is within walking distance to all the amenities, pubs, restaurants and attractions in Bowness and Windermere. Really enjoyed our stay and have already booked to come back for New Year at the end of 2024. Looking forward to visiting again! Thanks to Vicky, Jonathan and all the team for the warm welcome 😊

Great location very near train station except it’s on a hill, challenging to push our big luggage up the hotel. Plus our room was at the extension building which didn’t have lift access. Fortunately the staff was helpful and carried our luggage for us.

What can I say about this wonderful little place, that hasn’t already been said? We visited here on Sunday, for the pre booked 3 course Sunday Lunch and we’re so glad that we did! Our joint of beef was cooked to perfection! The vegetables and trimmings were delicious! The parsnip and pear soup and white onion soup were stunning and the desserts were super. The staff were friendly and polite and their customer service was great. Take my advice and visit here, you won’t be disappointed!

Il 21 aprile e il 24 aprile ci siamo trasferiti, bella stanza, molto pulita, vicino a tutte le strutture, la colazione era di buona qualità. Margaret ci ha guardati molto bene durante il colazione. L’unica cosa che potevo sbagliare era che il letto era estremamente incomodo e molto duro, quando guardavamo, vedevamo che c’era un tavolo sotto la matita non si era certo perché, ma la matita era estremamente incomoda. Le pareti sono molto sottili e si può sentire ogni conversazione nella prossima stanza e ogni pianoforte in alto si sbatte e le porte si spaccano. In generale, una buona permanenza, ma purtroppo a causa della scarsa qualità della mattress e della mancanza di sonno non ritornerà. Tasso 8/10.

Super posizione, a pochi minuti dalla stazione dove anche viaggi di autobus andare per esplorare la regione. A 20 minuti si sta al lago. Molti ristoranti bell'intorno. Ospite e signore erano molto gentile! Sempre pronto a dare consigli sulla regione o aiutare dove possono. Ci hanno accolti molto accogliente. Colazione era molto ampia, molto deliziosa colazione caraibi, ma anche l'omelette e il bricco inglese erano deliziosi. Inoltre, un buon buffet extra con frutta fresca, yogurt, succo di frutta, ... Avevamo la camera più piccola e era troppo piccola/inconveniente per noi perché avevamo comunque 2 valigie grandi. Siamo abituati a un letto più grande, quindi era un po' stretto per noi. Questo ci è stato chiarito molto in anticipo, quindi sapevamo che saremmo arrivati in una camera più piccola, anche in bagno molto piccolo lavabo e piccoli mancanze alla doccia, ma niente molto fastidioso. In generale, soggiorno molto piacevole!

Il B&B è situato in una zona tranquilla di Windermere, a soli 5-7 minuti dalla città principale. Hilton gestisce un alloggio molto ben organizzato e amichevole e si pone davvero per assicurarsi che tu abbia un buon soggiorno. Gli alloggi sono favolosi e sono divertiti tra le 8:30am - 9:30am. Ci è piaciuto il nostro soggiorno di nuovo qui. La nostra camera era bella, pulita, ben presentata e era solo ideale in queste notti estivi tardi che stiamo vivendo. Ottimo valore per soldi e un luogo ideale per esplorare i laghi da. Grazie ancora Hilton. Jane & Steve xx

Booked to stay at this Guest House a couple of years ago due to its proximity to the railway station but had to cancel due to Covid.This time we took the car so we thought we’d try again and are pleased we did. The property is immaculate as are the rooms which are also very comfortable..We stayed in room5 which is a decent size as is the bathroom. Holly Lodge is in a great location close to all the amenities and a 5 minute walk from the Information Centre where many of the tours depart from.It’s is only a 20 minute walk straight down the road to Bowness where it is a little more lively and has more bars and restaurants. You also get to start the day off with a great breakfast and plenty of choice. The staff we met were all lovely. You must try this place.You won’t be disappointed Fully recommended
